Exterior I have purchased my car from Popular Hyundai, I purchased it on December 2015. When I ordered the car I asked them how old it will be. They told maximum one month. So I was expecting a car manufactured on November, but I got a car manufactured on April. I had purchased an i10 earlier and had no issues. So didn't suspect anything will wrong. So I received a car that is already 8 months old. Once I reached home I realized that Air filter pipe is damaged and lot of corrossion on the parts of Engine. Also they haven't done underbody coating they have offered to me. I had got this written in paper while I ordered the car but it was not done. After a lot of fight at the time of first service these issues resolved. But when I gave for 1st service(I gave this purposefully in their another showroom so I got the the info that underbody coating is not done). The problems doesn'e ends here, when I gave for first service I realized that the delivery date of my car is 31-Aug-2015. The actual delivery date is 19-Dec-2015. This issue is not yet resolved even I had registered complaint with Hyundai. So they had made a delivery on 31-Aug-2015 in someone else name to make a fake sales figure. So I even suspect their sales figures are wrong since they sold the same car twice. I liked the car very much but I have faced lot of issues with the dealer. When you purchase a car make sure you done pre delivery inspection. Once you received the car you cannot do anything. Even I registered a compaint with Hyndai nothing is done apart from a 5000Rs cash back offer that I haven't accepted yet. So better you don't purchae a car from Popular Hyundai or please beware of all these issues.

So the issues for me is since it's manufacturing date is April when I sell I will get less price. Lot of time I had to spent to get parts replaced. Also if they don't reolve the delivery date issue I will get less warranty period only.

Good space and StyleProblems from Dealer

Exterior: Looks like a successor of i20. It hardly resembles anything near i10. I think  i20 didn't do that well in the market as compared to i10 and hence Hyundai must have decided to name this model as Grand i10 rather than a calling it something like a mini i20. Exterior looks are fresh and the curved tail lamps simply glorify the looks of the car. Bumper guards missing in all variants of the Grand. For City use Bumper guards is really useful stuff. Also Door guards should have been standard across all variants.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Grand i10 has been very generous in terms of both Seating and Boot space. I was initially planning for a sedan car but after the Grand was launched changed my mind looking at the space. Opted for Magna version instead of Sportz and Asta variants because the company music system was not sounding that great. If someone plans to upgrade the integrated Music system later to a better one then that’s definitely going to be a task. Not saying that the company music system is really bad, but listening to music is a personal choice and I preferred to get one fitted from outside. I also preferred to stick with the Standard keyless entry as opposed to the Push Start button mechanism(Not a big deal even Buses/Trucks have Push Start mechanisms). Rear AC vent is good but not that great also. The force of air coming through the rear vent is much less as compared to the Front ones. This is because there is no dedicated blower at the rear, it’s just an extension of the Front vents.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: For petrol engine the proven 1.2 Kappa engine was used. Completed my First service at about 1300 kms. Fuel Economy about 15 kmpl. This is decent keeping in mind the power it delivers.   Gear shifting is really very smooth making the driving experience less exhausting in traffic conditions.

Ride Quality & Handling: Ride quality is Good. Suspension decent but not the best. Handling is excellent while driving on curvy roads.

Final Words: If someone is planning for a small car or even a mid-size sedan, this is definitely a choice to consider. Overall great value for money .If you looking for all Features then Go for Asta variant else Magna variant has most of the utility features.

Exterior Good, not Excellent compare to new models of i20.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent, it has nice featues and apt for my family.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent, driven 500+ kms and has very nice experience overall.

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent.

Final Words Best car i used ever, its best car for family of 5 members. It has got very good drive control in curves and turns. Love to drive in grand i10.

Areas of improvement Infortion system can be improved, folding back seat could have allow more space.

Good Drive experience in city and Highwaynothing as of now

Exterior Its been 3 weeks since I have received my i10 magna and it ha been great. I cannot count how many people have apprcited the car. Especially the color, mine is wine red. The fluidic desicn just captures attention. The back hood has bee designed really well. It marks the difference between i10 and the grand. From the back the car looks just awesome. 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Fantastic interiors, It is spacious and great foot room. both the front and back seats have good leg room and it makes driving a pleasure. Boot space is really good and boot space light is a good feature.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox So far I have just loved the drive and the performance of the vehicle. The gear box has some slight roughness transitioning to a few selected gears but over time it should smoothen out. The Kappa 1.2 engine is excellent

Ride Quality & Handling Brilliant. Smooth, At the time of writing this my wife is 7 months pregnant and I live in an area with not so good roads. Her feedback is that it is mighty smooth than our previous rides.

Final Words It  was a tough choice to go for a grand i10 as there were not many in my friend/family/friend of friends circle who had i10 grand but the looks and the features were pulling. My family has stuck to maruthi since the beginning. It was not easy to move away from maruthi. People told me that maruthi maintenance is cheap, maruthi is made for indian roads, you gt a service centre anywhere. Since I travel alot by road with my family I wanted to stick on to these points. But as far as I have seen Hyundai is no equivalent in service and maintenance.Getting a 1200 cc car which is bigger than the i10 and priced lesser than the swift and ritz were pulling factors. Comapared to the Era version the magna had a host of features added just for 20k. So I went for the Magna. NO regrets and very happy with it.

Buy the car from a well established dealer who has a good service facility. I was adviced this from one review in Carwale where the gentleman had to go back to the service station multiple times due to inexpertise of the service executives and work men

Areas of improvement Fog Lamps I find are more like parking lights, Just add to the stlyling but not very effective. Factory installed horn is weak and I will definitely have to get that changed. Car accessories were not available (Mysore) and even now are hard to fid. I still have not got my mud flaps and floor mats(basic stuff).

Exterior

 The overall exterior is up to mark and it looks much better than some of the hatch back cars selling in this segment. The back view is different and it looks like an smaller version of an luxury car. The body design, head lamp, tail lamp, handles, micro antenna looks like made for Grand i1o only and it fits well with the car.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Magna is the second version and it has almost all basic features other than Music system and parking sensor and I added music system from Sony and Video parking camera to fulfill the same. The space, comfort and seats are well placed and does not give a compact car feel while 5 people are inside car. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 The Engine performance is up to the mark as per a 1200CC engine and it gives required power as per the need. Gear box position and the shifting of gear make the driving easy. Steering is electrical motor driven and driving with it gives pleasure though there is scope of improvement. My Vehicle gives mileage 11KM/lit (Petrol) inside city which will improve after 1st service. Brakes are a plus factor that adds up to safety.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Comfortable ride inside city ( I have not taken to NH) and Handling is good where as there is scope of improvement which will make it a more smiles on road while driving.

Final Words

I own the car since 21st Sept 2013 and I find the Grand i10 a Descent family hatch back that appears as a mini version of some luxury car and is gives you back the value for money. 

Areas of improvement  

 1. Tail lamp cover fades and gives a dull look.

2. Battery was getting discharged ( strange for a new car) if car stays for 3 days without running and as there was some oversupply of current to Instrument Cluster( where you have tachometer, trip meter etc.) and that was draining battery. They have upgraded the firmware of cluster after complain but still I need to test it again by putting car 6 days at home without running. This seems a serious defect (as you need to push the car to start) and Hyundai should voluntarily upgrade without waiting for customer complain. 

3. The fixed Back could have been replaced with adjustable head rest.

4. The city mileage should be improved.

5. I got fitted my mud flaps after 2 months because it was not available. this calls for an improvement.

 

6. Its already 4 months since lunch and no accessories are available with dealer. So, need to be more proactive to get accessories in the first month of launch

The Exterior is greaty for the price you pay, its nice looking and modern.

Interior is good, however I have the leather seats, I dont like the material seats in this car.

this car is very comfortable, has enough features, everything you should need, and the space-even boot space is enough for me, I took it shopping for christmas things and coudl fit all of my stuff in the boot.

the engine Performance is good, exactly what you woudl expect of a little cart like this.its not the very fastest, but then its not what the car is ment for.its small and economical, pulls away fast enough for me, its all you need.

Fuel Economy im still busy measuring, the tank is lasting me quite long so far, happy so far.it will definately be a cost saver, i can see it already.

the quality and handling on this car i reckon is great, it feels like good quality,the car is insulated well and has little to no noise and drives effortlessly without any rattling-problems.

i have weighed up the pro's and cons on this car against others like the picanto, aygo, micra,and etios, i prefer the grand i10, and i love it so much, its the best you can get for this price, and you wont be dissapointed.

if any improvement were to be made on this car, i think rear park sensors should be added without the extra cost, LED fog lights to be added,and perhaps cruise control..then this will be my dream car:). But for now its awsome.

I love the interior and level of comfortThe ads show that the car comes with LED fog lights, however it doesnt. dissapointing

Buying experience: I wanted a hatchback with some practical features and i chose grand i10 instead of swift for the back seat space and it was much better than most of maruti cars The hyundai dealers were very humble to talk to and it was an overall exiting and happy buying experience of my grand i10
Riding experience: The ride quality is excellent as this is my first ever car and i learnt driving after buying this car and it was so easy to handle and maneuver this car in any kind of condition whether its city traffic or long silent roads. It was always upto the mark . I usually travel with 5 people in it without any problem whatsoever in long drives.
Details about looks, performance etc: The looks could have been better if the bonut would have been a longer one. Overall the rear of the car looks sexier than any other hatchback. The performance of the car is awesome it doesnt matter how many people are sitting or it it overloaded i never feel any kind of suspicious lags in the car.
Servicing and maintenance: the service cost is little high because it is a petrol car it costs around 4200 yearly including gst.
Pros and Cons: biggest problem of the car:- very low ground clearance It might be good for the cities but once you enter any rural areas the car would definitely touch the ground once or twice . Best car if its ground clearance is improved, much better than swift and tiago.

Exterior Modern & fresh design, resembles i20 & i10, compact engine gives ample room inside..even better than Swift

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Feature packed hatchback.. i dont think any other hatchback comes with such brilliant fetaures at this price point.. never feels like you are inside a hatchback once you enter the car.. dashboard are dual tone..solid material quality.. space has been optimally design to give comfort and plce holders.. even the back seat is well positioned to provide great comfort to the back passengers... first time we see rear vent AC.. AC is amazingly cool and fast.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is calm and peppy. You press the accelerator and it surges into power, pick up is great. Gear box is smooth (somtimes it feels little cluttered, may be because i am first time driver). Fuel economy is not tested but pre-first service mileage is not that great thou, hopefully after the first service it might gets better, sometimes you dont even realise engine is on and running. Its so smooth.

Ride Quality & Handling Very smooth ride quality, handling is fantastic, steering is responsive, when the car is running beyond 80kmphr it is fun to drive.

Final Words I think this is the most feature packed hatchback with fine tuned engine. Great quality materials used. you feel great when you ride. if you are looking for a premium hatchback.. this is the one.

Areas of improvement AC noise at higher mode, Fuel economy may be better (thou it is early for me to comment), currently getting 10-12 kmpl in city. This is my first car. waiting to see the mileage after first service. hope should get better. Bring in some saftey features.

Exterior  very nice. my dream car. welcomed by all family friends. one freind has already decided to purchase it very shortly.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox very smooth. at 100kms/hr speed also run very smoothly. no cabin sound & external sound. no vibration at all. my car giving milage more than 18km/leter.

 

Ride Quality & Handling very powerfull with even at full capacity load.

Areas of improvement . driver side door switch controll panal is not acccessible at night comfortably during driving.
