Exterior Good arodynamic design, wisely placed headlamps & rear lamp, Design looks great from all angles
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable front seats, Huge space on rear sides in same class, door speaker space made music soft & decent thought loud enogh. Can enjoy long ride with 5 people on board with A/C. Clever dash board design and gearlever placement.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox With 5 people on board and A/C ON (lower) gives milage of 17-18 Kmpl on highways. and 13-14 Kmpl in city rides. Can start at signal on 2nd gear with same pickup and no slugishness. No engine sound in cabin and around.
Ride Quality & Handling Overtaking on 2 lane road was never comfortable before - thanks to EPS power stearing & great pickup with tremedous engine power. Great rides in City trafic as there is absolutely no difference between taking your bike through such a worst traffic.
Final Words Really great value for money. It is just right choice for small family and serves all your needs. Even female riders are comfortable with this car.
Areas of improvement Braking system need little more work, but again car is stable without ABS in emergancy braking.

I bought the i10 for the simple reason that it was a cheap car with decent horsepower and torque. true enough, the engine is willing and strong enough to occasionally have some fun with.
the problem lies with the the gearbox and clutch. the transmission ratios are so weird. first gear is very short, which means you have to shift to second very soon. then second gear is really long. in a car with little low end torque, a long second gear is just a constant pain. the engine is either screaming at high revs or groaning under very low rpm (courtesy loooooong gearing).
therein comes the clutch. the clutch, i find, is too imprecise and just generally seems unable to adequately cope with the rev happy nature of the engine. so basically whenever you shift gears, the whole car goes through a nodding motion. not a great feeling in traffic.
I sound pretty awful about the car. its not a bad car at all. hyundai has truly learned the trick of perceived quality with this car. its a decent car. good space, reasonably refined, surprisingly quick and its cheap and its small. the perfect recipe for a city car. in fact, its the perfect recipe, wasted.
I was expecting something more entertaining. i wasn't looking so much for fuel economy or practicality.
too bad hyundai forgot to make the i10 un-boring. it is at the end of the day, a very dull car.

Exterior Nice exterior, I love the head light and tail lamps. indicator on the mirror is also good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Centre console is goog. gear position is very good. interior spacing is also good. It would be great if they provided a spae for fotrest near the clutch as santro.
Engine dash bPerformance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I choose i 10 becase of good looks and 1.2 engine with 20.36 offered by the hyndai under 5l.today I have completed 700km. but still am getting a milege of 9 in city drive and 11 in highway. I first gear is giving a great performance. but it is too short. but the second gear is too long. It will take 5-6 seconds after shifting the gear to reach above 2000 rpm. and 3 and 4 is so as. If you drive like a race you will get a good pulling. we need to shift gear before its rpm lows down.if so pulling is fine or else the car has a poor pulling.earlier I had a santro. Santro is giving more pulling than i10 in initial cases.i experiment theese two type of ridingsfor improving milege. but I am getting same milege.dont nevere and ever choose i10 those who give prioroty for milege.
Ride Quality & Handling Controlling vehicle is excellent. with eps streeening wheel sharp turnings are easy
Final Words Good car giving a pooooooooooooooooooooooooooor milege.

Exterior Post facelift, I10 got better muscular face, multispokes wheel caps are latest addtion, balanced looks being Tall boy. Its Popular and we see it daily, Hence you being observer are better to exclaim "Love it" or "Hate it". I loved it.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior Quality, Fit and Finish are Pasia Vasool. Plastics feel soft to touch. Colours and Textures are well chosen. Circular Chrome Finish on Side Vents. Blue light Illumination has now become Hyundai's trademark, uber cool.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Report Upto 2200kms, The Engine being DOHC is minimal in NVH. Cabin is Silent and just little vibrations drop in, nothing serious though. Engine has decent pep inside city, Post 2K mark and everything is fast. The First gear is good for nothing, Second feels lively to pick up from snail's speed, third can be used as automatic, from here you can observe tall gearing, Drop to fourth from fifth for quich overtaking , fifth is for cruising and works best when abovr 70Km/h for peppiness. 80kmph@2K RPM unlike other petrols where 70kmph@2K RPM. Gear shift Position is good, Short throws and slick action, rarely missed any gate.
Fuel Economy is Tall claim from Hyundai at 20KMPL. Realistically, Its 12-13kmpl inside city with 70% AC when distance covered is 17kms in 40minutes(avg speed~25km/h), our family member i20 returns 11kmpl with 100%AC , distance of 6kms in 20 minutes(avg speed ~20km/h).
17kmpl on Highway, Speeds at 80kmph with 90% AC,(avg speed 50km/h)
But then 4 Cylinder 1.2L DOHC one cannot expect really 20kmpl.
Just for compariosn, 20KMPL is easily managed in Altok10 on Highways and 14kmpl inside city all with same AC usage said above.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride seems just okay, Unblanced at times, Front is firm and Rear is soft, Problem is solved when you have two rear passengers. Skinny Tyres are icing on cake to it. LOL. While low speed(upto60kmph) is good, post 60kmph things arent the way you like, Rear moves up and down giving feeling of disconnection with front. Yet Body roll is well controlled and it can take a curve at 80kmph which is breeze in Ford Ikon, Nightmare in Indica and Turtle in Tata 207.
Final Words With Grand i10 , This i10 may take a slowdown in sales chart. However, The compact Dimesnions yet Roomy Interiors and great visibility coupled with Kappa2 Engine Performance and great NVH makes it Perfect Comfortable City Ride. Opt for i10 if usage is inside city(read 90% city).
Areas of improvement Working with listed cons. The Grand i10 covers almost all the areas for improvements.

Am getting 12KMPL in bangalore city with 70% AC and 16 on highway with 100% AC
Ride Quality & Handling
A bit bumpy when there are only 2 passengers. But thats common with every other hatchback I guess.
Final Words
I am the second owner of the car. I feel I made a wrong decision by choosing this car. I am 5ft 4inches in height and I feel the car to be highly uncomfortable to drive at heavy traffic conditions. Currently I drive it in Bangalore. The reason being the high position of brake. I have tried to pull back the seat but that has not helped. My ankle remains almost in 70 degree when driving in traffic since the feet has to be on brake at slow speeds. That makes it soo uncomfortable to drive that I literally need to take breaks to rest my feet. While buying the car nowhere I could find any reviews about this problem. So want to make people aware about the problem.

I had booked Santro before, but when I test drove I10, I felt the difference right from sitting into the car to driving it. Unlike santro, it didnt have any engine vibration in the gear stick. Beige interiors gives a luxury car feel. I have been told that its mileage will be 15+kmpl with A/C. Waiting for Hyundai to deliver my car. I have purchased Champagne Gold color Era.
It has got Tilt steering, front power windows, internally adjustuble rearview side mirrors with A/C & Heater. Very smooth engine and easy to handle.
Interiors are really eye catching.Price.Exterior/Styles

Hi
I intended to purchase Wagon R Vxi but I was really impressed with the inside space and the solid guage strenght of body of i10 Magna Champange Colour is really good but despite all goods it has a very less protected radiator and front part of engine even a collision with scooter may damage the vital front parts of engine and milage of i10 is also not good I suggest that if you want to have a car may be expensive to buy but cheap to drive in indian conditions Wagon R Vxi despite its old technology and cheap parts and good performace with CNG are to be considered first not go by looks only furthermore the availability of service stations of Maruti is also good to sum up Hyundai guys must protect their i10 engine radiation from front side and must work on providing CNG compatibility in Kappa engine as at present petrol prces in gurgaon you cant afford to run this beuty at Rs 4.30 per km againt CNG wagon R at 1.20 paisa hence guys think and decide. If any one can guide me about getz prime 1.1l performace and milegae plzz
Good maneoveribilty and agility and space for driverworst milage no protection of engine radiation except Fibre bumperExterior/Styles
