Exterior The exterior of this car is just awesome, its body is aerodynamically shaped & you get some good curves in the body which just add to style when you view the car from a distance. From the front this looks similar to i10 but the fog lamp section is better in this, which looks good added on with the body coloured bumpers. 10/10 for the looks of this Car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors in this car is far better than its competitor Alto 800. We went to Maruti showroom after having a look at the Eon first & the reaction of my friends along with me was just ok. Alto 800 stands no where in comparison to the dual tone interiors of Eon. The interiors are vibrant & cool, doesn't give you the feeling of an entry level car. From inside you will surely love the Eon.
Inside car space is again better than Alto 800 & you have the option of adjusting the front two seats. It can accomodate 5 persons & I sat along with my friends who never complained about leg space in the rear seats. Eon has a very good boot space as well compared to Alto 800.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I felt that the engine makes some noise while the A/C is turned on while driving. I conveyed the same to the service person during the first servicing of the car. I have driven around 500 Kms after that. I am not getting that noise anymore.
Fuel economy is expected to be good for a Car like this. In the City with the A/C turned on I am getting a mileage of 15 - 16 Kmpl. Since I live in Chennai & I have driven this only few times without A/C so cant tell about the mileage without using A/C.
Gear box is smooth & easy to use without any hassles.
Ride Quality & Handling Eon has a very good turning radius, you can easily take a U turn in this car on a 2 lane road. Eon's ride quality & handling is magnificent. I took this on a long drive & touched 110 Km/h, Eon was steady on the road with a very good response to the power steering. Another great feature in Eon is the EPS (Electronic Power Steering). It is very smooth & responsive you can easily drive the car with one hand on the steering, many people having this habit like me & will never feel anything at all.
The braking system in the car is too good. You are not required to press the brake pedal hard, just keeping the foot on it will serve the purpose. It has two disk brakes in the front two tyres & drum brakes in the rear tyres. You can actually stop from 60 Km/h to dead stop in almost 5 seconds which is really good.
Final Words Final verdict on Eon: This is the best Car in India in its category. The kind of looks, design & features packed by Hyundai in this Car will definitely attract the customers. People willing to buy Nano can always look at this as an alternative, while shelling out some more bucks will be worth for sure. Buy recommended !!!
Areas of improvement I feel that Eon should contain the rear defogger & rear viper. In city conditions the rear side of the car gets lot of dust accumulated on it. You have to wipe it out manually. Some times while driving you suddenly recognize that your rear view is blocked then you don't get a rear viper to use instantly. I think it is not possible to fit one in as there is no option provided for that from Hyundai.
Apart from this the Car is small, stylish & compact which you will love at the first instance.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I own SPORTZ model. Space is excellent. Music system, EPSteering is Awesome. Very much comfortable while driving.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Extraordinary performacne. Fuel Economy is top in the class.
Ride Quality & Handling Great quality while driving. At 110 speed on 5th gear, you do n't feel any Vibration, sound. Wah: Hats off to Hyundai.
Final Words Earlier had MARUTI800. Booked EON SPORTZ on Sep 28th. Had first look on 07th Oct at AMRITSAR. Got my SPROTZ MODEL on 19th OCT. My children, wife & my self Love this EON Buddy very much. On road price was 4Lac at Amritsar. In this range with extraordianary features & 21.2 Millage, you can not get any other car. We are enjoying with our EON. It's worth to go for EON in this NEW ERA.

The car is wonderful and a good Value for Money. At entry level I couldn't find any car which can give me this much feature with all together. well-packaged interior boasts of generous levels of standard equipment it gives you keyless entry function with Sportz model with Front power window, driver air bag and front Fog lamp, what else you can get at this price on this level car? For me it's a superb car with excellent features. So go ahead and have this one for your family. The car I like specially for it's fluidic design and performance in city road. If you are driving regular and if the km is high for your daily driving, then I would suggest here is your dream car which can give you a excellent feature with great milage.
Exterior Superb.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Wonderful at this level car.

Exterior A unique car, The exterior so attractive very sober, sporty look, much better than alto to compare.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Much space, luxurious and beige coloured interior looks very nice. The car is spacious enough for 5 person to sit comfortably. Its a compact car with a very decent built.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The true mileage is checked only aftr the first service, but i drove approx 1500 kms without A.C.and get 21.5 km/lt also in hilly area, better pick up among 800 cc cars. I have purchased my eon on 24.10.2011, till now I haven't faced any technical probelm related to engine or suspension or a/c. etc, its a trouble free car.
Ride Quality & Handling Smooth riding, comfortable for long drive also. I can't find anything wrong of this car.
Final Words Finally a nice car, value for money. Riding my eon is alwz a pleasure for me.

Exterior Excellent, A very attractive design. Sporty look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent interiors. Leg space is large but not lavish (better than alto). Large boot space, gud ac, very gud front view, and also gud driving comfort. Gear indicator is a gud feature. Good sterio in higher variants.Interior is like Verna.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good performence, Very gud mileage (got mileage 18-19 with ac), gud pickup, but gear liver is slightly vibrating.
Ride Quality & Handling Very good (Definitely better than alto & other 800cc cars), Driving is very smooth and comfort.
Final Words No doubt.. EON is a very good Hatchback. Attractive look is a mojar key point. Also a very good mileage and good driving comfort. Itz a good choice for the new buyers. Customers should take a look on the Eon before they planned to buy a new hatchback.
Areas of improvement Price should be reduce to compete alto.

Exterior The new concept of fluidic design in a small car gives a look of a premium car. I felt this to be the best design in <5L segment cars. The front triangular fog lamp and front and rear light were marvelous in design. This car is an actual competitor for B1 segment cars (A-star, Estilo, Santro etc) and its best compared to all B1 segment cars. Alto is nowhere comparable with Eon in terms of look. The small rear spoiler and micro roof antenna adds extra look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The two tone beige interior, metalic finish and instrument panel makes car look better compared to the plasticy grey interiors of Maruti. The gear shift indicator helps to improve the fuel efficiency. The air-conditioner left me pleasantly surprised and Blower speed 2 is enough even in hot city like Chennai. The fronts seats comfort is good. The rear seats are bit narrower so accomodating 3 adults would be bit uncomfortable but far better than alto or Estilo. The rear leg room would be less if any person >5'10 height takes up front seat. The Boot space is good but it should be reduced so that the rear legroom can be increased. The 2 DIN music system gives a rich look and the speakers sound is also good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is bit unpowered with aircon on. It has less intial pickup with AC on and 4 people onboard and sounds coarse when revved hard. So need to change gears often in city drive but in highway its not a problem. Fuel effeiciency is excellent. I get 17 to 18 Kmpl with AC on, mixed city and highway ride and maximum speed of 100Kmph. In highways it gives 20+ garaunteed but the accelaration must be smooth and speed <=100Kmph. The worst mileage that i got was 13kmpl when i drove the car with hard accelaration and speed > 120Kmph. During hard accelaration the pick up would be superb as one would drive at higher RPM. The car does well till 140 Kmph. The only reason which made me think whether to buy Eon or not was the gear lever vibration but its not a problem and i have driven 7000kms and dint face any problem. The braking is excellent and do not wobble or skid at sudden braking.
Ride Quality & Handling The ride quatilty is better compared to all A and B1 segment cars. The EPS is very sensitive and makes city drive easier but at speed > 120Kmph its over sensitive. The suspension is good. The stability is good till 120kmph but less when compared to my old Matiz and better than Maruti's.
Final Words Its really a most smart and beautiful hatchback, trouble free because of Hyundai's service station and value for money. My other cars in comparison when buying EON were Alto K10, Estilo, WagonR, A-star, Spark, Santro and they were no where near EON in overall performance.
Areas of improvement Gear lever vibration can be reduced and should be released in B1 segment as its feature and pricing are competitive to B1 segmant cars and not A segment(Alto, 800, Nano).

Exterior No doubt its defenitely a head turner. I have notied many looking at my car to know the model and make. It has got good exterior looks in this segment of cars. Many say it looks like 120 and i10.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The light colour interior along with a dark grey dashboard makes a wonderful combination. It feels like as if its a high priced car. If all the passengers are of average height then space is not a issue. U got enough space to accomodate 4.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good for an 800CC car. Cannot expect much from an 800 CC car. But the only issue i am facing is the fuel economy. I am getting only 12-13kmpl. I compromised on engine performance while buying this car only for good fuel economy but i am lot disappointed after its city mileage of 12-13Kmpl. If i had known this before, i would have bought a second hand honda city.
Ride Quality & Handling Good ride quality. The steering feels very light. We can easily make a quick turn with this smooth steering. I had a change to drive santro and wagon R whose steering is harder compared to EON
Final Words If it gives a city mileage of 17-18kmpl, then its a good option to buy. Else we can go for i10 which also has the 10-12kmpl of mileage.
Areas of improvement Fuel economy has to be improved.

I purchase Eon six months back. It is good looking car.It has same engine that of santro one piston removed. I have driven Alto, alto800, indica vista, beat, alto k10. But I love to drive eon in city.It returns average of 15km in city like Andheri with Ac. On highway it Returned me average of 19+ km with Ac 100%. Those who are confused go for EON instead of alto 800 as Space is more, looks good.It has Gear shift indicator for new learner driver. In city with traffic no car will return u this much high mileage. Till now I have not received any problems.i purchased it from sharayu Hyundai.First service was done at same place, they are the best service provider.
How to improve mileage:
1) For magna+ and sports tyre size is R13
Recommended air pressure is:33psi(1 to 2 passenger) 36psi(full load)
Tyre air pressure plays key role in getting mileage every month air pressure decrease by 2 psi. So every month air pressure check is required.
Normally Indian people dont check Tyre air pressure by gauge they do it by eyes or by kicking Tyre with leg.
2)Follow the gear shift indicator in eon for few days your average will definitely improve.
Follow both steps to get average. And ENJOY.
Fuel Filling habit : Fill the fuel early in morning or during night time as petrol gets easily vaporized at high temperature and save money and enjoy
Note: Normally people dont follow this steps and complain of less average if ARAI has certified car 21+ km It must return you 19+ with AC on highway. If you dont get average thats your driving fault.
For those who are concern about mileage You must go for Era or D-lite version as tyre are R12 145 similar to Alto, Wagon R and Estilo Tyre. Magna and sports version have R13 155. Tyre width counts a lot in mileage larger the width lower the mileage but better during turning and driving safety.
Care To Be Taken :If your car is brand new for first 1000km drive it below 80kmph So that higher RPM is no reached.Dont do plastic lamination matting as it is not water proof if water enter by mistake it cannot be removed and cause rusting of floor.
Car Stability Max speed at which I have driven this car is 145km/hr with 5 people on board the car is extremely stable even at this speed same feeling like Verna or SX4.
