Exterior I have a champange gold i10 which i got at 12 jul '09.Sunrise hyundai near mother dairy plant is a good showroom.I had M800 and Esteem which were not too good.We had seen ritz, wagonr and santro but they did not look good.So when we saw i10,we loved it and booked one magna kappa. It looks were good in champange gold.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are good and space too is nice.Comfortable car .Ritz VXi -Odd shaped boot. Wagon-R LXi-Lacks front power windows and more features.Santro-Not at all a comfortable car. i10 KaPpA Magna-With everything you need.Even wanted to go for honda jazz but no seat height adjust.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good .The fuel economy is better than any car of its class and gear box is good.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride is not good like chevy beat but handling is.Quality of ride is nice but a little sloppy.
Final Words If anyone needs a good family car, must go for the i10.
Areas of improvement Fabric has to be improved.Equipment must be more.Airbags can be added to magna and Sportz.

very good car but not very powerful. very stylish. can be improved. the engine displacement should be about 1300 cc. Because it's compateters are swift and UVA. they have more powerful engines. overall it is a good and very sexy car.
but to my comparision i think the aveo u va and the seift wins because u get a more peppy engine, spacious interiors. i think the u va or swift is better. but i think safety wise i 10 is better because it has airbags and ABS in the Magna (O) model.

Exterior Looks wise better then the old i10.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior looks good to compare to old i10 and dash of dark brown is easy to maintain and clean compare to beig which becomes more dirty because of light colour.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is powerfuel in every respect in power of 80ps with very good fuel economy.
Ride Quality & Handling Good but can't say excellent.
Final Words Overall I would say it is a very good car to buy compare to any of hatches that are available at this time in the market Ford Figo is very good car as become icooty car of the year but the jury of every aword panel had driven the deisel version of the car you can't campare it with any petrol cars so if you want to buy a petrol car with every features you got the option of only i10, list of things which is only availabel in this car only, Reverse parking censor, turn indicators on orvms, blutooth conectivity with stearing mounted controls, powered mirrors & electrically heated mirrors, floding key with power door locks, abs, airbags, 2 12 volt. chargers, tilt steeringwith audio controls, driver's seat height adjustment, electric power stearing, power windows all 4 with auto elumination.
Areas of improvement Bigger tyres with alloyes, electrically folding mirrors, inbuilt gps navigation & revese parking censor should have been with camera.
fuel economy, bluthooth conectivity in stearing, reverse parking censorNo Alloyes, No electrically folding ORVM's small tyres

Exterior The exteriors along with the projected head lights give this car a masculine look and feels a big car. The indicators on the mirrors also look cute.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) 5 people can comfortably travel in the car and the leg room is also decent for passengers. You may have to stretch a bit to accesss the music system controls.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have driven about 4500 KM till now and have no problem with the engine and it is quite silent! However there is a noteciable drop in power with a/c on in 3rd, 4th gear. Gear shift is smooth and the position is ergonomic. I am getting a mileage of about 13KM in city and 18KM on high ways. I was expecting a better mileage inside the city with the new Kappa2 engine.
Ride Quality & Handling I have driven about 1000 KM on the highways and the ride quality is fantastic and it is easy to maneuvre the car.
Final Words All in all, a great hatch to buy. Only concern is the raising petrol prices!
Areas of improvement A/C fan noise can be lowered.
Good exteriors and interiors, Seating comfort, Power steeringnothing really. Would have liked a better fuel economy with Kappa2 engineExterior/Styles

Took delivery of the vehicle on 02/11/02011 had already run 40km on the odometer by the dealer. On 03/11/2011 drove the car for for about 25kms and the vehicle just stalled, there was no acceleration, the car just stopped moving, waited for 30 mins then drove for another 15kms and the same problem occurred, opened the bonnet the engine had overheated, called the hyundai service no, vehicle was towed. totally ran 90kms including the dealers 40kms. So my concern new car and engine fails what kind of quality checks do they have, very appaling.
It looks like Hyundai before realising their vehicles dont test the engines, manufacturing in wholesale overlooking important checks.
Dealer: Trident Hyundai, Domlur, Old HAL airport road, Hyundai i10 sportz, First car purchased in India, paid in full, and this is what we get car breaks down after delivery. no concern from the dealer had to make calls no follow up, horrible service as far as hyundai is concerned. I dont know what they have to say.

I have been owning this car from October 2008. In fact i would be perhaps among the first to own the 1.2 Kappa Version as they launched the Kappa in September 2008.
Exterior When this was launched it was a stylish one. Even after around 7 years this is a decent exterior. I have been giving a polish every 2-3 months and it still has the shine. Compact car and it fits easily in any parking space. I stay in Pune and trust me i never had an issue parking in the lanes of Lakshmi Road.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It had decent features when I purchased the car but now they look old. Still the audio i had (Blaunfinkt) is going good for me. Has decent space for 4 people . In the past 7 years i drove around 42k kilometers and i typically drive quite safely. I find the shock absorbers not that effective now.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox This still gives me around 14kmpl in city condition though i fill the shell petrol which typically gives me a 1 kmpl more than the other petrol. Not much maintainainace i had to do though typically the authorized owners push for things which don't make much sense during the annual maintainance. check your manual carefully and don't fall for anything that the authorized owners advise. On an average I spend around 6 to 7 k on maintainance which includes once a year maintainaince and another oil change.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is still good though the potholes needs safer negotiation.
Final Words Value for money. if you have any spare parts that need replacement it won't typically burn your pocket. I used to get an average of around 16 in city conditions earlier which has now come down to around 14 after 40k kilometers of riding and 7 years of driving. City traffic it is very easy to drive considering the pickup it has. Do a proper oil change in 6 months and once a year maintainance (assuming you don't drive more than 10k kilometers in a year) and you wil not spend more than 10k on maintainance (including insurance). Tyres are still good for me with the one rupee coin test. i have till date only changed the battery at around 35k kilometers.
Areas of improvement Servicing needs to improve. I experience and i hear that most of the authorized service garage ask for things which are not necessarily required. Say a firm no in case they are not mentioned in the manual book. Try reading it properly.

Dear friends,
It is an owner's pride and neighbour's envy type of a car.
This is my first car and so cant really authoritatively talk on technicals but I can vouch for the comfort and luxurious experience that this car gives. For technicals, many good/perfect reviews are already available. I'm giving you layman's take on i10 magna.
i10 has got those small, fine things inside the car that help you a lot once inside. Use of space is great in i10. This has to be appreciated the most.
Don't go for speakers/woofers at back. Powerful door fitted speakers (mixed & matched for this, didn't go for one company's full set) will give good experience and let you have more usable space.
Fine dashboard and informative instrument panel upfront. Gearbox moved further up from bang in the middle of front two seats, really (really) gives more space to drive and co-passenger.
Fuel economy, manoeuvrability in city traffic etc is way better then swift which is the only other proper option available in the price range (close to 5L on road including audio system and other such standard accessories).
Santro users or lovers may say what they want to but they'd be wrong. Comfort factor and related features (listed in details in this site elsewhere) are most important once you're inside any car and i10 magna is a clear winner here (over swift as well).
For me, zen estillo, chevy spark, indica etc were not really in the race after initial (one week's research) short-listing.
i10's cost though is not as well justified even after taking interiors into consideration. May be some ppl can wait till it drops if at all.
One point not mentioned much about this car except by a few is about it's handbreak, it doesn't give any confidence at all as compared to its peers and so I take extra care and use gears as well when i leave it parked.
For those who'd think Hyundai would have taken perfect care of viewing angles through windshield, they've not. Take care.
But what are our options really, at a price close to (and not too much above) 5L, this was the best choice other than swift.
Take your pick, power v/s great interiors and comfort.
Swift from inside esp. on rear seat will make you feel confined, claustrophobic relatives would hate it, two double bodied ppl at swifts rear seat would surely be gasping for air as it were. Just some of the reasons I chose i10 Magna over swift.
Swift's look is not as appealing now with i10 around.
My ratings should give you some idea as well. Good Luck.

Actually I was planning to buy Swift VXi. And i10 was the second option for me. That's where i test drived the vehicle and was in a state of confusion......when compared with Swift VXi in terms of price and the Luxuries provided in i10 Magna. I drove the vehicles three times to make the final decision and by April 2008 I have bought i10 Magna from Popular Hyundai. Now it has already crossed 7000 kms and gives me an average milege of 18 - 20 kms per litre on Highways and 14 - 15 kms in the city. But I am disappointed by the service provided by Popular why because they lack in co-ordination. I am also unhappy with Hyundai for not replying or taking an action for the feedback form I have send after buying my Hyundai i10. The reason was that when I have purchased my i10 Popular Hyundai did not take any photographs with my car at the time of delivery which i have mentioned clearly. I appreciate Maruti for their after sales dealings why because when my brother bought a Maruti they took a photograph with all our family members at the time of delivery and gave us a copy framed which is kept at home.
I would advice Hyundai to look into after sales dealing by the dealers so that they talk good about Hyundai.
My experience is that when walked into Popular Hyundai to enquire about the vehicle, they where so good to me but then after paying a lakh to book the vehicle their attitude itself changed and for each and every thing I myself had to run behind. It shows that when I paid the money they thought that the sales is confirmed but definitely I could have taken my money back and would have gone for some other dealers. But I didn't do that.
I thank Hyundai for bringing i10 and will definitely upgrade after three years looking into the forthcoming models.
Thanks and Regards,
