Since I bought this car I am completely in love with it ... I have averted 2 or 3 incidents where the car would have hit .... but thanks to the excellent braking systems I was safe.... My parents who cant take the back seat due to space crunch are more than happy to take the back seat in i10 as it is so god dam spacious in the front as well as the rear. styling of the car is superb.

Pick up and all are good enough to challenge maruti swift.... Although we are not there for a race when we are in the road.... So I believe a very good for the price in which the company offers

Good fuel economy, Good style, very spacious, beautiful interiors

The car was purchsed in OCT 2008, till now it has clocked 11200 km, it is giving 18 in the highway ( i used drive at 80-100) when you drive at 70-80 speed i am sure you will get close to 20 km/p.ltr ( i normally fill at shell). The car is smooth, and having good ride control. You can enjoy the driving and do not mind the long distacnes it will not make you to feel bored,. the a/c is very good.  The horn is very poor and weak ( due to pollution control board they need to provide such useless horns, when you in the highway even a dog or goat will not move if you blow horn) I am not satisfied with their service, i am with HMP , ekkaduthangal, chennai,. The service point is always conjusted . when i have give my car (2nd service) , one Mr.R.shankar attended me, and when i took the car after service the second horn which i was fitted outside( MICO horn) was not in working condtion, when i found and approached shankar he rudely said it was fitted out side and HMP is not responsible for the same. I have asked him i need my horn in the same condition , they i have approached sales manager( Ms,Archana) who sold my car to intervene only after her intervention they have propoerly checked and  admitted some wires were came out during the cleaing, then it is fine. But i could not digest the behavious of Mr.Shankar . I hope some one from Hyndai can read this, and in my opionion the body language and behaviour is very poor, someone has to teach them how to behave and treat customers.

Great riding comfortVery conjusted service centres , need more HMP centres,

I bought i10 in January 2008. When I decided to buy a 4 wheeler, I did some research and shortlisted Santro, i-10 from Hyundai and Spark from Chevrolet. Spark: I had almost purchased this vehicle when one of my friends warned me against chevrolet service. They are not good at that. Also with the second look, I thought the vehicle is too compact. So finally I went to Hyundai showroom. Santro and i10 are similar looking vehicles. So I thought why not go with the latest model. and finally I decided to get i10. Fortunately my decision didnt prove wrong. Looks: It is a gr8 looking vehicle. interiors are really great. It feels like a sedan from inside. Moving gearbox to the front is a good move. Beige colored interior gives a rich look to the vehicle. Handling: handling is soo smooth. Gear changing, steering wheel handling is really awesome and you feel very relaxed while driving the car. Engine makes no noise and it becomes hard to detect whether the ignition is on when vehicle is neutral. Turning radius is also pretty good (probably better than Santro). You are ensured to get a smooth, chillaxed ride in i10. Performance: I was a bit disappointed on the mileage front. It doesnt give more than 11-12 in city. This can be because only 1 servicing has been done. But I expect it to be at par with Santro.I am not a speed-crazy guy. But I have driven at 100 kmph and man this vehicle was moving swiftly at ease. No stretching noises felt. AC is also powerful.I am also not satisfied with the boot space. Dealer: I purchased it from Shreenath Hyundai showroom . On-road price was 4.63 lakhs. I was not completely satisfied with hyundai people. No discounts, no free gifts (Not even ganesh idol...) Problems faced: I have faced a slight gearbox problem. It gets locked while shifting to 1st gear. It is a little irritating. I dont know the cause. I will get it checked in this servicing. Overall I am satisfied with this vehicle. No major problems faced yet. This is a gr8 hatchback with gr8 looking interiors and smooth ride. So if you are looking for a hatchback, catch the i.Good style,Good interiorsLess Boot space

I have owned this car in Last Year  (June 08). My first Car and I am lucky enough to get the Best in its segment also. Interior is Really good with enough Space. And its Pickup is excellant you have to be carefull on Road not to Hit any Viechle ahead, but at the same time Control is also smooth and Engine silent. three times i was confused at the red light if the Engine is start, and then i saw the indicator for that. AC also very effective.

I am also getting Fuel effeciency in Patiala City Fuel economy at 17.15 Km/ltr without AC running and with AC running more than 15, its Fuel Economy seems to be good for me, on Patiala Roads, may be reduced on delhi Roads due to Traffic, I still have to drive long distance to establish the Avrage on Highways.

As my first car, my kids loves the Car, Style and Interior which I love. Performance and Power which makes you feel Proud of, Earlier we were only admiring Maruti Cars in Small Car segement, but this Car really makes its space due to its value for Money.

Good Style , Interior and also EconomicalPower is more for Small Car in Rush Roads

Well, went for a test drive today. Have mixed feelings. Let me share the +'s first.

      1. Good interiors

      2. Spacious feel and look

3.Seating position is high ala Santro.

4.Nice power steering (boon in the city, better than Santro)

      5. Rear space slightly better than Santro

      6. Can drive in 4th gear @ 30 kmph

      7. Road noise doesnt percolate into the cabin

      Now for the -'s

      1. Priced on the higher side.

      2.Bumpy ride

3.Doesnt seem like a strong build (like santro again)

4.Requires a quick gear change from 1st to 2nd - tends to drag after 50 kmph..

I've had a Santro for 6 years now and was happy and wanted to look at another car which was similar as a change. Voila after driving the i10 I felt like I was driving another Santro with better steering (which it is since its going to replace Atos (Santro) in mature markets). Hence if you want a Santro look at i10,if you already have a Santro - then look at the Swift or Getz or higher...This car is not in B+ range but in the B range and the extra price is for Interiors and goodies like Airbags,ABS....For those who want a quick City runabout car in City traffic this one makes sense !!!

Good interior, speciousColor Choice, higher price

The i10 has always been a popular car, and now it has got better with the introduction of a new engine, the 1.2 litre Kappa motor.

The facts first: the new engine is an all-aluminium, DOHC, 16-valve unit that produces 80bhp@5200rpm, 11.4kgm@4000rpm, and is redlined at 6500rpm. It has a lubricated timing chain, offset crank, and spark plugs that have been lengthened from 19mm to 26.5mm. The valves incorporate hydraulic lash adjustors. Other innovations include the lack of a fuel return line that helps save fuel by eliminating evaporation, and fuel injectors whose pulsing can be varied, depending on the requirements of the moment – warming up, power, or normal driving.

Primarily I did compare i-10, Swift diesel, Spark and A-Star. My focus was to have a car with good engine, comfort, design, reliability and Fuel efficiency offcourse. My 3 weeks analysis made my mind to narrow down to i-10. And I am very happy for my decision so far, though I will recommend that if your daily run is more than 40kms then go for Swift diesel.

The only issue with i-10.....I felt initially, was color of dashboard. It should be bit more dark to minimise the reflection on sunny day drive. But now may be I got habitual I don't feel any problem due to this.

      Mileage part:
Till date my i-10 has covered approximately 755kms including city and highway drive (Chd to Jpr). To check its average (tank full to tank full), I refueled it in delhi. At that time it had already covered 422 Kms (200km in city and rest on highway). Fuel usage came out to be 23.8 ltr.
That is, a nice average of 17.7 km/ltr even prior to 1st service. I am quite satisfied with this mileage and hope it will increase further after 1st and 2nd service.

On highway I avoided crossing speed of 100......but still I would say that it is quite stable and smooth on highway at high speeds. City drive is also very enjoyable and comfortable.
Now I will be refueling it at Jpr to check its average again., and will update you all…..

      Have fun & drive Safe!!

i brought home an i10 kappa sportz(oyster grey)in DEC-2008 as its light coloured interiors got my attention.it makes you feel fresh & lively all the time😊.recently i went for a to & fro trip to my home town(Allahabad) covering 825kms in all.it consumed around 45 ltrs of petrol giving an impressive 18km per litre average(with AC on for some time). through out the journey i found it giving a very comfortable ride and a very silent cabin even at the speeds of 110-120km/hr. performance is superb & overtaking is never a problem even on the hilly roads.AC is quite capable of chilling anywhere inside the cabin.music system sound quality touches the heart.many a times i parked the car in the garage & remained inside it for a while just to feel the tunes within my heart.i used to consider myself a smart guy 😎for opting i10.now seeing so many i10s on road i wonder that there are many more smart guys than i used to think in the world of small cars.😄

good looks, interiors excellent, engine performance superb, spacious from inside for a small familyi10 kappa milage is around 18 km on highway, could have been better if compared with A-star.

This is my second year with i10.Initially i was little worried about the fuel economy..in city drive..but not now..Trust me if you are an average driver go 50kmph..you will get 16kmph.in city ..but without A/C.And i got 19kmph in the highways..WITH A/C.I usually drive any car when i get oppertunuty.I think this is the best car in the class yet.The most thing i like in i10 is the gear transmission........it is a plessure..with that click sound..not like the fitght between the driver and the second gear....in other cars..you might have noticed that. But i know that the basic instinct of buying a car is the looks........ANY WAY AS AN ARTIST I LIKE IT..BUT BEAUTY ...IS IN THE EYSE OF THE...BEHOLDER..SO..IF YOU ..LIKE THE LOOKS....GO FOR IT..

Every thing exept the torque....the torque

The car has got excellent interiors. The 1.2 kappa engine gives great power without compromisin fuel economy. Company provided music system in sportz and asta models is good enough if you are not totally music freak. It is decent and small user friendly functions have been taken care of.

The car has got good space (both sitting and boot). and the seats are comfirtable. Dashborad and gear box are very stylish and the rear view mirrors can be adjusted from inside. This car can definately attract customers because it has got everything but 1 in a very good price.

There is only 1 thing which i wished in this car but didnt find is that Magna and Sportz version dont have ABS, only the top version Asta has.

overall comment- Great value for money and great family car.

      If compared with Swift-

I10 has got slightly less power but much better style, better interiors and better fuel economy. Also Hyundai gives adequate after sales service as compared to Maruti.

      If compared to A-star-

A-star top model model gives everything but space. A-star is definately not a family car, it just cant adjust a family in.

      If compared to Chevrolet UVA-

I10 1.2 has got more power, better interiors and approximately same fuel economy for lesser price.

Good style, excellent power and fabulous interiors without compromising fuel economy.having ABS in only top model
