Absolute Driving Pleasure

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have driven 1.6 sx diesel around 13000 Kms and  in less than 6 months.Believe me the Engine performance is Awesome and I  enjoy driving it. In my view they are far excellent than any rival SUVs like Ecosport,Terrano,Duster.I have test Driven all the SUVs but CRETA is simply the SUV that satisfied my driving requirements. I dont feel like I am driving a diesel car,such is the acceleration.

Exterior To me Exterior looks good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors does have some premium look at this cost.

Areas of improvement According to me the major area of improvement should be the Suspensions.I had driven Chevrolet Spark before.I could easily say that Spark has a very good suspension system than that of CRETA. This car is purely for Highway smoother roads. My parents are mad on me for buying this car coz they are not feeling comfortable sitting in it.Instead they prefer Chevrolet Spark.

It is not able to counter even a small bump in the City roads and the whole car shakes rigourously This is not the car you are looking for if you are looking for Good Suspensions..Sometimes I felt that after investing 14 lakhs so amount on a car and u still cant get a smoother drive whereas car of about a 4 lakhs (spark) is better in suspensions.

I don’t know I should compare this car’s suspension with that of  Innova’s. Innova’s suspensions are the Best.So Hyundai should work on improving the suspensions.

I have taken this issue to Hyundai Service Centre Engineers. They say that this car has a large wheel base due to which we get a feeling of heavy shaking, Whereas innova has a smaller wheel base thereby reducing the jerks.

I am not totally convinced by the reply given.If you have a larger wheel base ..suspensions should be made to match the wheel base.May be I should have test driven it on the rough roads than on the smoother roads to understand its suspensions.

Final Words According to me this car is Excellent in all aspects Except the Suspensions. If you have test driven and felt happy about the suspensions, go for buying this.
