Exterior Superb!!!
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Hyundai is know for its features & interior & exterior.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Pretty good, 2nd gear stucks a bit.
Ride Quality & Handling Amazing, great highway stability.
Final Words My decision of buying i20 over Baleno has not let me down. Its way ahead of baleno. only beacuse of milege baleno is in competition otherwsie NO CONTEST. The car is superb in all aspect & its really fun to drive car. Steering is too light & good for city driving or to the new ones.
Great MID, looks realy awesome during night..fantastic sound quality & a very good space inside the cabin. engine is so soft & you dont get any noise inside the cabin & at times you feel the vehicle is off. its that soft!!!
I will advise is safety is concern go for i20 & if milege is a concern go for lighter Baleno.
Areas of improvement Add some more safety features to it like ebd.

Aesthetics Though looks are very subjective but majority of users find elitei20 to be quite stylish and aggressive unlike the timid looks of baleno. Interiors are quite plush with dual tone(beige and black). Performance The petrol variant sports a 1.2 L VTVT engine which to be honest feels underpowered due to the heavy weight of the vehicle( close to 1.1 tons).
Requires constant gear shifting between first and second gear in heavy traffic conditions. Handling and Steering Steering is buttery smooth. Feels quite upmarket. You would find reasons to take turns. The high gross weight of car adds to its stability at high speeds and turns. Fuel Economy This is one area where Hyundai seriously needs to improve upon. This is the major reason why hyundai still hasn't been able to displace maruti from the top. On highways and in ideal driving conditions like minimal traffic, smooth acceleration, gradual braking etc it would return a mileage of 17 kmpl (with air conditioning).
In city driving with heavy traffic, don't expect a mileage of more than 15 kmpl. Safety Elite i20 feels more safe and secure to drive than its counterparts. In front and side collisions the car is more likely to keep the passengers safe due to its sturdier doors, side panels and hood. Verdict The difference in performance of baleno and elite i20 isn't much and can be overlooked. Keeping mileage aside, elite i20 scores over Baleno in all aspects. So if the low mileage doesn't concern you much then look no further and go for Hyundai.

Exterior Elegant, good looks and powerful presence on the road.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious, styling, Seating is very comfortable. i own a low end so I cannot comment on the features. lot of storage space. no vehicle gives this much storage options in this price band.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Petrol engine is really under powered, Fuel economy is pathetic, Clutch will have problem in 35000kms Gera box is very smooth. I have driven a diesel engine it is completely different very good pickup and also better mileage.
Ride Quality & Handling Very comfortable for highway rides, good seating position. good steering response.
Final Words Statisfied in terms of ride and handling, safety.
Areas of improvement Engine power of petrol to be increased for this weight vehicle 1.2L is very less. even a small car can win the drag and also the mileage needs to be improved, 9~10 in city like chennai and 13 on highways is reallylow numbers.
Spacious, Steering effort goodMileage, pickup very poor, AC cooling poorExterior/Styles

Exterior Looks are subjective... Dont want to say too much about it. For me, she is 6C.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Infotainment system is fantastic, Sound quality is quite good. I would love to see a wireless connection for Android Auto, dont know whether it is possible or not. Come on dear Google, show some magic!
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox For me, the best part of powertrain is CVT. Its just too smooth. Engine loves to rev easy. Dont try to go in 'Narain Karthikeyan' mode with this 1.2L Kappa. "Kitna deti hai": I think should be around 12 kmpl in City (Pune) driving conditions. "Theek thak hi deti hai."
Ride Quality & Handling Handing. Bang on! May be Hyundai need to work on suspensions a bit.
Final Words Its a good overall package.
Areas of improvement
1. Rear wiper and Projector head lamp. In short, why not to put a CVT in ASTA (O). But I think with recent trend in market where Honda and Suzuki are about to offer ATs in top trims, we can expect same from Hyundai in coming days.
2. I am experiencing a strange metallic sound (somewhere from boot lid) whenever I hit a pot hole or passing over a speed braker (The only distraction in my driving nirvana). I tried to get this fixed in first servicing; sadly, the problem is still there.

The car what I wanted the best car in such economic range, beautifull exterior with premium interior. Good milage of almost 18 kmpl. Powerful engine with good pick-up. Driven almost 3000 km, no issue about anything, fuel economy problem arises at start but after first servicing it comes under control. Good car to buy in this segment.

I have posted a review earlier but mentioned the mileage figures tentatively. now i have tested it.
I have twice driven the car about 600 kilometer and on both occasion the car produced a mileage of just over 17 with ac on. which is not at all a bad figure.
There is nothing to complain about except the power. if you slowdwon the car in 5th gear and then try to overtake, car is unable to produce the power. it only produce the power in 3rd gear. so avoid overtaking in 5th gear with low speed as it could be risky.
That might be just because of its kerb weight. i10 & i20 has the same engine but i20 is much heavier. but for those who belives on simple drive, i20 makes sense.
For comarison with baleno - baleno holds the edge only at mileage that too because its too lighter, almost 200 kg lighter than i20. other wise there is not contest.
Its a fantastic car with superb interior and superior build quality.
