My i20 ASTA 1.4 was bought in June 2010 (On-Road Rs. 7,98,000 then), and I had abused it like a volvo bus, and completed 70k kms just a day back. Perfect service records (about 8 services ) and happy with the car in all aspects. the most annoying issue till date , is the repeated steering rattling issue, even after fixing it many times, it reoccurs.
And the airbag failure light comes up frequently, which means in a collision, it wont deploy. Its a electrical problem, which Hyundai is trying to fix for many months now in my car. FE is 19 to 21 KMPL with sane driving, the lowest FE with terrible driving condition is not less than 15 KMPL. Can easily reach speeds upto 170 kmph with no worries, and once it did 190 kmph.
Overall reliability is top notch, maintenance is slightly on the higher side, resulting about Rs.6000 every paid service (every 10000 KMs service interval). Stock apollo tires lasted for about 45000 KMs, now running on Bridgestone B250. Other than couple of dents and scratches (my bad), the car is very reliable , and a good buy.
