Exterior Beautiful modern design, great color options. I have the blue one and it really screams, "LOOK AT ME!!"
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Great 2 tone color scheme, excellent modern feel and contouring. I love the fact that they replaced the ashtrays with cup holders (I don't smoke obviously) The interior is surpisingly spacious. I gave some friends a ride home from church and they didn't think they were going to fit. When they got in they were pleasantly surprised at the leg room and width of the back seat. Leather/cloth combination is very stylish and hugs you in your seat.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox My other car is a '94 325i BMW, so its not like I'm impressed with the engine performance, but it is absolutely acceptable, accelerating very comfortably. The economy is better than several Hybrid vehicle owners that I am friends with and they are already having trouble with the batteries in this hot climate. I couldn't be happier on that account! The gearbox changes are very soft and comfortable and the fact that the dashboard tells you when to change gears is simply ideal. This vehicle was advertised at 80 km/galon, and so far that is what I'm seeing.
Ride Quality & Handling Very comfortable ride, and the handling is very responsive. Good turn radious makes it easy to park, and the smaller size (in relation to sedans and larger vehicles) is another huge plus when looking for parking.
Final Words Great vehicle. Smart choise.
Areas of improvement Work out the shaking in the shifter on future models! I've already stopped noticing, but during the "Making the decision" stage of buying the vehicle it was a factor against.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort):Stuffed with good features but we have to compromise for space and comfort
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox:Initial pick up is low,so frequent gear changing is required ,Engine vibration levle is high.May be good in milage ,Gear shifting is not smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling:Good suspension but overall handling is sluggish (may be again due to lack of power)
Final Words:I am an hyundai lover we have verna and santro which are good vehicles.
I was having grat expectations from eon but disappointed.
Areas of improvement :-Engine performance , as Hyundai is having good engines in all its models.
If hyundai can upgrade the model by reconstructing these errors the this vehicle will be best in value for money.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox less power when AC is on,gear rod is a bit vibrating,good fuel efficient car.i have checked the mileage before my first servicing as it is giving 16.67 kmpl.

Final Words see pros n cons will be there for any car u take.but i sugest u that this is a best car for 2+1 SMALL FAMILY for city users.nothing more to expect for this money.good car to buy when u want to spend below 4 Lacs.
Areas of improvement power of engine when AC on.should have given 4 speakers instead of 2 at the front.few inches leg room for rear passengers as the space is a bit low (4-5)inches,luggage boot space can be reduced.

Exterior is good nice look seeting comfort in style peakup is bit nerves but even how overall value for money but price is bit high when compare to 800 cc segment. should be good for first car customers.

Additionally, its dual toned interiors are expected to be comfortable and spacious.Hyundai Eon follows Hyundai's latest fluidic design philosophy and it is the best looking hatchback in its class Hyundai Eon looks best when viewed from side angle; it has many curves and flowing lines which looks very unique and different in comparison to other bland looking hatchbacks in this class like Chevrolet Spark, Maruti Alto and Tata Nano.

Final Words Maruti Suzuki enjoys a current market share of 48.74% amidst many global players clobbering Indian market. This was possible because, it had first mover advantage in each of the car segments with hot selling products like Maruti 800 (not for sale in 13 cities) and other cars like Maruti Esteem & Maruti Zen which is not available currently in market. But MUL could comfortably enjoy its dominance with leading market share with products like Swift and Alto, which is MUL’s global top selling product and top selling car in India. Both Esteem and Zen were stopped by MUL not because it was a failure product but due to saturation of markets. The same might happen to Alto with the entry of new cars in A2 segment.
Now MUL is slightly facing the heat from its direct competitor Hyundai Motors after the launch of Eon in its A2 segment category. Eon which is priced 3.16 Lacs (ex-show room price) is equated just little high next to alto which is 2.89 Lacs (ex-show room price). There was slight slowdown Alto’s booking and sales ever since HMIL announce the launch of its new product Eon.
Alto had a strong presence in the market for more than a decade and its shape is slightly outdated with new small cars like Spark, Beat, Polo, Micra entering Indian market. Preference towards Alto by the younger generation is gradually declining for the past two years because of its out dated shape. That’s one of the reasons for MUL to come up with re-design of Alto with better interior and exterior looks and K series engine.
Though Eon has a stylish fluidic design and dual tone interior designs, its build quality is not convincing compared to Alto. The added feature in Eon is it has self colored bumper which is not available in Alto. Alto’s engine cc is 796 and Eon is 814 cc, which results in better engine performance and driving comfort. The power of Eon is 56 PS which again ahead of Alto’s 47 PS. HMIL claims Eon’s mileage to be 21.7 KMPL, whereas MUL claims 19.73 KMPL. Each and every component is well targeted by HMIL and Eon has been designed and positioned with better quality parameters. HMIL plans to produce 1.5 lac cars per year as the demand for the small segment car is expected to increase in the future. Alto K-series has slightly better parameters compared to Eon.
While Hyundai’s products are known for better ride quality and smooth drive, MUL is the most trusted brand in Indian car market. Maruti Suzuki ranks No.1 in terms of after sales service and has largest number of dealers and service centers around India. In case of breakdown and availability of spares on highways and rural areas, Maruti is the preferred brand among Indian drivers. Though the production of Maruti Esteem, Zen (old model) and Baleno has been stopped its spare parts are still available in all regions where other manufacturers doesn’t have proper distribution setup of their genuine spare parts.

Iteriors suprub and luxerious , space & comfort is ok for this segment have good boot space. This car canot be comperable with maruti 800 or K. even it is better car than i10 and santro in all respect.

Engine performance is good not making any noise, Fuel Economy is ok, for me it giving 15 km/l in city & 17 on haiways, but my friends tellleng that, it is giving 18-20 km/l, may be it depends on style of driving, there is no problem regarding gearbox

Riding is comfortable, smooth and handling is easy, as a beginer i enjoyed in riding this car

I feel except white and mushroom colour, other colours are not so attrativive, need to improve or develop other attractive colours as in case of other models in hyndai and ford cars.

No words!!!.Hyundai team have done a very nice job.It's body trims and fluidic design is a feast to eyes. Very cute looking car. Ladies will definitely love it .Ways ahead to maruti.

Very nice compared to other rivel models.Sufficient boot space.Expect back row seat should need slight more leg room.But any way good job by hyundai. very Spacious front seats similar to 1 20.

Excellent even compared to i 10.Even at high speeds, i really wondered how nicely car can be handled. i have driven i20 and i 10. But i really like this car.

i could n't believe it's an entry level car .A nice product from Hyundai in the class of 800 cc.Really a good winner and will rocks in the 800 cc segment.No doubt.

Vibrations in gear to reduce.Give slighly more power abt 60Bhp @ 5500 rpm.slighly more rear leg room.

Exterior Exteriors of car is good. Headlights, rear lights are good to see for the price of this car. Easily the best looking car in this segment.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is good at the rear seat for average India height persons. I like the entire dashboard.. the steering, instrument cluster, music system etc. Boot space is also decent.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I test drove this car..and just in small drive found that there is lot of engine sound audible in the cabin. Lot of vibrations in the gear handle. With A?C on, the car feels very weak on power in lower gear. I had to shift to first gear often at lower speed. I drive a 800 as of now and the cabin feels lot more silent than EON.
Ride Quality & Handling Even the ride quality is not good for EON. Below Maruti 800 again. Steering also didn't feel good enough. Was too hard at lower speed.
Final Words I was planning to buy this car as I currentlydrive maruti 800. But after the test drive.. it feels that 800 is far better that EON and it is a waste of money to go for it. I will prefer any other car.. but not EON.
