Hyundai Creta 1.4 Turbo GDI DCT SX(O) We bought - after much deliberation, test driving a gamut of cars, waiting for availability - the top end model of the Hyundai Creta. We then compromised on colour - we were looking for a dual tone, which is what we had booked. What we won't compromise on is dependability of a car. Since 29th October 2020, the car has gone back to the service station 5 times. And now, it won't even reverse out of the parking spot. The same problem has been repeating. Everytime this happens - the car -supposedly with 7 forward automatic gears - refuses to go into even number gears, jumping from 1 to 3 to 5 after the engine races. The reverse refuses to engage. Then, the thing to do is to switch of the car, wait a minute or two, restart, and back. Today, no go. So, on Monday morning, we start the week with a crappy morning. Shift to our other car - a six year old one - to get us to work, while the spanking brand new one sits and soaks up the sun!. #HyundaiIndia #Hyundai #TakeTheCarBack

I drove creta for almost an hour... Many compared including carwale with new city and seltos in there video... I drove both diesel n petrol engines... Diesel engine is very smooth compare to petrol... I had 12-13 lakhs budget... In my family have a liking for suv/muv... But I was seriously disappointed... The experience going to showroom... Observing customers and salespeople doesn't give good vibes... It looks like you are in Maruti non-nexa showroom... When u inquire about delivery of creta they try to push u accessories... Which is too high... For example, seat covers, they quoted me 19,500/-, alloy wheels 17 inch, around 80k, parcel tray around 12,500/-, Hyundai dealer charges you, handling charges, hypothecation charges, I inquired about diesel E variant too, I observed ex-showroom price is 9.99 lakhs and insurance charges were around 60k almost 5-7% of insurance charges, I told the dealer that I will do my insurance of car, which they denied, 9.99 ex-showroom, goes to 13.1 lakhs,30% of ex-showroom price, dealers are just waiting to loot and loot... Coming to creta, Hyundai makes fun of its customers, extremely over hyped car, it's like elder brother of venue, venue looks like hatch back on steroids, media has over hyped creta, in almost 14 lakhs Ex variant of diesel or 13 lakhs plus S variant of petrol, customers don't get adjustable head rest, steel wheels, how big Hyundai is keeping margins, I always wanted suv, but never wanted to compromise on features and safety, with budget of 12-13 lakhs. On one of my friends suggested to try city, I was reluctant as ground clearance was my major concern, but I took test drive of city, I was so happy that in city, honda has most cleaniest cost sheet n transparency, as well as on 13 lakhs on road v model, had everything that buyers wants... I have started liking sedans like City n I brought one, most buyers look for SUVs or compact SUVs, but it's worth trying a sedan like City and honda brand to... Ex-showroom price is 10.89 and landed price it was 12.85 which is around 20% above ex showroom price, where insurance is 43,000/-, no handling charges or any such charges.... I m not a paid honda customer, this is my sincere review, hope Hyundai reads it, and they dealers stop looting us... I think people should try sedans to...as I did...

Facing problem in headlight side cornering light while driving in hills at night...not even to see at sharp turns ...there anyone facing the same problem Jab mountains pe raat ko sharp turn pe gadi turn krte h to side me kuch b nhi dikhta...or b gadiya chalre h kafi time se but esi prblm kisi gadi me nhi dikhi

Agree with other reviews. Paid 20+ lakhs and its really risky to drive in hills as no cornering lights are there in top-end model. Also, trio led lights are totally useless in rain

Hyundai is started cheating people they stopped E Variant and they are forcing people to buy top-end model. They are creating artificial demand and looting people. As an Indian we need to think now, we should not allow another country cheater to sit on our head. Just consider TATA vehicles if not Maruti. Don't Think that KIA is a separate company(It is part of Cheater-Hyundai).

Hyundai creta is a Superb SUV and value for money product actually am very shock after investing 16 lakhs and not getting alloy wheel it's really disappointing remaining features is very good I just suggest to Hyundai please provide a alteast alloy wheel in S variant in first generation already there thank you....

Cheated by dealer first no delivery even after 3 months than price hike by 80000 , now still no date for delivery. . . . .

The company taking the customer for the ride. Booked EX at an old price of 9.99 lac. One week prior to delivery the price hike was announced which made the same variant costly by lac. Cancelled my booking as the whole budget got disturbed after this hike. I was a Hyundai fan prior to this but the trust and faith now lost.

Creta always excites me, from my 20s ...i always wanted to buy it....and now when i am a proud owner, I want to share my experience ...some people like its new design but I am the one who loves it... I just want to say it is amazing and fresh of the line...In my opinion, in our Indian market...Hyundai is the only company which delivers the combo package at reasonable prices..comfort+ build quality+ features+safety.....my creta has everything...At last, I just want to say if you want to buy a car...always buy a top model of car...as it provides more safety...in India we ignore that fact ...."Life is more precious than money"
