Exterior: classy, stylish and no other ccar in this segment has a styling like i20 elite
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): 2 ton dash board is awesome, comfortable for driver as the steerings and seat hieght could be adjusted according to the driver. AC vents for the back seats keeps the car inside real cool with sun scrotching
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Engine performance is good, a bit of lag in the 3rd gear while moving up from 2nd. the gear box is soft and smooth, but i have faced issues while shifting down to 1st gear with proper clutch pressing, Fuel economy that i have recieved in city (bangalore) is 14kmpl which i feel is pretty good. Havent tested the milage on highways but can expect atleast 16 kmpl
Ride Quality & Handling: the light weight steering makes it super easy to drive in city with immediate turns. On highways, at high speeds the steering gains weight for better stability. Although the response is not same always, but easily managable. Ride quality is superb with minimal jerks with bumps (normal ones and not the one bangalore BBMP provides you which are life threatening for 2 wheelers)
Final Words: An awesome buy if you are looking for luxury in a hatchback.
Areas of improvement : need to improve 3rd gear lags a bit more and the gaer box issue (i hope that is not only my car:P)
The style, design, rideability is very goodThe gear box is soft and easy except i have faced some issues with sifting back to first gear,

I bought Hyundai Elite i20 Sports Diesel in April 2015. This is one car I love to drive especially on highways. Have driven from New Delhi to Mumbai five times. Its a driver’s delight, very comfortable, very smooth gear shifting, have driven at 170 speed and didn’t find any jerk, shakiness and there is no anonymous sound. The engine runs very smooth. Awesome sound proofing and zero trouble till date. Breaking system is also very good with ABS and EBD.
I have driven this car continuously for 400kms without taking a single break and did not find any trouble.
I have also experienced that the fuel economy at 26 but without AC and an average speed of 98 and when we drive above 115 the fuel economy goes down to 19. With AC the fuel economy is 19 at the average speed of 95 which is pretty decent.
Service is little expensive but if we are buying a premium hatchback then we have to bear with it.

Exterior: stylish hatch, one of the best in the market but finish can't be compared to new polo.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): great space inside, loads of features, great comforts though long journey may feels tired, coz of lack of back support. Lumbar support could have reduced that discomfort.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: bad engine performance, instead like to say lack of pickup when required. Economy is good, trust me guys, I have driven for approx. 440km on highway and got a mileage of 19 Kmol with AC on. So it's basically depends on how you drive. I drew at speed of around 90-110kmpl. Good fuel economy. Great gearbox very smooth and silky, never have to strain in city traffic.... Great driving in city traffic.
Ride Quality & Handling: Maruti zen old model is still better than this....... Poor handling quality. Stearing responsiveness is not that great....... Not good at corners.....
Final Words: descent car meet basic needs but with respect to power, pickup and handling it just don't do well....... Having said so, would also like to say that it got the linear acceleration, not a punchy drive.

Exterior Exterior is nice, specially tail lamps. People will spin their head around to see your car. specially Red colour.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious and comfortable seats. Good leg space for front & back seat. Good boot space. 😎
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox You will feel power less with 3rd or 4th gear if you slowdown your car and again want to pick up. You need to bring car to 2nd gear and then it will speedup. 😕 Fuel economy is around 16-17 kmpl for me on highways. in city 14-15 kmpl. I have driven my car for 4000 km.
Ride Quality & Handling Overall handling is good. Power stearing responds well.
Final Words Its good to buy car. Though it looks little over cost you will change your thoughts after driving few kms. 😄

Exterior Alpha romeo look from rear, nice body curves, awesome front grill. Antipinch driver window. Diamond cut 16" Alloy adds more beauty to this sexy car. The rear view camera placement is also very cute and innovative.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features of all luxury brand in Rs. 9 lacs is really appreciable. Be it chiller compartment or arm rest cum storage. The blue illuminations keeps you awake and active during night driving. Ample amount of room space infact largest in its segment. Hyundai innovation & design team has design this beauty from all the aspects tiny things like USB port, AUX In to dual charging points to big things like Seats, clutch rest pedal.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox As I own Asta 1.4 Diesel but never felt driving a Diesel car. Silent, smooth and economical in all aspects be it engine noise, clutch or gearbox all smooth. Earlier I was having SWIFT ZDI but now I feel like an Elite premium member.
Ride Quality & Handling Soft & responsive steering in city or highway. Yes bit tough to control during high speed but yes over all unique in its class.
Final Words Great Innovation from team Hyundai. Kudos to them!
Areas of improvement Spare wheel in Asta should be an Alloy, side airbags. Touch panel for AC & music system with Navigation.

I drove this car till date 1000Km and I am not happy with its Fuel economy, I have Sportz Diesel car and till today it is clocking 13Km per Liter(Diesel) in city + Highway together.
My driving style is good and I am driving car from last 17 years , when I took test drive that time sales person told me that you can get up to 20kmpl keeping my driving style in mind.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ok, but not great to the claim they have
Final Words
If looking for fuel economy then pls take the Honda Amaze
Areas of improvement
Reduce to 5 gears(forward gears), as when we are at highway that time also we need to switch between 5th and 6th gear which is really not addining any value to Indian driving condition.

Exterior If the looks of Hyundai vehicles weren't striking enough, the company has made the i20 look even more exhilarating. I know there have been many more good looking cars, but this one surely makes it the most outstanding of the lot. The 'fluidic' design has impressed me a lot and I don;t miss a chance to pose with my car wherever i take it.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The quality of the interior is quite premium and my family also loves it. The car seats are comfortabe and the quality of materials give a very good feel. The most important and different feature is the music system that comes with so many compatible devices. I can connect my i-pod or phone through bluetooth or just plug in the pen-drive for anyone else's pen-drive. The steering controls add to the convenience.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The 1.2-litre petrol engine is a underdog, people say it is underpowered, but I think 82bhp of power is perfect enough for the city and highway usage. Though the company claims 18.6kmpl as the fuel economy, I have managed to get a maximum of 14kmpl on the highway. In the city, the car has given me 11-12kmpl, which is not that great, but still manageable for me. The gearbox is fantastic as the gear shifts are smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling The steering is nice and soft, I mean, doesn't give a heavy feeling and there is no difficulty in using it in traffic or ghats. The car is stable at high speeds and very smooth even through bad roads.
Final Words I owned a Maruti 800 before and the i20 has been a very good upgrade for me. Right from looks to features to comfort, I have everything that me and my family wanted from a family car.

Exterior Best of the class looks not less than any european model...particularly the rear view resembles the one in Mercedez and top class from the side view.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Awesome interiors fentastic dash board particulary driving in the nights will make u feel wow, charging port could have been mounted may be in a different place.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is smooth and gear box should have been better...mileage is 14kms/ltr and cant expect more than that from such a big monster.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent cant feel a bit even at a speed of 120kms/hr, and handling is as smooth as butter.
Final Words Excellent vehicle within the class almost not less than any sedan class, for those who wants some muscular, stylish, fully loaded features and comforts, not a right one for who bothers for Mileage.
Areas of improvement Mileage is a concerned factor should work out on this and some improvement in gear box.

Exterior I feel quite happy to drive my diesel run Hyundai Elite i20 Magna hatchback as its advanced drivetronics garner a superb average mileage of around 20 Kmpl. The sleek looks coupled with the red colour of the car draw eyebrows around when I drive it through my area. As it is not the high-end trim, my car doesn’t have much of the safety features like EBD, ESP etc.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The 16-inch alloys, offered only on the Sportz and Asta variants, definitely add to the Elite i20's sporty appeal. The remaining trims have to make do with 14-inch rims. That said, it is really the rear where the Elite i20 scores brownie points, thanks to the 'Alfa-Romeo meets Veloster' tail-lights. Let's not forget the blacked out C-pillar that blends in equally well.
Now, the cabin. Its nice and pleasant inside the Elite i20; the dual-tone beige and black interiors look good and so does the neatly laid out dashboard. What is really impressive though, is the fit-and-finish. The quality of the plastic used is very good. Since it is a Hyundai product, the presence of lots of features is a given. The 3-spoke steering wheel has a nice upmarket feel to it and comes with lots of controls mounted on it. The hatchback gets a front centre armrest with storage, a steering-sensitive rear parking camera, and a 2-DIN audio system with 1GB storage among other features. Despite all those features, I found myself wishing Hyundai had added a touch-screen mutlimedia player and made dual airbags a standard offering across all trims, for that is when the car would have truly been 'un-compromised'.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Hyundai was smart to improve that in the Elite i20 by adding a bit more zing to the petrol engine and refinement to the diesel.
I really liked the diesel Elite i20's linear power delivery as I stepped on the pedal and looked to accelerate on the highway. The 1.4-litre U2 diesel engine delivers 89bhp of power and an impressive peak torque worth 220Nm. Also, it doesn't make much noise, even at high speeds, and the cabin is really quiet, thanks to the impressive NVH levels. In terms of transmission, the 6-speed gearbox is quick and responsive and is perfect for highway driving. One must note that the aforementioned gearbox is available only on the diesel Elite i20.
The 1.2-litre petrol engine has been tweaked to offer more low and mid-range power. It produces 82bhp and 115Nm of torque and comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Expect the petrol model to get an automatic transmission pretty soon. The fuel efficiency figures are impressive too; Hyundai claims that the petrol engine offers 18.5Km/l, while the diesel promises 22Km/l.
In terms of suspension, the one on the Elite i20 is softer than that on the outgoing model. Also, the hatchback gets a ground clearance of 170mm. So, all in all, driving on poorly-built roads isn't a challenge anymore. The steering is precise around corners and the car handles well at high-speeds, though it you feel a wee bit of body roll. Overall, the new i20's ride and handling certainly feels more confident.
The crux of the matter is that the Elite i20, with it's improved driving dynamics, added features, more space and new styling, will easily fill in the big shoes of its predecessor. With a price tag of Rs. 4.89 lakh for the base petrol and Rs. 7.67 lakh for the top-end diesel, I agree that the Elite i20 is a pricey package, but that didn't deter many in the past and we doubt it will affect the new-generation model's prospects either.
Ride Quality & Handling Its awesome to ride and will take you to anoither level. Its a class apart and you feel blessed to ride in it and to handle it is quite easy cause its the best One Can ever get.
Final Words Its a must buy for people looking for a decent and economical car.
Areas of improvement The elite i20 is surely a great car, looks awesome but there is a point I would like to discuss, the diesel engine feels sluggish to me below a 1000rpm. I mean yes, it takes a time to go up on the revs and kicking in the turbo but it feels like it takes eternities. As if it has lost ignition, every cycle seems out of fuel. Once it reaches the threshold the turbo starts and there is no problem.
It gives you great comfort, has a stylish look and also is a class apart, rthe Absence of Daytime running lights which looked well before is quite strange and weirdExterior/Styles
