Dear Elroy Team,
I will be the first Customer for CRETA who is sharing Bad Experience with Elroy Motors.
I took delivery of the Car on 9th August 2015 from Elroy Motors, New Delhi. Following are the Concerns:-
1.Feedback Form was given to be at the time of signing of documents and not after Delivery of Product.
2.Demo given by Sales Person was not upto the mark as he was not aware about most of the features in the Product.
3.You have charges Rs.8,923/- towards Teflon Coating on the Product. However no such Coating was ever done on the Product and no intimation about the same was given to me. Even the documents handed over to me are silent about such charges.
4.Product given was not properly cleaned and dust was easily visible. After complaining also no cleaning was done by person standing there at the time of Delivery.
5.No Polythene Packing of Seat Cover was given and it was already removed without consent of the Owner.
6.Company charged Rs.17 Lacs but failed to give even basic Carpet on the Floor apart from Foot Mats (Which all Dealers charge separately).
7.Major Features are missing in the Product in this Technological World i.e. Connectivity with Mobile Application so that App can update that Product is working fine. This basic feature is available in other Competitor products at lesser price.
8.No feature like Average Fuel Consumption, Distance to Empty, Rain Sensing Wipers etc.
9.In most of the Auto Websites, it is shown that SX(O) have Tilt & Telescopic Steering but Telescopic is missing.
10.Basic Bluetooth wherein Phone is unable to Download Address Book except Connectivity.
I am not happy with the Product as compare to the Cost.

Exterior External look similar to santa fe from front. Side profile also good. Projector headlamps and drls are good. Front grille is attractive. Back view also good. Looks like a proper suv.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are OK, not upto the mark for that price. Plastics quality is not good. Touch screen infotainment is good. Sitting space is good in the front, back seat is good for two people only. Sitting hight is like a sedan and not like a suv.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Nothing to tell about the engine as it's the same engine doing duty in verna fluidic.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is ok.
Final Words Overall it's a reasonable car in this segment but priced very high . An automatic or top variant is costing around 16.5 lks on road .For this price, no need to think of compact suv when you can get a real suv, XUV500, Innova

I purchased a Hyundai Creta on 20/09/2015 from Sunrise Hyundai in my company's name "PEEJAY FINANCE COMPANY LIMITED". Firstly the purchase experience itself was horrible. Due to the waiting period on Creta, the dealer treated me as if i am asking the car for free. then comes the service issue: Since the very first day there has been a very bad smell that comes from the AC of the car at irregular intervals. I ignored the smell for a few days as I felt that it could be the smell of the new car and its plastics.I have tried to notice but there is no particular pattern of the time of that smell. The car has already gone to the workshop of Sunrise Hyundai 5 times for this problem. But the problem still remains the same and moreover it is their attitude which is even more shocking. They do not give a proper response also. ( For the first 3 visits they did not even listen to the problem correctly. On my 4th visit they asked me “ Sir, is the smell coming from the AC ?” I was shocked to hear such a question. My car went to their workshop on the 10th or 11th of February,2016 for the 4th time. Then also the problem remained the same. I went for a 1000 k.m. trip on the 14th and 15th February and informed Sunrise Hyundai that the problem still remains. After my car remained unused for 9 days they asked me to bring my car on 25th February. A team from Hyundai ( Mr. Deepak ) and 2 Korean gentlemen went on a test drive with me. I drove for about 45-50 minutes and they understood that there was a serious issue. My car remained at the workshop for 2 days and I took it back on 26th February. Next day I had to go to Punjab and I again felt the same problem. However this time the smell started coming after the car had covered a distance of more than 80-90 kilometers. Thereafter the smell came regularly as earlier. I immediately informed the service advisor at Sunrise Hyundai and he asked me when I would return from Punjab. I told him that I would return by Sunday evening that is on 28th February. He said that I will get a call on Monday 29/02/2016. I waited on the 29th Feb but did not get any response from him . Then I called him up thrice on 1/3/2016 and he said that he would consult GM Service Mr. M.P.Singh and call me back. However, no one contacted me. I called up Mr.M.P.Singh twice on 2/3/2016 Wednesday and he told me that he is in touch with Hyundai in this matter and would call me in ten minutes and asked me not to send mails of complaint. But his ten minutes are still not over after 5 more days. The staff at Sunrise is not bothered at all about their customer. It is not my duty to call them up each day and ask for a solution to my problem which is due to a fault in their product ? I am the one who is suffering due to Hyundai's sub standard product and they are not willing to listen to me. The enthusiasm of driving a new car has been totally spoiled. 5 times my car has gone to the workshop for 8-9 days in 5 months. Twice or thrice its dashboard has been opened and refitted. Noises from the dashboard come and the boot of the car and it feels as if I am driving a 5 year old car. This complaint of noise from the boot was also there at the time of the first service ( the noise was of a loose latch then. I do not know where is the noise coming from now ). I feel that I have made a mistake by buying Creta and I right now my feeling is that one should never buy a new product launched by Hyundai. The joy and excitement of using a new car has been completely shattered. I am tired of taking my brand new car to the workshop again and again. Now it seems that I would have to approach the consumer court to get my money back. A harassed customer

Have purchased Creta on Monday 17th August. Had a horrible experience. This is my 3rd Hyundai car. I am owning an i10 (2008 model) and a verna fluidic (2011 model). Earlier I have not faced any problem but buying a Creta was like a nightmare for me. I went on 7th August to take delivery of my SUV (Silver colour) from Sunrise Autoworld, Delhi. After clearing all my payments I went down to check the car and found that the front bumper was not properly fitted. The company people opened the whole bumper and tried to fit it in place but they could not rectify the problem. I decided not to buy this particular piece and asked them to get me the next Creta available in Silver colour. But they told me that I have to wait for another 20-25 days for the same. It was horrible and when I asked for refund they persuaded me for a different colour. Ultimately we settled for Stardust colour and they promised that the car will be delivered in next 7 days. Finally on 17th August (10 days later) I got a call that the car has arrived and i can take the delivery. We went to the showroom for delivery and again at the time of delivery I found that the rear left handle of the car was in the door open position however the door was locked. The service engineers came to check the same and they could not solve the problem as the door was locked and it could not be opened from inside as well as outside since the handle was stuck in the open position. They took the vehicle to the workshop and after half an hour they got it rectified and finally the delivery was done. Did anyone from the Hyundai has a say on it???

I have purchased New Creta from Hyundai dated 25 March, 2016. On 8th April, 2016 I first time drove the car for long drive and noted that fumes are coming from inside the engine. It was white fumes with pungent smell. I immediately came out of car and throw 1 bucket of water on car engine (water was available near by) . After that also fumes have not stopped. I immediately started my cell phone and made video of all those fumes that were coming out of the car. (Clearly visible in video).
I sent complaint to Hyundia office using their web site and with great difficulty I was able to register my complaint of fumes. They had send a pick up van to pick my on 9th April, 2016.
After that Hyundai people are not ready to accept that fumes have ever came out of car and neither giving me in written on closure of my complaint. They are giving me road worthiness certificate without mentioning my complaint number and hence forcefully want me to use defective car with danger of life clearly there.
After now nearly 2 months, this Creta is lying with Mahadev Hyundai, Faridabad without closure of complaint.
In between the mandatory registration period has expired and Hyundai people have stopped even responding to my at least 30 mails that I have already sent.
I can produce the video of fumes whenever desired so.
Never to buy hyundai creta.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very very poor Engine - I purchased this car in Aug 2015 ever since then my car has been to the work shop 5 times & had to been towed once [ last night ]
First 5 problems - Music system gets hanged/ back camera also gets hanged.
Latest problem : The Fan belt of the car broke in the middle of the raod, my car is done only 8000 Kms & not sure how can a fan belt of new car break like this. how unreliable is the car !!
My intention of sharing this info is, as most of you may be swamped with the response of this car from the media on the booking numbers etc, however since i have purchased this car & driving I will not recommen this car.
If you have time to make frequest visitis to the workshop then its your choice!
Think twice before you buy this car.

I have very bad experienced with shiv hyundai rajkot
I have booked creta automatic with shiv hyundai before 2month.
I have got call from shiv hyndai that you will get delvery within 1 week, & inform us that our sales person is coming to your office for document fot loan & insurance.
I have gone to there rate for insurance laon & rto which was higher abour 50,000.00 then market price, I told him that your rates are higher so i will take loan, insurance & rto from my agents, but they ignore us that we will not give you car if you dont take insurance, loan & rto from us.
After long discussion with them they have agreed to give me car after 30-45 days at my conditions.
So i humbly request to our rajkotian that i have been cheated by shiv hyndai, but never book any car from hundai dealer they are cheater & there management is interested in making money & unfaithfull to customer & non relaible.
I once again request to rajkotian that if you have book car with shiv hyundai then please cancell your car & book with another dealer they are very relaible & faithfull to us.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) No doubt it is best in its segment in all respects.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Although i am a very slow driver (prefer driving at 60-80 KM/Hr but on highway i testested my creta sxo up to 130 KM/Hr with 2500 RPM for few min. I found its engine quite responsive and ready to go. The important observation i noticed that during this phase the accelarator was pressed very little. One can imagine the speed if it is pressed half way or little more. I drove from Ahmedabad to Gurgaon; a stretch of 950 KMs via Udaipur, chittorgarh, Ajmer, Jaipur and Gurgaon. The road quality from Udaipur to Ajmer was not good enough therefore we decided that during return journey we are going to take NH 8 and NH 14 i.e. Jaipur, Ajmer, Pali, Sirohi, Palanpur, Mehsana and Ahmedabad. The road quality was more than excellant. The average milage was 19.5 to 20.5 KMPL. And i was well satisfied with this performance of creta sxo. The advantage of going for top end model was quite visible during this trip. Gearbox is very smooth but need little more smoothness when using the reverse gear.
Ride Quality & Handling I have gone thru several reviews highlighting body roll and vehicle performance during cornering in creta but in my about 2000 KMs drive no such things were observed. It is just a fantastic compact (?) SUV. Steering is also up to the mark and i always felt that vehicle is in my total controll. The ESP, VSM, Hill decent/acent are the prominant features of this car; were all experienced during this trip. The 17 inch wheel is an excellant performer. My average speed during my return journey was 100-120 KM/hr, thanks to the very good quality road otherwise i don't even cross 80 KM/hr speed in normal driving. My earlier car was new Honda City IVTEC; An excellant car and allrounder but if you ask out of these two cars which one i found better. My answer is Hyundai Creta SXO.
Final Words I am a car fanatic and it is my hobby to read and follow about new cars and love driving although i am scientist by profession and heading Chemical R&D of a reputed pharma company. My first car was Fiat Palio, second one Honda city and now creta sxo as i was always looking for SUV having five seaters NOT 7 SEATERS. However most of them were out of my reach before i first saw Creta sxo. I can say LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. I paid all the money and got the car within month.
My suggetion to potential buyer: If your family is small (NMT 5) and looking for luxury ladden, responsive, good looking, comfortable, manageable, fuel efficient, full of safety features, easy handling, value for the money SUV; Just go for Creta SXO. I can assure you; you will not regret.
Areas of improvement Nothing specific i found here but my suggetion to Hyundai is that they have certainly made a very admirable product however the other features like AWD, Electrically adjustable driver seat should be added. Thanks for reading.

Exterior You cannot compare this car exterior looks with any car below 20 lakhs. It just sticks to everyone. Why not it is the baby santafe. And backing my statement is Shahrukh Kahns statement to use Creta as his vehicle in his movie Fan. Unless looks of this car are so much promising you cant expect that to happen in a bollywood movie. Dont show this car to your wifes otherwise you have to stick to this car only. As competitors are far beyond in this aspect.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Far better features than Duster/Terrano. More space than Ecosport. More comfort then Ecosport.
If you are driving Hyundai or Maruthi before then placement of steering controls for indicators and wipers suits you, where as rivals have them placed opposite and as per egronomic driving they should be placed as hyundai did. Dont this this is small thing as this is the most used part of car. One mistake of them at high speed may lead you to accident.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine power is superb after 1500RPM. it just drags you and leaves everyone behind. Performance wise hyundai should have improved suspension still by 20% so that they would have topped the rival Duster in this matter. Compared to Ecosport it is always better. Gearbox and clutch is far better compared to rivals.
Most useful in case of driving in traffic.
Ride Quality & Handling Better than Ecosport and lesser than Duster. Only aspect duster feels good. But anyhow thsi is only when vehicle is taken off roading. But how many times people take their vehicle off roading is also a question.
Final Words Best car with good ride quality for our patched indian roads. You wont feel any patch inside the vehicle.

Exterior Looks are Amazing.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Leather Interior is good but needs more mainterance and cleaning. Powerful A/c.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel Econoy is 15+ within 1000 Kms of Driving.
Ride Quality & Handling Braking System is not upto the mark although shown many Security Features in the Car. I pressed Brakes very Hard due to sudden Speed Breaker came and some sand was around it and my Brake Pedal was out of Brakes and gone completely inside. Noise of no brakes was coming like Brake Pedal touching something else with no power. Some how I managed with Hand Brakes. Now Hand Brakes is not at Right Position. Because of Console given in the Middle it obstructs the Hand Brake and do not give comfortable and safe feel.
No Remote is provided with the Music System (SX-O) so people sitting at the back cannot operate Touch Screen. They need to stand or ask the driver for their Choice.
Wa facing Issues with Alignment of Wheel although Product was Robotically checked in Factory and same is rectified after two visits to Company Workshop by interchange of front tyres.
Final Words Average Car. You cannot give full marks.
