Exterior Exterior looks nice. The Main thing that will attract you while you look at the car is the Head light. It looks really big. And the car looks wide from the front. From the side it will look as a nicely designed entry segment car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior look very modern. Everything seems perfectly fitted at the right place. Very comfortable seating arrangement while driving. Both the front seats can be adjusted for the rear seat passengers to have enough leg room. Very tall people may find it uncomfortable since their knee may tough the front seat. For all others its going to be nice. The seat is good and the comfort while sitting on the back is decent.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I find the engine to be silent. Not any issue with the engine. There is issue with the gear knob. It keeps vibrating. It's not a major issue if you're not driving keeping your hand over the gear knob. While changing gear you'll not feel it much.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good. The suspension is great. It will not throw you up while you go move over humps even if you don't slow down that much. The steering is ok, even though it's not that great. If you wish to change lanes and squeeze through the space availalble i do feel it's still slightly slow. In this area Eon is the best, since it's a small car.
Final Words A comfortable car. Best suited for city performance.

Areas of improvement May be the steering is made keeping in mind city riding condition. But slight improvement can be made here and also the vibration of the gear knob. Slight reduction in prices to negate the recent price hike.

Exterior I have purcahsed EON Era in December 2011, and was eagerly waiting for it. I am already having a DZIRE VDI, but i want a small Petrol car for city Driving. EON looks fabulous from outside, its a head turner in small car segment, its body coloured bumpers gives a superb feel.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) As soon as you enter in the car you will feel that you have entered its two tone interiors gives you a feel of C-segment Luxary car. Initially the plastic looked good but now its some what fading, specially that portion of dashboard, which directly comes under the sun light, both front and rear seats are very comfortable, and 4 persons can sit very comfortably a third person in the second row will make it little bit uncomfortable, but it will be ok for a short ride upto 60 -70 kms.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very responsive but it lacks some power when gear is shifted to third from second, as soon as you will reach at top gear then no looking behind. There is some problem with the gear box, Hundai Engineers should look into it as it is little harder then Santro and Alto. Fuel economy is excellent it gives a decent mileage of 16 kmpl in city like Lucknow and 20 kmpl on highways with ac on. Its gear Indicator helps in getting a good mileage. Its Power Steering is very responsive and a boon for a city ride. The radius of the Steering is little more than even my DZIRE so it gives a feeling of driving a big car.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good I have driven it for few thousand kilometres and i have also ran it upto 140 km/hr on Delhi -Kanpur Highway and you will not belive it was just gliding on the road without any trouble, it was so comfortablely running that i did not realized that i was driving it at such a high speed, suddenly when i saw the speedometre then i found that it was superbly running around 140. I have also taken it to interior areas and found that it becomes little uncomfotable there in village roads, but no issues as its a car made for city ride and not for villages.
Final Words Overall a very good car for a city ride, I recommend it for first time car buyers also. the after sales service of Hundai is as good as maruti, but the parts of Hundai cars are expensive then Maruti cars.

I got my Eon Era+ on 14th Sep13.
Exterior
Everybody can see it and exterior is good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Interior and seating is good. I am 5.7 so it is good for me. Rear seat width and height is better than Alto800. Rear seat has small head support. Due to comfort i chose EON over Alto800.Gear change indicator is good option.

For first week : i filled 800rs petrol(approx 9.5 liters) at that time my first fuel light was blinking and when it stated blinking again my meter was showing approx 80 kms. Sometimes i used AC also.It means approx 9KM/L mileage. Mostly i drove in my society on open roads but it was semi learning phase for me as a driver as i was driving after a long time. I was very sad to see this, i started reading reviews online and found other people are also getting 10KM/L. I thought i made a bad decision by preferring EON over Alto.
Second Week: I again filled 500 Rs petrol(approx 6 liters) while first fuel indicator was blinking. For two days i went to office one side (22KM) so total 88 KM and some small trips nearby. In morning while going to office there was very less traffic and i drove mostly in 3rd and 4th gears. While returning at 7-8pm roads were packed traffic was at its peak, mostly i drove in 1,2 and 3rd gears(Sometimes 4th also). I didn't use AC but sometimes used only AC fan. so i covered 90+Kms in 6 liters means approx 15-16 KM/L mileage.
Morning less traffic and evening full traffic, so we can say average city traffic. Now i was little relieved regarding mileage. I am hopeful that i would get 21-22 KM/L on highways w/o AC. I have also heard that mileage improves after 2-3 sevices.
One thing i read about gear knob vibrations, in my car it never vibrates. Sometimes i feel difficulty in changing gears but Hyundai say it will be smoother after few days and service.
For better mileage, i suggest do not keep your foot on clutch while driving unless it is required.
Final Words
I preferred EON due to its better space and specially rear seat comfort. If you are ok with Alto800 rear seat and height, you can choose alto with company fitted CNG.
Areas of improvement
Better suspension.
I am not able to see bonnet, i prefer bonnet visibility for confident driving.

Exterior Looks are grat when we compare with other car of this segment and even with the Wagon-Rs or i10s.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are beautifull and great though it feels less spacious but is good overall, ideal for small faily or when one drives it alone mostly. Boot space is very big in the segment. interiors gives you a feel lke a big car unlike the alto or santro where interiors are like some year old designs.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I did not feel any problem with gearbox as seen in some other reviews, it is smooth and gives a good feel, engine performance is also ok.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent and simply superb.
Final Words Every car is for a partcular user-typed and Eon Suits my needs perfectly.
Areas of improvement AC should be more powerfull, and the overspacious Boot space can be used to increase Rear legroom.

I bought this car one month back. I did all the pre delivery check. Just one thing i noticed then that one live plant was growing from inside of the back door. I thought that it can not hurm my car. I purchead the car. Every things are okay. But now i found that one rat is inside the car. And it is starting eating plastics of my car from inside. I used rat kill, lal hit spray to kill the rat. Few weeks gone. I thought rat is dead. But again i noticed rats toilet remains. Again he started eating my car. I am not able to locate where he is hiding. When i start the ac, full car fils with rat smell. What to do? Any advice how to kill the rat.
I like my car. It is stylish, comfortable. No gear or body vibration. I have not checked the milage yet. Only one problem may be in my car. When i drive the car above 60kmph and the road is bend (roads left side is higher then the right side) i hear a big grrrrrrr sound. Like two running parts are touching each other. When road is flat the sound goes. What to do? I have driven my car 250 kms till now. Any body experiencing this problem ?

Exterior Best, in fact even better than many other in higher categories like !10 or I 20... i10/ I 20 have a much flat exterior look, wagon R or Alto is no where in comparison to this cars exterior.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Except for the back seating where its a crunch for 3 people 2 sit , its good for 2 people or a 3rd child. (Guess this is trhe only drawback of this car).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine definitely vibrates considering it is only 800-1000 power range, gearbox is ok not taht great, fuel economy as any otehr car is much better when non stop running, in city the car eats up more.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality definitely smooth, even for longer journey.
Final Words Go for it f your budget is not that high, or if you are a first timer. May not be suitable for family of more than 4.

Exterior Its a nice exterior and no negative points on that side. I felt its a combination of fluidic verna & i10. Its exterior design is good in its class.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior looks cool and well arranged with dual tome colour. Tachometer should have added more beauty to the dashboard. When coming to space & comfort i can say it as nice SMALL FAMILY CAR. It will easily accomodate 4 people (2 on back who are of normal body size, hope u got what i mean). If u are trying to pack 3 on back for a long journey, it will be tight packed. Driver is having a nice leg room with tiltable steering, but Co- driver seat should also have been given a nice leg room, if they we able to move that glove box to another area or modify it. All the switches are easily accesible as in other cars. One thing i noticed is that its seating position is bit low when compared to others and have enough head room for 6' feet person like me (Can't say its having spacious headroom when compared to tall boy designs, but its pretty descent among its competitors).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox We can specifically rate it as small family car, which is good in handling and doing his job when riding it in a normal way (No harsh downshifting to overtake or so). while going desently in 50 Km, i downshifted it from 4th to 3rd gear for seeing its performance (eventhough showroom people already advised, not to do that since it's not meant for that type) only change i felt was increase in noise of engine, also felt the 3 Cylinder engine was struggling to cope up with that. Dont know why they had gone for 3 Cylinder 814 CC engine, when its competitors are having 4Cylinder engines. 3 Cylinder engine also reducing the chance to upgrade it to LPG also. Hope hyundai will come soon with a 4 Cylinder one.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality was good, but shocks need to refined. its fails to some extent when traveling in very rough roads, which are full of poth holes ( very common in our country. 😊 ) . More refined shocks will take it to next level of riding experience for back seat passangers. Handling seems to be good, even in sudden braking also, car is well with in our control.
Final Words Overall its a nice family, (4 members) who are not intrested in harsh driving like I mentioned above. Also its price tag is bit high ( for higher end models) & getting very close to other models from same manufacturer and that will tempt people to move away from it (due to reasons like more space, better 4 cylinder engine & other extra features available on spending little more thousands).
Areas of improvement Engine upgradation to 4 Cylinder, Stereos system with 4 Speakers, Better leg room for co passenger, More refined shocks.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Up to models costing 3 lacs, engine is sufficient. however, sportz it should be i10 engine as the costs are very near to honda brio having 4 cylnder superlative engine. also to add more glamour, xenon lamps should be offered for sports model in addtion to 2nd air bag. by doing so, it will not only wipe out altos but shall also gate crash in to brio,s teritory. please also make gearbox cable operated.
Ride Quality & Handling More than adequate.
Final Words Young india should purchase this car to encourage hyundai to become bolder during their future launches.
Areas of improvement make changes as suggested above. if you could add oil switch of feature while deaccelerating/stopping, it will suppliment your effort to make this car most efficient in its catagory. your efforts to stop battery charging during acceleration/power demand. Are praise worthy. also, you should offer tubeless tyres with alloy wheels for sports model.
