Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is a bit slow to repond, the Ignition system and Lock and ABS and Power windows are defective and Hyundai has not told the public.
Faulty Ignition Key and Lock I have a i 20 sportz recently about a month ago the Ignition Key got stuck in the key hole and it just would not start. I had to call the service center and got it towed to the workshop. The Muralinagar service center said that the complete key set has to be replaced and it costed me a walloping Rs18,000/- My complaint is that the Ignition Lock and key are defective as even before it failed completely, there were problems of the key not functioning perfectly it would turn on smoothly. I strongly feel that there is a manufacturing defect in the Lock set which Hyundai is not disclosing. I had previously owned Maruti, Fiat and Tata vehicles but none had basic mechanical failure. I impress upon Hyundai to take a call on this and refund the amount at least.
Now a few days ago another problem has developed, the ABS indicator is not going off and the service center says it will cost Rs7000/- to change the part concerned. I am totally disappointing with HYUNDAI CARS and have decided not to buy HYUNDAI anymore, as I was considering the CRETA.
Ride Quality & Handling Bumpy.
