My Eon Era+ is now 1 & 1/2 month old

Exterior

Very stylish body, look like verna, back side is awesome from near only, if you look from little distance you can imagine that i could be better.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Very comfortable, specious enough for five peoples. Good AC, good heater, good in dash music system (cd, usb, aux, FM), 12v outlet, arm rest, front power windows are also very good. Missing the back power windows. Nice dashboard.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Engine is good enough. It needs littel press on the acceleretor to move from 1st gear as it is on 800 cc car. My cars gears are so smooth. No vibration at all. Also the engine is super silent. Sometimes i confuse wheather engine is running or not. I am talking about the idle state, when waiting in signals. Pick up is good without ac. Very bad power in 2nd gear when ac is on. I have not checked the fuel economy yet. I filled total 2000 rupees petrol and driven 318 kms till now.

Ride Quality & Handling

Ride is smooth no body vibration. Comfortable driving experience. Handling is good in 80 kmph also. Breaks are good. My stearing also comes to middle automatically (i did not knew that this happens in all cars). The main problem i getting is the big grrr sound (not from engine) when i drive my car above 60kmpr in a bend road (roads one side is little higher then the other side). Any one facing this issue? 2nd problem is gear indicators are not indicating me any numbers.

Final Words

I have also purchased this car (ERA+) one and half month back in 4 lakhs. This is my 1st car. And i am a lerner. I was afraid to buy Eon after reading all negative feedbacks, now i become confident that this is a good car at all. Why a new car can have defects like used cars. The gear vibration was ther in older cars. 2014 cars don't have this problem. Hyundai has ratified this problem. This car is very good with this price range.

Areas of improvement  

Tachometer, rear defogger, rear wiper, front & rear adjustable head rests, rear power windows & ABS needed.
