Final Words Great car from hyundai and the elantra is also came in fludic now the voice of hyundai is now become world wide... Value for money when compared to other cars in this segment, Looks in between verna and new sonata.

When I first saw the car. wait a minute there is something hyundai has their business class sedan lovers with a fludic design language and funky interiors.

The comfortlevel is very much higher and it is like the seats of the flight. You get power adjusted driver seat and six airbags. cruise control, ESP and lot more.

The heart is the which impreses me the most bcoz day by day I like the CRDI tech. of hyundai. The refinement in the car is very good for a person who loves to drive themselves.

The rear of the car is most interesting and catchy of the whole lot. Everybody will turn their head to see it if u cross them.

Value for money sine other cars in this same segment have little features cost more than this and the extra money u spend ll not the comfort and features of this car gives for you.

Areas of improvement Reduction of cabin noise at high speeds,Finishing of exterior parts.

Overall Experience: A Great car with some improvements yet to be made

This is almost a new entry sedan in this category with Corolla Altis, Laura, Jetta etc. its main competitors. It has excelled all of them in its looks, mileage and comfort. Its ride is excellent. Its greatest feature is its performance with greater stability. Even at sharp corner and high speeds this car has almost no rollover effect. Its driving seat has 10 way adjustable motions and can be adjusted in the most suitable position suiting your requirements. The direct effect of such an adjustment is that the driver has no tiredness even after a long drive in adverse conditions.

Passengers on the back seats are very comfortable; they have enough leg room and head space. With only two passengers on back seat they have a luxurious feel. However the fifth passenger makes the space a bit congested. Rear vent of AC adds to the comfort which everyone feels at heart.

While driving, the driver always feels his fingers overstretched in an attempt to keep in contact with steering and the horn simultaneously. Only one point is given as phone charger point in the front console (with one in the rear seat). While using an additional accessory, which needs continuous supply of charge e.g. a navigation device, this lack of an additional charge point is pinching. In new versions Hyundai should pay attention to it.

One more is the under sized cup-holders given in the door pockets. These cup-holders are smaller in diameter than that of the water bottles available in market. Sometimes these are hence useless.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious as compared to Toyota Altis, Jetta, Civic. PAcked with features like Bluetooth, Back Camera, Dual Ac, Headlight sensors, Electirc drivers seat adjust, Solar Glasses, AC in the front to seats, cruise control, music controls on sterring and back seat centre arm rest. glove box cooling . leather seats and the list just goes on. This car is packed with features which one needs. Very comfertable for 5 people with plenty of leg room and good suspension. Very attractive car 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox VERY SMOOTH TO DRIVE, GIVES AROUNG 13/14KMPL IN CITY , GEAR SHIFT IS VERY SMOOTH AND SOFT.

Ride Quality & Handling DRIVING THIS CAR IS A TREAT AND CAR HANDLES VERY SMOOTH AND EASY. Deisel car pick up and ride is too good compared to other cars. 

Final Words Value for money with the features and looks given by the company. An eye turner. If you are planning to buy a car in a budget of 18 lacs This is the best car in its segment.

Exterior Very good looking car, with all it curves.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice seating with very good leg space. 10 way adjustable driver seat. Ventilated seats are too good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine makes little high nioice, in AT the gear shift we wont feel at all. 12 kmpl in first 1000km.

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent riding quality, at all speeds. Steering little pulls to center when vehicle is at low speeds.

Final Words I've purchased Hyundai Neo Fluidic Elantra 1.6 SX Auto Transmission a month ago, Nov 2012. It is superb. The Maharaja Red is amazing. It is catching all eyes on road. 

Previously I was little bit scared on how to drive a big car on Bangalore pathetic traffic, where auto-rickshaw, two wheelers, and taxi drivers drive rashly and at signals the 2 wheelers just go between the vehicles, where we feel they will definitely make a scratch. But after purchasing Elantra that too red car, on the roads the story is little different, everyone is maintaining little distance and watching it. Nice.

Coming to the mileage right now the odometer reading is ~1000. On first full tank, with one ~400km highway drive, and rest on city drive with 30km per day drive, with AC always ON, the auto transmission diesel given 12 kmpl. After few more months I will again post the mileage.

The ventilated seats is a very nice feature, the ac air flows through the small holes of the driver seat & front passenger seat is nice. The powerful ac with automatic climate adjustment, car becomes cool really fast. 

Driving is smooth, in auto transmission we wont feel the internal gear shifting at all. In first few gears till the speed reaches 40 kmph engine makes a bit high noise as we accelerate, after that the noise is minimal & smooth. On potholes & at small humps or small speed-breakers, inside people wont feel the jerk at all, we just hear the tire sound.

Really nice car worth for the price I feel. Btw, on road it costed me 20 Lacs in Bangalore.

Areas of improvement Engine noise is coming into the cabin, where they can improve noise reduction and its insulation.

Exterior Exterior is classy as elantra flaunts the fludic curves all over..the only car can be comapred with is chevy cruze.. none other car stand in segment

Interior Interios is also classy as i have SX DIESEL TOP MODEL  with air cooled leather seats and fine doors. the only problem is with the head room if you are as tall as me 6 ft  2inch.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox You may compare it with cruze bunt dont get caught up in hype elantra have the mighty crdi engine. Though it is not as powerful as cruze or laura but 140 hp engine delivers more than eough as u not gona race it above 180 or 190 kmph..and it is extremely fuel efficient.

Ride Quality & Handling This baby is very smooth to ride, The feeling you would have never experienced before. Awesome! Very good at sharp turns ..never go off the road thanx to those latest technologies.

Final Words Value for money. Go for it, I have become fan of hyundai..their sale tesll us all..

Areas of improvement There is some problem with the usb connectivity as the certain type of pen drive needed(fat 32 or ntfs  and with some specific bit rate...). You cant turn the phone on handset mode if it connected to system..so sacrify of privacy is somebody in the car.

Exterior Very Modenrn. Aerodynamic makes a techical sense as well.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Quite comfortable. Ventilated seats, Bluetooth for the phone and tepurature control are the best features.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Powerful. Silent but not as petrol engine off coure. Smooth gear shift. Engine makes up the speed according to the gear itself (can't explain till you drive and enjoy the experience). In first few days I thought it is not the best bet for City driving but I was wrong.

Ride Quality & Handling Dont fear those spead breakers anymore. Ground Clearance like a fashion SUV.

Final Words Best Car across segments. Not sure why I dont see many on roads yet. It was a wise decesion to go for this Car over the options of Toyota Corolla (no comparison as I realize now)😊

Areas of improvement Feel like there was a place to rest the right hand for Driver. Entertainment system should have Navigaton fitted in.

 Quite comfortable. Bluetooth for the phone and temperature control are there. Ventilated Seat feature is available only with Luxury cars like BMW, Merc etc so its good to see the same in Elantra . Even though I have got Casca system with Navigation installed additionally & it’s working as charm.

 Very silent & comfortable, gear shifting is very smooth. Excellent city ride experience while comparing with its competitors like Cruze, Civic (dead now) & Corolla Altis.

 Ground clearance is excellent, never had issues while driving in bumpy roads..

Final Words

 Best Car is the segment, its reflecting in the sales numbers too, this is the top selling car in its segment.

Areas of improvement  

 Fuel economy is not that great, I am getting 10~11 in city & 13.5 in highways against claim of 16kmpl, Navigation system, auto wiper, is missing, Since I got upgraded myself from SX4 to Elantra I felt some problem initially while entering into the car because of height.

Exterior Superb, its speechless, the fluidic design is the best, the looks r awesome. The alloys rin't soo cool... But too its cool to b with the elantra.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The dash.. looks ok. better than that of the verna,it shouldn't have been beige. It would hav looked better if the interiors were black n gun metal finished...overall its good. nice :)

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The deisel is the best, its fun to drive, but at higher speeds it lacks control. all bcos the body is light weighed. the fuel economy is not tooo bad fr the petrol n fr the diesel its pretty good.

Ride Quality & Handling At higher speeds it lacks control. all bcos the body is light weighed. The suspension is not soo good at higher speeds.

Final Words It has value for money. I hope it would b the best car in its segment and even the car of the year too.
