Exterior
exterior is best in his segment soo no need to worry about that and best part is the DRLS in fog lamps
it just looks awsum
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
interior design is also cool as exterior but some little things look a bit odd
like old school gear knob, single hand rest on driver seat, and most important absence of average fuel consumption display, this feature is must according to me
except this all others factors like space and confort is very good
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
engine performance is not soo good during pick ups when car is full
it responses well after crossing 2000rpm and after that car goes like butter smooth.
stability at high speeds is also good enough you wont even feel it when car is going at speed of 125+
fuel economy is well good in city it delivers about 9-10 an. on highways about 15-16
Ride Quality & Handling
excellent ride quality
handling is the factor where you need to take care as steering is very smooth .
otherwise handling on high speeds is very good
Final Words
if u want luxury, confort, features loaded , no compromise in safty then this is the car for you
Areas of improvement
design of gearknob, average fuel consumption display, distance to empty

Exterior
European style, that's what the company claimed, and no complaints about it.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Front passenger seats are really great. Gives you a feeling like your sitting in a luxury sedan. Easy approach to the console. 2nd row seats are a bit straight up. Could have been inclined a bit. Decent leg room and under thigh support.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
The engine needs some more power and PS, it really lacks it. Fuel consumption is decent. On average the vehicle returns about 12km/litre both city and highway conditions. A very smooth gear box.
Ride Quality & Handling
Smooth ride, handling is good and amazing highway manners. But you feel the pot holes hitting you when driven on them. Can't help it, looking into the size of the car.
Final Words
If you can spend 6lacs and above, looking for great hatch with features to boast upon, go for it.
Areas of improvement

Exterior
exterior is good. mainly head light, fog lamps, and led light.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
interior is good. but mats should be replace with latest available one.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
engine performance is good. low engin sound. but ac noise should reduce.
Ride Quality & Handling
handeling is very easy and smooth. gear shift is also fluent.
Final Words
look wise it is goog. but hyundai should allot touchscreen display in car.
ground clearance should be increase.
hyundai should provide AC for back seaters in next i20 madel.
exterior head lamps fog lamps are stylish. led light is quit good. but in night as soon as u turn on head lamps led turns off. it should be turn of till ur car is in on state. ground clearance should be increase. as some time cars lower part touches to speed breakers.

Exterior
Stylish design, no questions asked, nice sporty looking stance with day time running LED's add more character to the car. Rear view camera??? boy hyundai is spoiling the customers. I haven't seen any hatch getting a rear view camera. This adds further to bluetooth, company fitted music system with AUX in, USB port, automatic rain sensing windscreen wipers, alloy wheels, ohhhh too many to write. This actually makes me happy for picking up this car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Bought the car looking at the features avaliable and decent legroom and head room. A nuclear family should be very happy with this product
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
I think this is where Hyundai should take a bit care and increase the PS and the torque. Sometimes I really feel the power lag.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality is very soft, you can feel the bumps, very good road grip and high speed manners and decent enough.
Final Words
I am satisfied with the car, more over the after sales treatment is amazing with Hyundai.
Areas of improvement
To the Hyundai management, please increase the PS of this car.

Hi, I am Amit Bachhawat, i bought i20 last year Nov 2013, i bought the Sportz Version Petrol. Believe me i had fallen in love woth the Exteriors of the car, with its LED lights, style and looks, its rain sensing vipers, automated side mirrors adjustable etc it is just amazing.
I have already driven about 1300 kms, and the Interiors are just superb, considering tha fact that i am a new to driving. The features are awesome like Steering mount audio controls, Bluetooth connectivity for accepting calls from mobile phone, playing wireless music from bluetooth devices etc, huge leg space, child lock, tilt and telescopic steering etc. (Features, Space & Comfort)
There is a little problem with the engine power considering its a Salon model, its only 1197 cc where pick up is good biut lack little boit of power. But the fuel economy is good at 13.5 km/litre in city and around 17 in highway. Gerabox is the most snmooth i have ever seen.
Very easy to ride and handling is very much in control
Go for it if you are looking for in city driving and style.

Exterior
Exteriors are good huge manly looks are attractable, but exterior colours are not soo good and black colour is missing in i20.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Interiors are superb, full of features, what u get at this price is sufficient, only missing thing is avg fuel consumption and distance to empty feature. camera and sensors are awsome and are realy very helpfull while parking.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Low fuel economy like 15-16 k.m/L in city drive but 20+ on highway. feels underpower at starting but after 3rd gear its like rocket. top speed i got 165km/Hr in 6th gear.
Ride Quality & Handling
ride quality is good, only thing that trouble sometime is its lighter suspension.
Final Words
VFM one should buy this machine for city drives.
Areas of improvement
avg fuel consumption and distance to empty feature should b added. otherwise everything is perfect.
(Black colour i20 is missing shoul add this colour as i was keen to buy black colour.)

I own a I20 ERA (white) bought on Oct. 2011 and drove by me for more than 25000 kms till date. Even today I love it everytime I drive it since there are no major issues with my car. Love Hyundai for their serious concern for service and for the beautiful I20. I also maintain it with a monthly full wash and timely service.
Exterior
Impressive and eye catcher. Good attractive design.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
The door and dash interior looks slightly plastic which shows out even minor scratches. The dash design is something unique and different that will get noticed. I had a natural impression that space issues in small cars should be neglected. But to be practical, while the back door was opened I was taken by surprise to see much luggage space available than I expected in a small car. Now I have a sub-woofer placed and still can carry two suitcases and a big bag comforably while on family tours ! Major advantage!!
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
The engine performance was really good in my first year and later the pickup slowly showed signs of giving up when I needed. Fuel economy is as expected by me. No regular issues with Gearbox but was showing hardness when it was time for a service but then it was perfect after the service been carried out.
Ride Quality & Handling
I have touched the speed of 130kmph on Bangalore-Mangalore highway and felt confident in handling and road grip. At times even when unexpected braking the car never gave me any panics or surprices but was steady.
Final Words
My test drive of any vehicle before buying is a nightmare to the Sales lead since I test the car to its limits since I believe accidents happen when you are high speeds and panic braking 😄. I had taken many other cars but I20 made me happy with all risk prone criterias in my test drive.
My buying choice for ERA version was mainly because I wanted to fully customize my car without wasting my money by choosing my requirements for both exterioirs and interiors as per my taste. After purchase, I fixed the alloy wheels, a spoiler, seat covers, floor matting, for audio system - 2 component speakers, 2 door speakers, 1 sub-woofer and 2 tweeters - all JBL make (since I am more into ARR music and am a musician too), 4 channel Amplier with a Sony touchscreen Audio player for clarity in the music. Now its a moving studio for me and love it more than being at home !! 😄Areas of improvement
1. Provide option to fix fog lamps in the front bumpers for all versions without fog lamps.
2. Provide option for fixing Daytime Running Light (DRL) or provide in all versions.
3. Replace the door and dash interior to a better material than to look and feel like plastic.
4. Provide a complete foldable back seat. Currenlty, only the backrest can be folded but the back seat remains in place and cannot be unloacked form its position to furter fold it towards the reas of front seat. This will give additional luggage space while only 2 persons are travelling.
5. The glass holder inbetween the front seats extends more towards the back seat and makes the person sitting in between the two in the rear seat slightly uncomfortable to place his legs.
Exterior looks, Electronic Power steering, handling at high speedsNo option to fit in the fog lamps to the bumper in ERA version

I own white i20 sportz CRDI since May 2013. Clocked more than 32000 kms till date. I really love this car for its power, mileage. But has to be driven within limits. I were able to reach 160+ kmph but can’t maintain it due to its limitations.
Exterior Good. Small alloy wheels don’t match the car. 15 inch alloy wheels with 195/55 R15 tyres would have improved the looks a lot.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice interiors. Large bootspace. OK sound quality. 60:40 split seat in the rear (One of the major factors which made me to choose i20 over swift / figo). Good support in front seats although average in the rear. Those in the rear may complain about AC cooling.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox No complaints with my driving style (maintain 1500-1600 rpm in 3rd or 4th gear till it reaches operating temperature, then it’s ready to boil). 100 kmph at 2000 rpm in 6th gear - Nice.
Fuel economy varies between 18-23+ depending on the driving speed and AC usage.
18 kmpl - Highway driving at speed of 150+ for most of the time (Top speed - 165 kmph).
21 kmpl - Highway driving at speed of 90-110 kmph for most of the time (75% AC).
23+ kmpl - Speed of 75-100 kmph for most of the time in Highways (75% AC). Best figures i were able to get are 25.46 kmpl (average of 39 litres diesel), 25.08 kmpl (average of 28 litres diesel) & 24.5+ kmpl (couple of times).
Note - I were able to get these with synthetic engine oil, maintaining tyre pressure at 35 psi & Iftex system D usage (one bottle over 3000 kms every 10000 kms)
Gear shifting is smooth although not butter smooth as in Grand i10 (petrol). Clutch is hydraulic and hence very light. Clutch fluid shares the same reservoir with brake fluid.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good as long as road has less undulations and less winds. Bouncy on uneven roads, those at the rear really won’t like it. If fully loaded, u need to slow down at every speed breaker as if u are stopping the car. Otherwise the underchasis will scrape the speed breaker generously even if it is of medium size. With large speed breakers and fully loaded, u can’t do anything. Either scrape it or choose alternate route.
Electric steering is ultra light. After getting used to it, u will like it. But strong winds (which will be frequently encountered in highways during evenings in summer) will scare the hell out of u, if u are travelling at 100+ kmph. Need to hold the steering with strong grip in order to get the car moving in straight line.
Braking is good. Overtaking will be a breeze once 1750+ rpm is attained.
Final Words I chose sportz version mainly because of 60:40 split seat. The rear seat can be folded completely. First the under support need to be lifted and then the back support without the headrest need to be folded. I would have chosen Fiat Punto Evo sportz had it been released one year earlier. But i don't regret buying i20.
I would love to do the maintenance myself as i am not satisfied with the service provided by the dealer. But the problem is all hyundai dealers refuse of sell spares (like oil filter, air filter) over the counter. Fiat and Ford are providing then why not hyundai.
Areas of improvement Already improved in Elite i20 and i20 Active.
