Hyundai Verna [2017-2020] User Reviews

My friend bought a hyundai verna sx(o) diesel, that is the top varient in diesel manual. It was last December he purchased this vehicle. We carpool daily on alternating turns. i have driven it plenty of times. we also went to trips in it couple of times. Here's my review of Verna diesel in detail. PROS: 1. At first glance, the interior is perfectly designed. not on any point i noticed any flaw, loose fittings or cheap quality materials anywhere (except hard plastics but that's not an issue). 2. comfort is just at par. seats holds you very nice and tight and offer great support. 3. infotainment system is very smooth to use. 4. gear shifts are slick and acceleration is quite good. 5. 6 airbags and good build make it safe ride for you. 6. feature loaded sedan. CONS: 1. Space. it is definitely an issue with this car. rear passenger leg room is very poor. in this price point rivals offer almost double leg space. head room could also be better. 2. no shoulder room either. 3 people sitting at the back is a dream in this vehicle. 3. Mileage. being a diesel motor it is expected to be fuel efficient. company claims it to give a mileage of 24kmpl. rather we would be happy at 20 or atleast 19. but it returns a mileage of 15-16 kmpl. even my xuv500 returns mileage of 16-17. Drivings on the highways for the major. So if you are planing to buy, here's an advice. if you have a small family like of 2 or 3, it would make a great choice, keeping cost of driving factor aside. it loads with features and other stuff but certainly lacks in space. if you have family of 4 or 5, i personally think rivals such as ciaz or city would be better choice.
