Worth for the spend

Bought this i20 MT Asta (o) in Nov 2022. Cars I have test-drove are i10, Altroz non-turbo version, Virtus. Being my first car, I have decided to go with a Hatchback as a starter and for my small family, I believe a Hatchback is suitable with the budget. Pros: 1. Design: It's really magnetic as endorsed with a sharp-edged exterior. Personally, I find it cuter than Baleno and Altroz. The Interior is also well-designed. The dashboard is awesome and the quality of plastic used is better than any small car 2. Comfort: Trust me, this is the most comfortable small car for rear-seat passengers. With decent thigh support for them, long travel is doable without any hassles. 3. Practicality: This is where the i20 tops all the rivals. With lots of features (most of them are useful). Also, the boot space is adequate for a small family. It has got a powerful AC. 4. Ride Quality: I loved the ride quality in this car as I drove Altroz and Baleno. Baleno is fair but not on par with the i20. I do 120+ on highways with undoubted confidence. Cons: 1. Performance & mileage: Performance is average comparatively. The engine seems hungry in the first two gears but you need to downshift while overtaking. Mileage is one thing which is a deal breaker to buy this car. With 11 km/L within the city and 16 Km/L on highways, not fair for a 1.2 L engine.
