I too faced the same issue today (3rd time, but not lucky this time ) on 22 august 2018 in morning. Just because of faulty brake system by hyundai in CRETA, I met an accident at the speed of 20-30km/hr. It scared the shit out of me. I am afraid and can never do high speeds on creta untill this gets rectified. Hyundai is risking my life as well as other people life on road. Creta is a powerful vehicle with such week brakes system. I went to service centre right away and the service manager was fooling around with me with such stupid questions. Very bad experience and life threatening. I wont be able to drive my Creta with confidence ever in my life. If feel cheated now. My hard earned money is wasted on such a life risking car. Plz never allow any of your known people to buy Hyundai Creta. Its a serious request for a very serious concern.

Exterior Extra ordinary in this segment. giving rich personality when u drive the car.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Extra ordinary compare to others. we can drive car for 100kms with out break. you will not feel tired.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good pick up. smooth riding on highway and city. 16 kms in city and 18 kms on highway with ac.

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent. easy to handle in traffic and get sharp turn. ac is little bit poor. good audio system.

Final Words Very pride to own this car. whereever go with car it makes impact on others and feeling rich.

Areas of improvement Tyres are very bad. i am owner of hyundai cars since 13 yrs. i had santro and accent, in both cars bridgestone make tyres were given. creta has other company tyres. my tyres warned out in 25000kms. i am using car in city most of the time. i am unhappy with tyre quality. hyundai is taking handsom money for the car so they should provide bridgestone or appolo tyres some branded one. i have given bad tyre quality complain but no reply from tyre vendor so far.

EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR EXTRA ORDINARY.VERY BAD TYRE. WARN OUT IN 25OOO KMS.

Pros: The 6 speed AT is very smooth. Only the driver knows when there is a gear shift. The car is spacious... I give adequate legroom for a 6.6 ft tall person like me. The music system is awesome and the infotainment system is very user friendly. Superb ride quality and comfort. Easy overtaking Cons: Car lacks few features like automatic folding outside mirrors, telescopic steering reach adjustments, leather seats Fuel economy is not very impressive. I am getting 8 or 9 KM/L in city traffic.

Can't understand only one strategy of Hyundai why do they keep removing features either comfort feature or safety feature...pre facelift creta model had Brake assist feature and now 2018 facelift model they have removed it...brake assist has been replaced by useless wireless charging and sunroof feature.

Words would fall short explaining the Creta 1.6 SX(O) Diesel Manual in words to be honest, though let me summarise it to the point - Majestic, Bold, Silent Cruiser, Soft Roader, Power-packed, Goodie Loaded, Comforting, Travel Companion ALL IN ONE! Buying Experience was hassle free from Modi Hyundai Thane Showroom, Staff Are Attentive and Aptly Responsive. It's like a Give Respect, Get Respect Circuit. Having owned a Hyundai Grand i10 Sportz Diesel 2013, the comfort given by Hyundai was well-known and expected. Though the Creta exceeds those expectations too. Least Bodyroll, Cushioned Sedan like Ride from a Tall-boy SUV is truly commendable. With zero driving fatigue (driven it a maximum of 8hrs at a stretch so far). Truly a Driver's Vehicle, although at par for co-passengers' POV too. The Fascia of The Creta is a lot different from the outgoing look. This one is more enticing and bold with superb road presence and a face of commandment. Although the body doesn't look much different from the outgoing model, the ride quality and interiors are way beyond those of the older model. The 17" Petal Boomerang Alloys are a Treat to the Visual Appeal of the CRETA too. Sporty yet Supple. I particularly like to compare the Creta to a Tiger, mainly due to the engine's grunt that starts on a growl initially, and later flattens out to a silent hum post 2000rpm delivering a silent predator performance on the road. The size isn't too difficult to maneuver around traffic or highway commute routes too. Steering Response is Superb with immaculate control over the usual Hyundai steering which used to offer less feedback from road to driver Inputs. It would sound cynical to compare the handling however to traditional 4x4 considering this is an SUV too, but it certainly takes the potholes and bumps just like a Soft-Roader should. Road undulations are easily managed by the suspension and tyre team in tandem together with minute jingles if approaching bumps or irregular roads at the wrong/high impact speeds. I have so far Received 15-17kmpl in City driving at under 60kmph within city limits and between 18-20kmpl with highway routes at 60-90kmph. Service Costs? Well, if you've owned a sedan, consider this no different and pay at par with Sedan Service Costs - definitely not a gunshot in your pocket as much as the fellow German vehicles would sue behind you with. Think Low Maintenance - Think HYUNDAI. To highlight a few Pros: - Drivability. - Driver/Passenger Ergonomics and Comfort. - Traction Control, Hill Stop Assist truly aiding features. - Overall Seating Space for 5 adults (especially for someone my height 6ft on the driver's seat) - Superb NVH Insulation - Cocooning Cabin - 6 Airbags - Assurance of Superb Safety - Lots More with a never-ending list to be honest Cons are a few: - Wireless Charging may not appeal to someone who doesn't have a wireless charging Supported phone in the first place. And because the slot is not removable either, the space occupied is a waste. - Auto Wipers and Auto Headlights would have been helpful keeping up with the latest trends of Automotive Gizmos and Tech. - Tyre Pressure Sensors Could Help Maintain Tyre Pressure Effectively, considering the vehicle rides on massive 17" Alloys with a large surface area footprint. - 60:40 Split Seats Would have been a treat considering SX (O) being the top end variant. To Sum Up, Thinking of a long lasting road companion? Look nowhere but at the Creta. It will surely leave you speechless in performance and reliability, and would surely give you the subtle yet majestic bang for the buck. I personally switched from buying the Verna to the Creta (of course after comparisons to competition vehicles too). I Solemnly Swear - The Best Road Partner!

As Hyundai calls it the perfect SUV, I think it does stand up to that name. No wonders that this SUV sells out in such huge numbers leading it's segment. It's a great car to buy as it has the most stunning exterior design and has that premium appeal compared to it's rivals like the capture, kicks, duster, etc. As soon as you step inside the cabin you might feel the instrument cluster and the infotainment system a bit outdated but still gets the job done. Feature wise I think it is well loaded with safety features such as ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors common across all the variants. There are 3 types of engines on offer- 1.4L diesel with only MT, 1.6L petrol with MT and AT(only SX variant), 1.6L diesel with MT and AT(only SX variant). The cabin is well designed with HIVE body structure and the engine noise does not enter the cabin. Riding comfort is pretty decent as the suspension is on the softer side going through potholes can sometimes be felt inside the cabin. There has always been an issue with the breaking of previous gen creta and I think it still remains the same with this one too. The catch of the brakes does not offer great feel and feedback. Also in the case of the steering wheel, driving in the city is much more easier as the steering is light. But as soon as you enter the highway and going through sharp corners you might feel that the steering could have been a bit more heavier to give you that confidence around corners. The pros and the cons I think of this car. PROS - Spacious to accommodate 5 people easily. - Good boot space (400 litres). - Electrically adjustable ORVM's. - Sliding driver armrest. - Cruise control. - Auto dimming IRVM. - Wireless charger. - Rear AC vents. CONS - No rear disc brakes. - Spare wheel is not an alloy. - No AT for top end variant SX(O). - 60:40 split seats offered only in automatic variant SX. - No dual tone colour option for the top end. - No front parking sensors. - No 4*4 offered. Overall it's a great family car and an amazing car to drive only thing I felt is that it's a bit overpriced otherwise if budget is not a problem for you and you're looking for an SUV that is easy to drive in day to day traffic and family trips on an weekend I think you must consider Creta. And at last don't ever go and purchase a car blindly. Take multiple test drives, experience the car properly and only when you think you are satisfied with the car only then consider buying it. Remember at the end of the day it's your hard earned money that you're going to spend. Hope my review was useful and pardon me if I missed out anything. Thank you!

All-new Hyundai Creta is a nice car for driving and for the passengers. Maintenance cost is not more and services from Hyundai is also very good. This car is very comfortable for long-distance travelled.

The buying experience is reasonably okay. While riding comfort is reasonably okay as well, handling is not that great. The quality of the black plastic cladings are not of good quality. And so is the case of the interior trims, floor carpet and seat upholstery. There is a kind of makeshift arrangement for the charging plug for the USB port. The dashboard is not conveniently designed. When the legroom for the front side is adjusted, then the legroom at the rear is less. Though I have used the car for 650 kms only, It has registered 8.5/9.0 kmpl only. The navigation system is not up to date and one ends up with the locations and addresses somewhat broadly, not precisely. The extended warranty for the 4th and the fifth year is a farce, it does not cover many items at that time. By and large the frills viz. hill assist, sunroof etc are not at all very useful, but for namesake. Overall it is not value for money. Many of the features which are brought about are nothing but a hype and factually deceptive.
