After driving Tata Nexon, Honda Amaze, Baleno, Dzire, Vitara Brezza & Hyundai Venue one thing which I liked the most about Venue is the fact that how smooth its handling is. You get the right feedback, the sound is great & car looks spacious and very good from the front. The rear is little flattish & doesn't compete well with likes of Nexon & eco sport. The 1-litre turbo engine is more power then Creta base model.

After the first long drive and first service or check-up, my venue has topped mileage first time for 18.1kms which is awesome! I don't feel any issues with suspension until you fill correct tyre air pressure. If you're single force 33psi all tyres will give you best cushion effect. For full passengers with luggage, 35psi will suffice. Pick up is good for the natural engine but it is bouncy sometimes from 1st gear to 2nd. Engine urges you to change to 3rd for comfortable feeling ha haha. :-) pick up is easy even in 3rd gear at low rpm. Top speed touched 125 kms with continuous speed alert then without a choice reduced to 110kms in the highway. Mileage at top speed is 16kms. V nice and value for money car. I'm bit disappointed with android auto frequent disconnection issues and Bluetooth hands-free only one device is connectable is not really acceptable. Still, I feel 1.20 L S Plus should have 16inch alloy wheels for a better feeling of the drive. Overall satisfied and lovely Venue.

I have driven 1500 km's till now and I had a wonderful experience while driving this car. Clutch, gear and handling are very smooth and cabin noise is negligible. I have not felt any kind of power lag .Mileage is 12-13 in the city. This model is value for money . And if you want some more features you can go for S+ variant.

Buying experience: I booked this car in the month of January and got the delivery in the month of March though it was a COVID era still the delivery was quick and without any hassle. I brought S.1.2 Petrol model. Driving experience: I drove this car for almost 4500 kms now and I can surely say its very comfortable to drive. sometimes I feel more punch is required in the engine specially while overtaking. Details about looks, performance etc: Car looks stylish form exterior I have brought this car in a. Denim blue colour and mixed it up with a light brown seat covers which looks and feels very Royal and give you a feel of expensive car.

Power, torque could have been better engineered having indian conditions in mind. Finding it very difficult to accelerate and we lose confidence on its performance while over talking. Once it attains momentum it flies.

Just booked the Venue SX+ DCT version after a lot of thought & a series of visits across showrooms & test-drives. As a package - the car is near perfect I would say with a few very silly misses by Hyundai. I had to choose between the EcoSport vs Venue & we settled on this car. And it has always been a tough choice. Styling: I do prefer the rear of the EcoSport since it looks more SUV like compared to the hachback look of the Venue. Venue does look more modern in its own stride. Ground clearance is 10mm less than EcoSport (200mm) Venue (190mm). Features: Its loaded but with a few silly omissions. Overall its is more feature loaded than ecosport. Lack of an arm rest in the rear & the 60:40 split sears in the rear are silly cost cutting omissions. However Safety: This is where I feel Hyundai is missing out. Their flaghsip model is missing the side curtain airbags & more importantly the rear wiper & washed. IMO - of all the tradeoffs I mide between ecoport & Venue, the rear wiper is perhaps the biggest gripe/disappointment. I mean how much does it cost more to put a rear wiper on a compact SUV/hatch? The rear glass gets mucked up quickly when it rains, & the rear wiper is a life saver. There is little to write about mileage from the 1.0 turbo petrol mill. Friends who got the manual SX(o) claim to get 10-12 in the city. I suspect the DCT will be more towards 10kmpl. Smaller engines are not so frugal when driven quickly or under load. However I expect due to the 7th gear on the DCT, cuising on highway will over good mileage compared to the 6 speed manual. Most new buyers (not all) who are claiming mileage at the moment is not presenting a full picture. Simply since the mileage improves with the run in of the engine over first & second service. There is hope here - Kia just launched Seltos with 1.4 GDi petrol with 7 speed DCT. Expect that mill to power the new Creta. Expect this 1.0 GDi to power more Hyundai & Kia compact segment cars in the near future - especially due to the new Euro6 & Bharat 6 norms. THis is another reason I was leaning towards the Venue 1.0 compared to the older 1.5L mill on the EcoSport. Even Ford offers their flagship 1.0 EcoBoost with their top car in manual which produces similar power to the Hyundai's 1.0 Turbo. Overall - I am happy to stick with the choice of Venue 1.0 DCT however I will always continue to crib about the rear wiper being missed.
