Hi,
Initially, i liked the car for interiors. Beige look was very much inviting to buy this car.
I have heard very good comments from Santro that gave me a trust to buy i10.
Also i have read some reviews in carwale from customers which boosted my confidence.
After buying the car, my trust has increased with the better performance, smooth driving, fuel efficiency than Santro. In total, it is real previlage to have Hyundai i10.
Regards, Shankar

Got my i10 and am already in love with this beauty and fully satisfied. The integrated gear box makes the vehicle looks cooler but it will take some time to adjust. Certainly a first in Indian cars . The 1.2 Ltr. Kappa revs as smoothly as scotch. Even at night I failed to realise whether the engine is on. Hyundai sticks to it’s trademark, small on the outside, big on the inside. It’s as spacious as the Getz. Only engine and boot space have been reduced to give it the compact look. However small the car looks, it’s no tortoise by any means. Thought not as perky as the Getz, the pickup and driving experience is quite good at 79 BHP. Though the boot is small they’ve still added a lamp. Wonder whether that was necessary. Also, The i10 being a city car, the dual airbags & ABS seems like a fancy addition rather and a practical one as it would hardly be used in our stop and go city traffic. Others may differ here. They should have rather included alloy wheels which is beneficial in all driving conditions. Also, the tinted windows are a waste as they are too light and you still need to put a sun control film anyway. They could have easily knocked off upto 30k without the above features or at least should have made them optional. PROS: An ergonomically designed dashboard, Leather covered steering wheel, keyless entry, tubeless tyres, beige interiors all add class to this car. The integrated stereo is nice but the speakers leave much to be desired. But that’s the case in all cars which come with integrated systems, so you can always change the speakers to suit your tastes. The seat belt warning is a neat addition, it’ll save me some money (bribes) as the laws are strict these days. Besides this there’s a whole bunch of warnings and indicators, very useful. Finally, the sunroof. Very smooth operation. Love the way it slides back and forth. The build quality looks excellent.
Excellent value bye in this segment.

This is an excellent car to possess. You will feel very luxurious and relaxed when you ride the car or while you drive the car. May be it is a bit costly compared to other hutchback cars if you go for the 1.2 Kappa Sportz AT or 1.2 Kappa ASTA model, but all in all it is a decent car. Only one problem may be there, the service stations may give you some problems, otherwise choosing a Hyundai car will be the wisest choices. If you consider Maruti cars, only the Maruti Swift is a good choice, but it is not that good looking be it the interior or exterior compared to i10 and also it is a bit wider than i10 cars. All other models of Maruti Cars are not that impressive. The ALTO is a good car for middle class people but with the AC on there is drag. The latest model - A-Star has a crunch for space for the back seaters and the dicky space is also very less, therefore it is not at all a family car. Chevy Spark, has problems regarding service work. SO LOOK NO FURTHER AND GO FOR HYUNDIA I10 1.2 KAPPA MODELS

When I had started to searching for a car to own, I had gone through the details of all brands (Tata, GM, Maruti, Chevrolet) by visiting their showrooms and getting the technical details about the car as well as its value for money. But it took three long months to decide which one to go for, but ultimately zeroed down to Hundai, as the best brand in this range.
But after this it was still very difficult to make out the right choice of dealer from whom to buy the car. It was carwale who helped me in this giving the every details of the Hundai dealers in Hyderabad. So I could call up directly to them and started the final negotiation. It was of immense help that crwale had sent me the important details to decide on the matter and no need to waste time and money ferying from one dealer to another.
Over phone the initial discussions were complete and then I could zeroed down to two dealers besed on the price discount they offered along with free accessories they gave. Infact I could see that by buying this car, I saved around 30,000/- from any other car equvalent to having similar technical features, based on total onroad price including accessories.
The performance of the car is very goo for the last one and half year, as well as the service offered from Hundai, customer support and communications etc. I am very happy to be a Hundai faimily.

Hyundai i 10 is the best hatch back available on Indian Roads. I am not surprised at all by this car winning CAR of 2008 year award. I would give this award to it every year hence forth. Indian roads should feel blessed to have it on them. It is one of the best creations of Hyundai so far. If i have to write about the car any number of characters will not suffice.
From design perspective it has a unique design so impressive that Maruti had no other choice but to copy it and roll out in the name of A-star.
Unmatched fuel economy it imparts on Indian roads. My personal experience is 15.2 km/l in the city with AC. I am yet to experience the fresh breeze while driving.
While sitting on the driver's seat i get the look and feel of a Sedan beacuse of the dash board. The gear lever is so elegantly placed that it automatically comes under your palm when you want to exercise it. This was a great piece of Innovation.
Arm rest enhances the comfort levels of not only the driver but also the passengers.
The space within never lets you feel you are in a Hatch back. To tell you one more fact i test drove Ford Fiesta, Honda City and Hyundai Verna before buying i10 and trust me the comfort level while driving in i10 is far better than most of the Sedans available in the market today.
I can go on and on for i10 since it has a special value for me being my first CAR.

It is an excellent car because of the performance,
driving comfort,
fuel economy.
In the city i10 responds excellently to throttle input. The engine is extremely smooth and refinement is excellent. In the city driving is smooth because of plenty of power and responsive nature of the engine shifting of gear is not frequently required.Gear shifting is very easy and without effort it can smoothly be done.Outside the city limits the driving of i10 is so smooth that no strain is experienced even after driving very long distance. The steering is light and remains so even at high speeds. The brakes are having very god stopping capabilityand pedal feel is excellent.
The car has excellent pulling and manuourability.Even during crowded city traffic this vehicle can be smoothly controlled .In the city where bumper to bumper traffic is experienced i10 outshines vehicles of this category because of the performance of the kappa engine. The acceleration of the vehicle is rapid .Vehicle is vibration free even at high speeds. The vehicle has a unique look which no other hatchback of this range is having.

The well-equipped i10 is an affordable small car and a perfect combination of superior technology, roomy interiors, and the stamp of reliability. With its aerodynamic design, array of standard convenience and comfort features, and luxurious fittings, its sure to win your heart.
The i10 is lively and handles well with its short wheelbase and turning radius that makes it ideal for swift maneuvers.
The i10 is a wide and smartly designed small car that draws the attention of enthusiasts with its stylish and aerodynamic design. The most impressive and stylish cues are the sharply raked windscreen and ellipsoidal glass that enhance the overall look of the i10Elegantly designed interiors are not only plush but also provide a luxurious feel.

I have a very good experince with i10 is that on 13th Dec 08, i was planned to go to my honeymoon, my flight was 6:40 AM from delhi airport to kulllu. I was stayed on 12th night to my sister home at Rishi Nagar, Rani Bhag, New Delhi. It was near minimum 45 minute distance from Home to Airport. Unfortunatly we wake up at 5:25 AM, its only around 1 hr in our hand.
That time we was supposed & confirmed that we missed our flight. But i10 was with us, one more intersting thing was that Petrol was not enough to reach to airport. We pray to GOD, start our i10 at 5:55 AM. We was not sure that we will catch our flight, we just want to take a chance. But with help of our i10 we reached airport withing 20 minute catched flight and petrol was still remaining into the car.
Really Thanks to i10 otherwise....key thing was it was start in 1st attempt, easliy get speed more than 100 km/h, smooth & safe. Awesome.
Thanks to Hundai again.

It all began with a teaser sort of an experience of a star-studded 70mm product for us when we went for the fun and frolic filled media drive, with a good friend, fellow journos, a good-lookling lady and a former racing driver to make for an electrifying company, and returned back only to get drunk, exchange pleasantries and sign off. It all went well. But I was feeling restless.
Almost all of us have experienced this once atleast, maybe even more. What I am talking about is the feeling of eagerness that you experience after watching the trailer of a really talked-about motion-picture. You always look forward to the release of the movie to actually see what the buzz is all about. It has been a similar state of affairs for the latest compact car to crowd the small-car segment even more. Hell, I suck at talking ‘Bollywood ishtyle’, don’t I?
I was getting impatient to drive the damn thing again. Yes, I know, getting impatient to drive a small-car sounds rather absurd, it ain’t no Ferrari afterall! But somehow, (and I know quite a many people, motoring journos included, will disagree with me) it was a sense of occasion when I saw a Hyundai i10 clothed in a sparkling ‘champagne’ colour come to a parking halt in front of my doorstep. Why such a feeling? It’s hard to explain. You see, I was about to drive, for quite a few kays and test it in the bargain, a car that might just go on to write many pages in the book of Indian automotive history. So then you tell me, why should I not have felt the way I did?

I bought an i 10 in Dec'08 when it was firsy introduced in the market. Previously I was having a Maruti - 800 and I was just waiting to buy a new car. I was following new launched for the last two to three years and none of them were to my satisfaction.
Maruti's new launches were not impressive. They were just making some cosmetic changes and launching new models.
On the other hand, the i10 from Hyundai was a totally new car. The great looks were like falling in love at the first sight. Test driving was a great experience with the car running at more than 120 kmph with ease at the GT Road near Asansol.
Everything was just fine till the launch of Kappa model with the 1.2 L which must be a bit faster than the original i10. But all the same , I am extremely happy with my i10.
Thanks.
