Exterior Without a thought, its the most stylish looking car in its category, especially appealing to the younger crowd.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors have an upmarket feel about them, the 2 tone interiors offer a refreshing change from those seen in the Alto. While front legroom seems to be ok, rear legroom as well as shoulder room seems to be deficient. 3 adults would be a tight squeeze at the back. Boot space seems good enough for a car of these dimensions.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox While quite manageable for drives within the city, overtaking other vehicles is an issue. The engine lacks the grunt & power to effortlessly overtake while driving in the 4th gear. There is a lot of jerkiness experienced while shifting up from 1st to 2nd gear, which the according to the service centre guys is an inherent problem with 800 cc engines.
Ride Quality & Handling Due to the tiny 12 inch wheels on D-lite+ variant, the bumps & potholes on the road are easily felt. Quite nimble while tackling corners & the power steering is very responsive, thereby resulting in ease of parking in tight spaces as well.
Final Words Its a perfect compact car for any first time buyer, looking to drive mainly in the city itself, well suited for a small family of a couple & 2 kids.
Areas of improvement The engine could have packed in some extra punch, rear legroom needs to be improved. I feel both the driver & passenger side ORVMs should be offered as standard fitment on all cars.
Stylish exterior, upmarket look of the interiors, decent boot space, responsive power steering,Rear legroom, no passenger ORVM (on D-lite+ model), jerks while shifting gearsExterior/Styles

Exterior Exterior of the car attaract you very easily towards the car when i saw the car in show room between verna and i20, I surprised that eon looks are better than verna and i20, eon head lamps bigger than i20 and looks more sporty, even rear view of the car is very very good finally exterior of the car is simply super no other car can beat it in its segment A and segment B-wagonr ,i10, beat.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) After observing exterior of eon i entered into the car what can I say "wow".
Dash board designed very well, center console looks neat and rich, dash board designed with begie and yash colour looks very neat and rich, drivers seat comfort is very good, both front seats are good when we sit in back seat we felt good for our small family 2+2 small children, only two power windows are given overall when i sit inside the car really it gave me a very good experience and makes me feel proud to own a car like this.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I TOOK MORE THAN ONE MONTH TIME TO TAKE THE DECISION WHEN I TAKEN TEST DRIVE THEY GIVEN ME 2011 MODEL CAR, WHILE STARTING THE ENGINE GEARBOX STARTED VIBRATING AND SOUNDS MUCH NOISE (FELT GERKING IN LOW GEARS I THOUGT ITS BECAUSE OF MY DRIVING FAULT AS I AM NEW TO DRIVING CAR ) WHEN I TOOK TEST DRIVE IN ALTO 800 I FELL ENGINE IS MORE RIFINED AND SMOOTH GEAR SHIFT, SO I DISAPPOINTED WITH EON TEST DRIVE.
I started researh about hyundai eon and alto 800 on the internet i found that most of websites like carwale, zingwheels, autocar india, cardekho, gaadi.com and few other websites in all the websites I found that eon is clear winner than alto 800.
So I confused with all these and i asked hyundai car dealer to give test drive of 2013 model eon car the dealer is given a short test drive of 2013 model car which is going to be deleverd other person soon there is lots of difference between 2011 model and 2013 model. I felt 2013 model is more refined and gearbox vibrastions are fully reduced
Finally I taken 4 times test drive of eon car in diffrent place to take decision and I observed that in 2013 model gear vibrastions problem is solved and engine is refined in 2013 model.
Ride Quality & Handling In 2013 model eon car ride quality is very good and handling is very safe and secured in magna+ we get 13 inch wheel base which is equal to i10 and santro so it gives good grip on the road.
Final Words My budget is around 4 lakh and i am looking small car for my family I found eon is best car and make me feel pround own a car like this, we canot expect more in 4 lakh budget car, evey car has its positive and negative points even in BMW, AUDI cars are also having negative reviews. THIS IS BEST VALUE FOR MONEY CAR IN THIS BUDGET EON CAR NEVER FEELS YOU THAT ITS A BUDGET CAR.

Areas of improvement On the first day of the vehicle ride we faced a problem. As there was dealignment problem, rimming sound, we had to get the tyres opened within 3 days of car purchase and found all the tyres rusted. The SAS HYundai service GM Mr Amit says the rust is due to car's idle time at the yard. If in a month's time there is so much rust how can one expect the wheels to be in shape after a year? We even doubt if the engine, gear box, clutch etc are in A1 condition or not.
SAS HY LKO, VP Mr Anupam who was responsible for clearing the car for sales says he cannot do anything. How can Hyundai be so insensitive to female customers, I am old and weak does not mean you can give me trash for my life long saving. This is absolute injustice done to me. I have bought the car for my comfort but can’t use it as Hyundai is still to respond.
The very next day of car purchase the problem occured and we informed them, immediately they should look into our problem and make amends. But No, since they have already received the entire amount they are not doing anything.
When we purchase anything from the market if there is a defect we get it changed but in the case of CAR sale this is not so, I would like this amendment to be brought in. For the lakhs paid, I need a good new car pls arrange to send it immediately.

Exterior: Excellent looks, better than I 10/ I 20
I love the look of the car, it is very compact, zippy for city roads, at the same time economical due to limited power consumption. The Bumper guard, back panel & the side view is better than any sedan,
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Features are as good as any sedan( depends upon which model u take), Spacing is compromised on, especially when you have CNG/LPG cylinder fit behind, it eats up your luggage space, Comfortable for 4, 5 becomes congestion. The dashboard & the stand provided as an added advantage
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Smooth, good, I own a CNG ( co fitted), it gives me excellent mileage. ihave never calculated exact mileage, however if i fill Rs. 150 ( approx 6-8 Kg) CNG, it helps me run more than 3 trips of 80 Kms. Last week, i had driven to Uran from Thane( distance being around 57Kms one way), i just refilled CNG for Rs 200, i was able to go and come back in the same..it is perhaps excellent on mileage
Ride Quality & Handling
Excellent handling especially on city roads..its light weight helps get better pick up, it can be a bane though on mountains or hilly roads
Final Words
It is perhaps the best first car any1 can buy, not too sure why it is not marketed agressively, it surely can beat the average looks of maruti 800
Areas of improvement
The seating space behind can be worked upon.
Excellent looks, Good fuel economy, excellent pick up even on CNG, zippy for mumbai roadsGround clearance , Not comfortable for 5 people..

Exterior: Excellent design and it easily beats its competitors Alto( K10 and 800) and Spark.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort):
The best in class interiors and very comfortable to ride on for a long drive. The Alto drastically falls behind in this with cheap plastic kind of look on it. Eon gives you a kind of a rich look with its interior design.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox:
The engine performance is pretty good having a 800 CC engine. Fuel economy is on the downside with a mileage of 12 with AC and around 15 without AC. The gearbox is not that good as the vibration of it feels very odd a lot of times.
Ride Quality & Handling:
I have driven the Alto (K10 and 800) as well as the spark but the ride quality on the Eon has been the best! Very smooth and gives a good vibe. The handling is excellent! The smallest of the space is enough for it do a full u turn. So its very appealing .
Final Words
If your are looking out for a car as your first buy and if you compromise on speed and just use it for city drive then without any doubtEon is the best bet.
Areas of improvement
There is a noticeable difference in power when the AC is turned on. Yes its a 800CC engine but if that lag can be resloved then this will be the best in class car.

looks are the only and ONLY positve side. that too to the taste of some youngsters. metal sheet wud go in in case you press it a little hard. cant see much in the much on the rear view mirror though.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
poor back seat legroom and headroom. seat material is good. dash board is good. steering looks fine. though accelerator is not very comfortably designed. you hear inside strange noise on even a small pots.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
perhaps the worst of all classes. 10-11km/litre in city, 13 highway mileage. gearbox shakes like a tractor, feeling of engine pulling car back, jerks often on AC or even otherwise; and gear ratio very low.
Ride Quality & Handling
very average

dont buy this car at all
