Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent, 15kms/ltr on long trips, yes, something tickles when changing the gear from 1st to 2nd, and i can feel it at the hand. I think thats common for all santro's. The seatbelts are not height adjustable, so they tend to chafe the neck of a short person. The seat fabrics are nice and rich; however the seats themselves are too hard. The rear seat feels awful (good thing I drive). With the AC on, the performance does take a hit. Still manageable in the city, but enough to render it handicapped for highway use. Owing to the tall design of the car, Hyundai had put stiffer springs to contain the body roll. Add to this the lower profile tyres. The ride quality has gone for a toss. It feels bumpy (esp. at the rear), crashes into holes with a loud thud.
Ride Quality & Handling Great city driving experience.
Final Words A Great Middle class car.
Areas of improvement Upgrading the wheels to 14" and increasing rear seat legroom would be great, in my opinion :)
Very good City car for a family of 4As usual, not advisable on highways
