good design and nice handling in city roming. Exterior Sporty look in the car body.

Good ergonomic design,Spacious and luxury look. Dual colour crash pad with beige colour dominating is good in look. Steering profile is also suitable for fast driving person. In high end varients also power window only front doors & sencing also. Additional speakrs should be difficult. Back seat space is not sufficient. No ABS

Exterior Exterior is very good. In front of EON ,Alto 800 look very small. Aurodynamic shape of EON looks very good
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is comfortable for 5 persons. Cargo space is also sufficient. IF some body see s the interior he may feel that this car may worth more than 5 lac ruppes.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox PICKup is very good. I drive on both steep ghats and plain highways. IT pulls like a bull with 5 passenger plus luggage.
Ride Quality & Handlingss My every friend who took a small ride of my car they admired the pick up and the quality of making a car.
Final Words Don't go for Maruti Alto 800. They have changed only outer body . They did not made any improvements in engine. Maruti alto 800 is only fuel economic but not good performer compared with EON.
Areas of improvement Should provide clock. Improve gear shifting smoothness. At least driver side power window for delite plus model. other higher model they have provided for both front doors.

Hyundai EON, the petite car with 814cc petrol power plant with 3 cylinders and 9 valves is capable of generating maximum power of 55.2bhp at 5,500 rpm and produces peak torque of 74.5Nm at 4,000rpm through a five speed manual gearbox . Since the powertrain carries an 814cc engine , the power and acceleration delivered by EON can beat Alto’s 796 cc engine, but cannot stay over the newly launched 998 cc K10 engine of Maruti Alto which delivers 68bhp of power. ‘Very powerful’ term cannot be attributed to EON but overall, EON is a city car with a decent engine tuned to perform well in even congested city roads
An ARAI certified mileage of 21.1kmpl is something , which can drop many jaws seeing the size and price of the car. The highly appreciable Hyundai’s hatchback EON comes powered with 814cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine, which is capable of producing peak power of 56bhp@5,500rpm and 76Nm of maximum torque at 4,000rpm. Exterior Great exterior, way ahead of time. Thus makes the car look sporty bit up in the class factor. Fluidic design really makes it stand in its class.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Biege interior and console is again great far from alto 800. Yes quite furturistic not the old boring same. as u start engine console lights and its like digital (fuel meter).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Only one month of ownership but fuel economy good 17 before 1st service at highway bit less at city but still good good and the myth of gear vibrations at low speed is busted for me at least as there was none.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality good for me and power steering is crisp. Yeah comparing its price. c'mon its not a benz or bmw or Audi.

Exterior No doubt exterior is good in comparision to other 0.8 litre car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is ok,as we know feature is always minimum with 0.8 litre engine.comfort is good.there is also pulling powerfall in running condition when you operate power windows,one can easily fell it.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good as expected from 0.8 litre engine but 3 rd gear never pull and fell as there is a powerfall.sometimes i fell 3rd gear is useless and it is common problem in all eon 0.8 litre engine car because i have read so many reviews and majority of eon owners write about it.
Fuel economy always depend upon driving experience, road condition, traffic condition and use of ac. Gear lever is not so smooth as alto 800. Gear lever is not smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride and handling are good.
Final Words If you want mileage means 15+ and below 4 lakhs budget go for 0.8 litre with minimum power as expected from it but if you can expend more than 4 lakh never go for 0.8 litre engine and go for 1.0 litre magna there may be 30k to 40k price difference but you can get more power only for adding 30k to 40k. Hyundai sells man never explain you all about it there work is to sell cars.

Ride Quality & Handling But if you see the car from far and side, the design ends suddenly towards the rear side, gives an impression that the designer was in hurry to finish the car design and suddenly scrapped out the rear design and had cut it instantly. From front it looks cool. From behind it looks fine, but from sides it gives impression that a part of the vehicle is missing.
Final Words With so much of money spent on design - hunday should have gone for 900-1000 cc engine. I beleive hundai will also go for Kappa with 1 cylinder trimmed (900 cc) in future. Could have reduced Dashboard height for better visibility. (See the failure of Astar). Fuel efficency must be good and Wheel size is fair. Other Wise its ok going for it.
Areas of improvement Rear leg room need to increased.

Exterior Excellent job done by Hyundai , This car is the most stylish hatch back in India today , no doubt about it. where ever you go people will look at your car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very Good , for entry level hatch back space is utlilised in athoughtful way.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox With 814 CC engine this car does a decent job, but I won't recommend this for performance car lovers, turn to Swift . Fuel economy 16-17 km per liter ac occasionally used after 1 st service.
Ride Quality & Handling Nice handling smooth stearing but not as smooth as Astar.Good Braking.
Final Words Much better than Alto800, but I belive Alto has slight edge in engine dept.
Areas of improvement Like Alto k10 put the same santro engine in this car , then you can attract more performance lovers as santro is a proved car. If the pricing is same as K10 then maruthi will really sweat. Left mirror should be a standard equipment with any varient , by law this should be implimented.

Exterior Excellent exterior and the fluidic curves add to the appearance.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is a bit cramped esp for driver and tilt steering is not of much use. but once u fit in, its very comfortable. boot space is more than one can ask for.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is good given its a smaller engine. fuel eco is satisfactory and gearbox is smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling This is the best part. amazing turning radius and power steering. excellent braking and overall control. again, entering the car is a bit unconvenient. The car rolls smoothly and given good clear roads it adds to the driving pleasure. The driver viewing is not good in front as well as left turn and one must get accustomed to it.

Areas of improvement Very shoddy dealer service at PH Jabalpur, they spoil the whole pleasure of ownership by their rough and unprofessional response. Steel body is very thin easily causing dents. Accessories and add-ons not easily available and deployable.
