If you are in the market for an automatic hatchback, then Nios is a most value for money option. I was in the market 2 months back for an auto hatch. I have considered following options - 1) Figo AT - A powerful car (90ps), but AT variant (1.5L) is costlier and city driveability is not that gr8. 2) Ignis AMT - A nice city car, but Rear look is a dealbreaker. If not for nios, then I would have gone with zeta amt variant. 3) Swift AMT - An all round package, but zxi amt comes at the same price of sportz amt, and sportz amt definitely has an edge over swift zxi. And all black interior is a bit claustrophobic for me, also interior quality is not that great. 4) Tiago AMT - 3 cylinder engine is not as smooth and refined as its 4 cylinder counterpart. Then comes the all new nios in Aug 2019. Though it is not a perfect car but it's pros definitely outweighs cons. Pros - a) Looks - Its a subjective matter, but one cant deny that its a looker with its boomerang shaped daytime running lights. b) Interior - Most premium interior in cars below 10 lacs. Feels a segment above. c) 1.2 vtvt - A gem, with powerful mid punch. d) AMT - My main reason to choose nios over swift. Nios amt is way more smoother than that of maruti's. e) Fuel economy - Unlike grand i10, Nios gives fuel economy around 14 in city and around 20 on highway without AC f) Seat comfort - No fatigue in long drives. g) Touch screen infotainment with its IRVM feature. h) Rear AC vent Cons - a) Fixed Headrest b) Initial engine punch is not that gr8 as that of swift. c) 14 inch tyres for sportz, while ignis has 15 inch tyres right from base model. So as I said, pros outweigh cons for a petrol amt grand i10 nios.

There is issue with the car with regard to CNG. when you start the car, it will turn on to CNG after few minutes and as soon as it turn on to CNG, the engine will turn off. This issue is there from last 2 months and as per the authorised CNG centre of Hyundai, they are working on the update which is still in progress.

I bought this car in September 2020 and drove it till October end with no issues. Started facing issue of vibration and engine shut off after switch to CNG. After multiple visit to service center and complaining to Hyundai, vibration issue is better but CNG remains. I have to drive 6-8 km before resolving this issue. This is my first car and I am very much shattered with the performance. If I can get my money back by returning this car, please help me. Thanks and Regards

I purchased it in September 2021,Buying experience was very good . car has very sporty design and good features. Engine is underpowered. Giving 16 km/l in city and 18-19 on highway. Suspension is not good. You will experience it. Its uncomfortable on small bumps or potholes. When I went to service centre for 1st service they gave me car in 3 days. After 4 months I am getting sounds from gear system, so i went to service centre and they kept the car and after 2 days they told there is a problem in gears system we will replace it after 15 days and car was very dirty and i found out there are scratches on dashboard.so i am not hapoy with it.

The ergonomics of the driver and front passenger seats is POOR. Gives you a backache - a terrible one. The reason is possibly the upward inclination of the seat pan, about which you cannot do anything. The rest of the features of the car are good. I would NOT recommend this car ONLY due to the bad styling of the front seats - as I said, rest of the features are good - but what's the point if you land up with a physiotherapist for sorting out your backache!

One of the worst experience, I am facing. I was happy driving it initially, but now I found something shocking. I have observed that few spare parts are rusted / old used spare part are being used in my new Nios sports amt. trying to contact hyundai people since morning but none of them are replying me. I have purchased it on 3rd jan 2020 but within 2 days came to know the reality of hyundai India.

Buying experience, engine smoothness, refinement, driving all are good. No complaints except known reverse gear issue. The reverse gear issue is annoying, and every time when you need to put into reverse, you need to go to first or some other gear and then reverse. Cannot engage directly in R. Also sometimes the reverse gear makes some noise and will get stuck. Gave it to service center and got a response that this is a known issue (not an issue, but by design - According to Hyundai)

What I have dreamed of I have purchased that only and I was very clear that as per my convenience I want to opt that particular variant which I didn't bother to deviate and negotiate at any price point secondly what attracted me was the performance and driving dynamics of this car and Hyundai has served me a well satisfactory assistance which quite impressed me to buy....

I've bought it in Lucknow. It is one of the most amazing cars I've ever seen. Its sports AMT variant is really smooth in driving.As well as it also has a powerful engine with a smoothness. The interior is really good and looks like a premium car Hyundai has done a really great job in finishing.AC is much better as to vends are also given in the rear seats. The boot space of 256 liters is enough for a normal family. I am only disappointed by the headlamps because we are getting Projectors only in the top model of this car. But overall for a city purpose, it is best in the segment. THANK YOU
