Exterior It looks good, especially from the front.the new grill is excellent.more over, that turn indicator on the rearview mirrors seems double ok.from the sides its look like a small car.but remember its a hatchback only.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I would like to say its outstanding, the quality of the material used in this is similar to my toyota camry in kuwait.the dashboard is awsome, looks like a new premium car.i think many of the car companies considered india as a 3rd class country when i see the interiors of other hatchbacks.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox About mileage,it gives me around 15-17km/lt in india(kerala).some says , they are getting 8km,9km like that.i think either they dont know driving or they dont have any idea about the car or may be they are the dealers of other companes !!!!!!!!!.The only bad thing i felt is the power of the 3rd gear.its not good enough.the company should try to resolve it.gear shifts are really comfortable.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent except when you go over 120km/hr.
Final Words Its a good car for the small families. go for it.
Areas of improvement The tyre size should be upgraded for faster driving, also the 3rd gear power delivery.
Interior, well designed, material quality is very goodThat 3rd gear is not powered well.Exterior/Styles

I bought the i10 for the simple reason that it was a cheap car with decent horsepower and torque. true enough, the engine is willing and strong enough to occasionally have some fun with.
the problem lies with the the gearbox and clutch. the transmission ratios are so weird. first gear is very short, which means you have to shift to second very soon. then second gear is really long. in a car with little low end torque, a long second gear is just a constant pain. the engine is either screaming at high revs or groaning under very low rpm (courtesy loooooong gearing).
therein comes the clutch. the clutch, i find, is too imprecise and just generally seems unable to adequately cope with the rev happy nature of the engine. so basically whenever you shift gears, the whole car goes through a nodding motion. not a great feeling in traffic.
I sound pretty awful about the car. its not a bad car at all. hyundai has truly learned the trick of perceived quality with this car. its a decent car. good space, reasonably refined, surprisingly quick and its cheap and its small. the perfect recipe for a city car. in fact, its the perfect recipe, wasted.
I was expecting something more entertaining. i wasn't looking so much for fuel economy or practicality.
too bad hyundai forgot to make the i10 un-boring. it is at the end of the day, a very dull car.

Exterior The exteriors along with the projected head lights give this car a masculine look and feels a big car. The indicators on the mirrors also look cute.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) 5 people can comfortably travel in the car and the leg room is also decent for passengers. You may have to stretch a bit to accesss the music system controls.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have driven about 4500 KM till now and have no problem with the engine and it is quite silent! However there is a noteciable drop in power with a/c on in 3rd, 4th gear. Gear shift is smooth and the position is ergonomic. I am getting a mileage of about 13KM in city and 18KM on high ways. I was expecting a better mileage inside the city with the new Kappa2 engine.
Ride Quality & Handling I have driven about 1000 KM on the highways and the ride quality is fantastic and it is easy to maneuvre the car.
Final Words All in all, a great hatch to buy. Only concern is the raising petrol prices!
Areas of improvement A/C fan noise can be lowered.
Good exteriors and interiors, Seating comfort, Power steeringnothing really. Would have liked a better fuel economy with Kappa2 engineExterior/Styles

Exterior is fantastic. Look wise Interior is good and spacious. Features are also good as per the price. Location of AC Vents are wrong for driver seat. The AC air flow is blocked by the stearing on both side of the driver and only half of the air could reach the driver. If you wear long-toed shoes/sandals then you cant drive the car comfortably at least in crowded area. I have to take-off my formal shoes and use floaters while driving the car and change them again when I reach office.
Engine is Powerful and performance looks good.
Fuel economy is bad (12 kmpl in City) while Hyundai claims 20.36 kmpl for Magna 1.2. Its about 1 and half months now I have bought my car. I drop my wife in Gurgaon DLF Ph III in the morning and go to my office in Infospace Gurgaon and return home with my wife in the evening(34 km/day). Both area are over crowded and could be the reason for bad fuel economy. People say that fuel economy could improve after 1st service. I will post again if I see any improvement after 1st service.
Ride Quality is good and Engine is powerful (May its bcoz, I used Wagon R earlier). Even at 110 km/h it looks in control and stick to the road.
Final Words Good car with few comfort related issues and bad Fuel economy.
Areas of improvement Location of AC Vent for driver seat should be adjusted, Clutch design should be modified for comfortable drive for long-toed shoes.

All,
I purchased my i10 Magna Kappa2 in May 2011. Just after running 3000 KMS i noticed that the car engine was making a bit of knocking/rattling sound in 3rd and 4th gear. This was not in low RPM.
I checked with Trident Hyundai in Bangalore and they serviced it 4 times but the problem was not resolved. I then took the step of going to consumer court and then I got a response from the service manager that a person from Hyundai Motors, Chennia named Shiva Kumar wants to take a lookat my car. Post the inspection, he said that the car head seems to be blocked and that the fuel lines should be checked. They took the car and opened the upper part of the engine, cleaned it and delivered it after 5 days. The problem looked resolved. I then ran the vehicle for sometime and the car has not run 12000 kms and the problem has come back. This time on straight roads when the car is in full speed.
I took the car to the same Trident and they are saying that it could be problem with the ECM and they are suggesting me to upgrade the ECM Version (which they are going to do free of cost). I am literally paranoid with this. New car, and all sorts of problems. I read a lot of people with the same complaing on i10 Kappa2 VTVT.
I wrote to Hyundai India but they are lame ducks and are not ready to reply.
Any suggestions Pls.
- Santosh

Exterior With hexagonal grille at front and well rounded proportions, it looks beautiful. Its a very proportionate car for its size. Turn indicators on OVRM's add spice to the overall looks. width is small frmo outside, very useful for navigating in heavy traffic zones.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors definitely belong to a sedan segments. Better than any competetive cars from a segment above even. Very soft plastics, durable and excellent value for money. Day night mirror etc from base 1.2 variants
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Butter smooth engine,Even after 24,000 kms in around 1.8 years, no rattles from car and excellent performance from engine. 3rd gear is what all you need ever driving this car. Mileage in city comes around 12 and on highways i constantly get 19-20 with 50% a.c. for both city and highways. very smooth and refined engine with excellent low end torque, you need not rev the engine till above 2000 rpm for performance, you have it all the way, as soon as you start the engine.
Ride Quality & Handling Its only achilles heel, it suffers from bouncy ride on uneven roads. Only ONE technique to avoid this, ride SLOW on uneven surfaces and car handles well. Ride quality is amazing, very soft suspension aided by high profile tyres.
Final Words Excellent car and most value for money car in the segment. If you need a petrol car, look no further than i10 from Hatchbacks available in India. NO swift, yes its doesnt have low end torque capabilities of i10. Hyundai next gen i10 has got best power to weight ratio and it pulls of very easily than most other heavier hatchbacks.
Areas of improvement Bouncy ride quality.

Exterior
Earliar i was using MRAUTI 800. I purchased i10 Hyundai Kapppa 1.2 two months back. The Exterior of car are good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
The Interiors of car are also good. The side mirror adjustment feature is good. The four power windows are good . The power steering is also a good feature.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Very poor. It only drives well with lots of gear changing. Otherwise it acclerates less with full power . I think this is the only reason where the gear indicator is provided in the car. Fuel economy is also very poor. The gearbox is smooth in comparison to other maruti cars. The fuel consumption per liter is 9 km/l.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride Quality of the car is goo. The Handling of car is also smooth
Final Words
After driving i can say that the decesion to buy this car is not a good idea. Not a wise thing to buy. It is better to buy a maruti car.
Areas of improvement
Fuel economy and engine performace needs improvement.

Exterior Good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Generally OK- but scope for lot of improvements.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel Econimy very bad.
Ride Quality & Handling Good.
Final Words It seems Hyundai Motors are cheating people by giving absolutely fa\lse claim on mileage. A bad choice indeed as I purchased this car after reviewing other cars, mainly because of better mileage expectations. The car was given to authorised dealer M/s Kun Hyundai, Chennai 2-3 times, They have done nothing and keep giving vague answers. They claim that most of the i10- are getting 11 kms in city. I am very Disappointed. Advise others to be very careful before buying this car. Also its very sad, that Hyundai Motors are least botrhered about all this. They have nowhere mentioned any customer care nos or any mail ID of Hyundai Motors where consumersan lodge any complaint.
Areas of improvement Hyundai Motors must do something seriously to improve the performance.

Exterior Good exteriors. and looks also.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice interiors and quite sapcious nad dirving comfort is appreicable as no backpains after continious 4-5 hrs of drving.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is commendable no abnormal behaviour. Less in fuel economy. Gears are hard and needs efforts for reverse gear.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good. Handling of car okay. As I drove through the worst roads of jharkhand jungles. Where roads are alomst vanished. only ditches. But the car didnt had any problem.
Final Words I purchased the new I10 in march 2011. since then its plesaure in driving as I sharpened my driving skill in it only. Its worth buying if u neglect it fuel econmy otherwise pleasure in driving. I drove it alomst 2200 kms in 1o days. Absolutely no pbolem with the car. only it costed me 7000 rupees of petrol.
Areas of improvement Fuel economy. And new digital fuel gauge is little bit doubtful as its each bolck depicts how much of fuel.
