 the car is loaded with features, very good leg space for rear passenger,rear a/c vents,rear charging points,bluetooth connectivity,stearing mounted controls,suggestive gear shift inticator,very nice interior,tilt steering,driver seat adjustment,alloy wheels,ABS,auto door lock on high speed,reverse parking sensors..all this at a price tag of 6.50 on road...........

 very smooth,perfect fro city ride and very fuel economical.Gear box is smooth but cud hv been more better

 ride is good and power steering is very very light

 This car is value for money having all latest features and fuel economy.Also ita interiors are far better than amaze and sail.Its tall boy desigh helps in getting in and out with ease.i think Hyundai will increase the price of this car in near future, bcoz they are giving too much at comparatively low price.There is button on remote key to open boot

Exterior - Its just like its hatch sibling Grand I-10, could have improved the styling from the outside, especially the front part of the car. The rear too looks super slim though its pretty comfy on the inside.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) - Loaded with features and pretty comfortable. Only thing missing is the adjustable front head-rest. Other than that no complaints, which car would give your rear AC vents, Steering controls, Foldable outside mirrors, etc at this price !!

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox - Giving an average of 10 in city and 14/15 on highway so far.. have driven about 1000 kms in 1st month

 

Ride Quality & Handling - Should work on the brakes. have to be very smooth on it during traffic.

 Buy from a good dealer, i have had a really bad experience with the dealer i bought my car from.. Mithila Hyundai, Mira Road, Thane.

 Exterior is good, but build quality is same what low compared to i20, looks like a true compact sedan well integrated boot

 Good Interiors, excellent space :well optimised engine bay so more space available for interior and boot, nice features, smoothly tuned suspension

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Slightly underpowered but when engine is on rolling and when turbo kicks , no power issues

words saying about fuel economy, as soon as i purchased on the very next day i drove from vizag to nagpur 1200 km run, on the hot summer season with AC ON continously, my vehicle returned 21.8 kmpl on the brand new vehicle, now the engine is clocked 4000 kmpl, its returning a mileage of 24-25 kmpl on long run.

Good ride quality, but cornering lacks confidence, tyres to wider.

Areas of improvement  

 Fron seat should be wider, ABS to be available from S(O) version, rear side could be improved

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Best in class interiors, tons of features and quite comfortable.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is quite peppy and rev happy. I especially lyk the soundtrack it makes when revved hard. fuel economy isnt good, mine is giving 9kmpl only dnt know if itz the case with my car only as most of the reviewers say abt 15kmpl. though hav driven it close to 1450 kms and itz time for its 1st service, just hoping mileage will improve after that. gear box is quite smooth, a bit notchy when shifting to 2nd sometimes.

update: after 1600 kms and first service i decided to check the mileage once again and to my surprise it came out to be 16.4kmpl overall. finally i am relieved, love my xcent.

Ride Quality & Handling like it pretty much and is better than my previous hyundai which was i10.

Final Words a good value for money car.

Areas of improvement nothing.

A huge list of creature comfort, practicality.nothing i didn't lyk.

Exterior The the  body appears  as if the surface of the tin  sheet is flawed. It does not sport a different look than the I10 Grand.The sheet on the tp is too thin. When it rains the cabin noise is horrible. ( I am from Kerala where the rains are torrential). The windshield is also not very clear especially during rainy night driving and the wipers do not give a clean wipe of the windshield glass.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Feature wise the car has almost  everything except a built in GPS. There is no dead pedal for the automatic version which is a major drawback.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good, Fuel economy dissappointing.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good but the steering comfort  is not as good as the I10. The worst thing is about the erratic and unpredictable  behaviour of the brakes. They behave in totally different fashions everytime  and I lose my confidence while applying the brakes. 

Final Words The Company has to do some urgent rethinking about the brake system. I have come across others who are having the same problem with the brakes. I have once taken the vehicle to the authorised service centre with the braking problem. Of course, some improvement was there initially but things have again deteriorated.

Exterior Very simple.  styish, dynamic &  looks more complete compare to Dizer & amaze. Diamond cut alloy wheel in SX(O) model gives extra-ordinory looks , Large boot space,

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Simply EXCEPTIONAL is the word i would like to explain interior. Lots of feature at reasonable affordable price. Quality of interior plastic is good too..Cool glove box, Controls on streering wheel, music system, climate control AC, Rear parking camera with sensors, night view mirror, Push button start , smart key , electronically adjustable & retractable OVRM  adds pleasure to driving & gives feeling of luxurios car from inside..not to forget height adjustable driver seat & rear vent AC.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I clocked 1000 km in one month & found pleased with my decison to go for Xcent, i drove almost 800 kms on highways with speed around 80- 100 km/hr & rest of the 200 kms strictly below 30km/hr due to. So average fuel economy came to around 17.5 Km/ L.. which seems to be very satisfactory. Gear box is butter smooth, very easy to change. undoubtly best i saw so far. Great performance above 2000 rpm. Petrol engine is fine tuned & noise inside the cabin is almost zero.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is very comfortable, little bit extra width in rear seat would have been great, seems best Handling car for crowded city area.. Noise insulation is excellent & it's feedback from the people who have driven Desire, amaze, I20 etc.. if you are not adventurous & sporty, you will definetly love this car.

Final Words If you have budget around 7.5 -7.8 lakhs & want to have premium features, shall not have second thought, descision is very simple to make. GO for IT.

Areas of improvement Could have been great car with engine capacity of 1400 CC, gets bit slow while gear shift from 3-4 , 5-4 & 4-5, --- But still acceptable.

 Super awesome interiors.. No doubt on this one. legroom space at back , stereo system , handrest, everything is premium

 Gear Box is Very Smooth, BUT ---> there is power lag in Diesel car. you can literally feel the lack of power in this car it makes you work on all the gears and its not a car that you like to rev on High ways.

Fuel Economy is Excellent in Diesel.

We need to have engine like (Honda Amaze) for power with the interiors of Hyundai Xcent

 Worth for money car,  if you looking for speed then dont buy this.. this is an Premium featured car with nice features and limited power and good for city rides and fuel efficiency.

Featured car, excellent value for money interiors and premium feel and lookPower, Power lag in 2nd gear and it makes you work on every gear. need engine like Honda Amaze.

Xcent has fresh design, pleasantly contemporary interiors, almost every feature you'd expect from this segment and some more segment firsts. Newbie drivers will appreciate gearshift suggestions on MID, reverse camera and parking sensors. But the best feature for me has been the unexpectedly large boot capacity of this sub 4m compact car, it will have no problem to keep luggage of 4-5 adults for a long trip. Xcent is also capable of using almost every manner of playing music.

Has Hyundai's decent service network to take care without much hassle, fuel economy is also on better side of 15 kmpl. NVH level is also very low, on longer driving distances lower NVH levels will always be appreciated. The petrol engine may not be as powerful as some other competitors, but it does the job and returns decent fuel economy. Handling and suspension are also good.

Would have been nice to have Distance to empty & current fuel economy shown on the MID.

Exterior: Good, the backside boot area could have been better. Looks great from the front.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Amazingly good. Very comfortable in the backseat, no engine sound. Handrest is very coffortable. However the front seats do not have a split head rest, its contained in the seat, should have had split and adjustable headrests like back seats

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Good engine performace, smooth, no sound.  Though the pickup is not great; its not bad either. We have had one servicing so far.

 

Ride Quality & Handling: Have driven upto 120 kmph. Handles pretty well in high speeds. No jerks, good in inclines too, we drove it in the hills, satisfactory drive.

 

Final Words: Great value for money family sedan. The interiors specially are very impressive. In the exteriors, a better finish was possible, backlites and boot styling not as good.

 

Areas of improvement: BRAKING MOST UNPREDICTABLE. WE ARE VERY UNHAPPY. HAD REPORTED TO DEALER, HE TRIED TO RECTIFY BUT STILL NOT SATISFACTORY
