Hi all, I've been driving my i10 Era for close to 14 months now mostly in and around Chennai and drove once on a long drive on the Bangalore highway(about 520kms round trip).i think the car does justice for city driving.The 1.1 engine is adequate on stop-start city driving conditions.The air conditioner is powerful enough and cools the cabin rather quickly(Oh!those dreadfull chennai summers!!!).For my driving style im able to get a mileage of 15.5 to 16kmpl in city with careful usage of ac(like switching off the ac at traffic signals).I was able to clock an amazing mileage of 20kmpl during my highway drive(90kmph average).The cabin can seat 4 adults in comfort and seating is quite adequate and comfy on longer drives too.The beige interiors might give you a headache in terms of maintenance.I wish there was a deadpedal like on some santro models.My only other grouse is the irritating noise from the left suspension on bad patches which even after two services could not be fixed.im planning to take it to HMP soon to get it fixed.But overall im quite satisfied with the car.But i dont think its appropriate to compare i10 with swift as it i feel both are in different leagues.and thats just my perspectiveFresh looks,decent fuel economy,adequate reponse suited for cuty drivingBumpy ride on bad patches,not really a highway car

Hi all, This is my first car and i did psen about 3-4 months pondering over the options I had. I finally decided that it has to be between an i10, India Vista or a Swift/Ritz... Spoiled for choices you would think... But the style n the beauty of the i10 won me over... This car is streets ahead of the rest in its league though I feel its a little smaller that a Swift/Vista and priced a tad too high.. When you compare the boot space of an 110, no other cars even come close to matching it. And I was also quite keen on a tall boy/ hatch back kinda model so I guess it eventually got down to the i10 hands down./. Had the car for months, driving it mainly in the city.. The engine literally purrs and I sometimes am not even sure if the engine is on or off when at signals! The beige interiors are no roblem at all and there is no reflection whatsoever. I do feel that the gear handling could have been made a little btter as changing gears aint very smooth especially 1st to 2nd and there ia a slight glitch there. But that again is something u get used to after driving it for some time.. I have no other complaints about the car, Its a dream and the Sportz version is good because te 2Din system is quite attractive and gives you a lot of space in the front. And for an above average music lover, the 4 speakers on the doors are more than sufficicent and has very decent effect.. The power tends to decrease when the AC is on but honestly I dont even realize it.All in all, if you have a budgest of about 4.8 to 5 lakhs, look no further than an 110, I would say!! :-)excellent ,comfortable Interiors, Large boot space, 2Din music systemCould have been a little wider to match swift/Ritz. Nothing to worry about guys. Anyone wants to buy a hatchback car, looking for powerful engins with gr8 styling. i10 is the best. I have purchased an i10 Sportz car on 1st Jan'10. Met with a terrible accident on 30th Jan. My car dealer from whom i have purchased my car could get me a good amount from the insurance company. My car was covered with " BAJAJ Allianz " car insurance. Insurance company can give only 3 lacs only while i have purchased the car for 4.15 lacs.

The dealer itself was very nicely behaving at first, but once this accident happened, they behave like they dont even know me.  

What happened with me could be my fate but what i want to convey here is that beware of both the Hyundai Dealers and the Insurance company while purchasing. Do your homework, find out who is the best dealer in the state or your province, whatever the case may be, and then make your purchase. Don't make your purchase in hurry. If your dealer is good, he will help you with the insurance claims. Keep these things in your mind too prior to your purchase.

 

And as far as the car is concerned, like i said before, no doubt it it the best compact size car in its class. Only thing to worry about is its mileage.my car was giving 10.5-12.5 in town and 14-15 on highway which is ok. But its kappa engine is very powerful..... no doubt.

 Interior of this car is excellent. I own Magna 1.2 which come with everything one would desire. Like A.C., Power Steering, All Power Windos. Gear Box design is unique in its style.

 Hyundai I 10 offers one beautiful ride quality. It has very good power steering as well as precise gear box.

 I am in love of my car and proud to be owner of I 10. On long drive you will feel like king while driving this car. I have purchased this car after prolong research on various websites. I almost read all reviews written about this car. Noted all of them. Test drive in Hyundai Sharyu showroom - Vashi. On a day I test drive this car I felt in love of it. I am yet do 1st service. I am hoping that performance of this car will improve further. I have already taken longdrive to native place with it. Then its performance was marvellous. I am extremly satisfied with buying of this car.

Areas of improvement  

 My only concern s while shifting from higher gear to lower gear with speed it dosent co operate.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Most spacious in this segment. Very Intelligent design of spacing with thoughtful features like shelves for books, safety belts and child lock controlled by driver.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Vow, KAPPA-2 - a great engine with absolute noise free, smooth, effortless fuel transmission- the best engine i have come across.

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent smooth riding with Kappa -2 Engine. I can challenge , the smoothest engine made so far in this world. I have owned Maruti-800, Maruti-Wagon-R, driven Maruti-Swift, driven Indica, Ford-figo, honda-jaaz - I touch my heart and say this is the car one shoud proudly possess and best for a self-driven use.

Final Words Car with absolute value for money and i-10 Sportz-Next Gen is generiations ahead in style and comfort in its segment. I have driven cars like Maruti-800 , Indica, Matiz, Swift, Wagon-R, Ford Figo,etc... true to oneself--this is the car i-10 Sportz has given me an absolute satisfaction and holistic feeling while driving. Let me tell the truth, I had booked for a wagon R and taken test drives of Wagon R, Swift and i-10 , believe it an intelligent buyer will prudently select i-10 . I am not marketing for  Hyundai-- but this the genuine feeling of a common man like me.

Areas of improvement I purchase new i10manga kappa 1.2 in 2014. I was cheated by dealer for lot many things same has been written in their customer feed back but no use as usual Hyundai after sales never cares. Even after full tank filling(computer documents are available) it is giving only only 8 kmpl. I request my fellow Indians not to buy this car and not to suggest this car to any body. Even today it with lot of problems because of dealer cheated me and never bothered to reply to my feed back. Even Hyundai did not bothered for any customer feedback which was explained to hyundai customer care engineer in bangalore. I am very disoppointed after buying this car. I request to take care in buying this car in life.

Exterior: Great looks although scratches very easily and with the slightest hit. Beautifully designed.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Quite spacious and comfortable for 4 people (not 5). Leg room and seating space is quite comfortable. Powerful A/C. The interiors feel very posh and way better than any Maruti car in that same price range (Celerio, wagon R, alto).

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: The engine is powerful (probably not as good as the Kappa variant though) , but its decent for everyday driving within the city. 

Fuel Economy is not brilliant. It give about 17 kmpl in regular city driving with A/C off.

Gearbox is sometimes finicky and creates friction while changing gears, especially moving from 2nd to 3ed gear. Also, the reverse gear gets stuck often and requires that you first move to first gear and then reverse.

 

Ride Quality & Handling: The ride quality is smooth with 1-3 people seating but after that the car sort of drags and doesn't run as smooth and seems to work a lot harder. The manoueverability is brilliant in city traffic, the steering wheel, brakes and clutch respond quickly and smoothly. The only issues is with the accelerator which responds quite slowly (I suppose this is good and to be expected) but it can get mildly frustrating when trying to pick up speed quickly.

 

Final Words: I drive 45 kms everyday to and from work and have driven this car for 1 entire year with no problems except the issues mentioned above. For my small family of 3, this car is perfect.

 

Areas of improvement: The gear box needs to be checked and made more smoother.

I loved this car so much that I can't even tell anybody when I bought this car I was so happy and now it's almost 7 years to this car and I think now it's time to change it but I don't want to sell this because I love this so much

Looks good but the suspension is bad Wheel size very short, not comfortable drive in India village This car touch to the breaker good point And fuel capacity is very low So guess for city area is ok And rugg area you not comfortable drive so don't bay
