Bought this car about a month back and have already driven it over 4500 kms. Ride quality is amazing. Have driven it from Jammu to Bangalore with family. Have got mileage of 20+ at speeds of 80km/h and around 18+ when driving at 100-120km/h. City mileage is around 15km/l all on ECO mode. Pros- 1. Interiors and cabin space are best in class. Gives you the feeling of sitting in a premium car. 2. Boot space is very good. 3. Ground clearance is excellent. No issue crossing over potholes on Indian roads. Cons- 1. The only con I can think of is the road presence, could have been increased by increasing the height of the vehicle like the Hyundai Palisade and giving 4WD options for off roading purposes.

I like the comfort and a fully loaded features. This solved my wish for a 'family purpose' vehicle. The best thing is the joy in riding and luxurious feel at rear seats. Just go for it considering it as 5 seaters. Pros: Comfort, Looks, Mileage, Smooth drive, Panoramic sunroof Cons: Last bench seats are not for a person with >5.6ft.

I think it is way too overpriced. As compared to Creta the entry level variant price gap is huge. Not practical to pay this much to get additional 1 or 2 seats. They should have priced it competitively as it is not from the segment of Innova Crysta/XUV500 & now even Hector/Safari. At half the price of this I think Ertiga is even a better value for money than this.

Very disappointed with alcazar 7 seat automatic version as it is only available in base variant. Its not available in top variant. This is really a joke with automatic 7 seater buyers because more and more suv comes with automatic 7 seats now a days.

Defective and poor engine of Alcazar platinum delivered. Received defective Alcazar Engine No-G4NLMW654059 & Chassis No-MALPC815LNM812866 on 10/02/22 after unaccounted delay & despite payment on 21/01/ 22. Issue with idling and during starting. Engine used to switch off & took attempts to start making funny noises. Vehicle was sent for inspection on 26 Feb & 01 Mar 2022. Initially blamed quality of petrol & changed. Later swapped CAM 02 No's & ignition 04 No's sensors & again failed. On 02/03/22 changed full CAM assembly & yet again failed. Engineers now clueless/helpless. Hit & Trial methods are not paying success. This project poor QC/QA/fail design/poor input material/poor manufacturing process/poor workmanship/improper fitting by Hyundai Motors India Ltd (driven Approx. 200 km).Complete engine dismantled/tampered & investigation on. I feel cheated & dejected.

Have taken ALCAZAR 6 seater Signature variant Diesel AT. at Chennai. My comparison was with XUV 700, MG Hector plus, Tata Safari. 1st I need a Diesel AT engine, So I removed MG from list. Safari's middle row with sleek arm rest parents find hard to fit inside. too jumpy on bumps and lagging in features. so removed. XUV 700 a real competitor need to pay 30.5 lakhs where i got all the features in 24.5 lakhs and as am a daily user I need Ventilated cooled seats where XUV 700 top variant doesn't have the feature and the mileage is 8 in city. See Am not Schumacher to race on road. I want to travel Pan India. I don't want extreme powered engine 2 or 3. Litre. This ALCAZAR 1.5 L Crdi Diesel Engine is more enough our Indian roads. It's a proven engine with high reliability and mileage. T Those who want the middle passengers enjoy luxury and comfort go for 6 seater. especially people beyond 40 age can go for 6 seater. Simply awesome, no second thoughts, the space, comfort, luxury, maneuverability, OMG the audio system BOSE really happy. D cut steering, omg, the infotainment, MID, cluster, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, power seat, the special blind spot cameras is top notch etc etc. Was shifted from Ford. used 4 ford ( FIgo, Fiesta, 2 Ecosports ) cars in 12 years. But I wasn't disappointed with Hyundai We are completely happy, especially my parents told this is the best comfort so far. Never thought Hyundai can give this much. The good thing about this car is, no need of after market fittings like Hi end Music system, Middle Window blinds, full floor mat etc. it has. 30.10.2022 got delivered From FPL Ambatur, Chennai, We went to Velankanni Church, Nagoor Mosque and Kumbakonam Temples like Darasuram Temple, Kumbehwarar Temple, Tanjore Brihadeeshwara temple and came back to Chennai on 02.11.22 got delivery Really enjoyed and literally no complaints on any aspect. next we have planned to Southern tip End of India - Kanyakumari and Madurai 2nd trip. Then Goa and Humpy 3rd trip Next Ooty & Kerala as 4th trip. Those who enjoy driving with family. This is the best car. Happy Motoring. Safe drive.

I am driving my car in and around Chennai. It's city and highway friendly and I am getting 16 plus mileage which is good for its size. The best part is I don't feel like driving 7 seater because of its length and great front visibility. The primary reason for choosing Alcazar was because of service back up and VFM. For 21 lakhs you get all gadgets which is really good. Talking about space, I would say 4 adults and 2 kids for long journey. Boot space is fine for a couple of suite case. I never felt under powered but you may need to change gears in a city traffic and I guess, it's same for all SUV.

Great features and mileage. Underpowered but good enough for Indian roads. You are not towing a boat or mobile home here. Beautiful interior. Ventilated seats, panoramic roof, parking sensors, peppy engine for city driving. On highways but underpowered but again I think Hyundai deliberately did that to balance mileage. Cons: No lumbar support. Great car overall.

Just driven 500 Kms, Pros: 1. Butter smooth engine and gearbox 2. Awesome Looks 3. Quality is Top Class since this is from Hyundai, also vast service network 4. Very Compact to drive in the city, Elderly Parents, ladies, the new car owners can drive easily in the city and highway. Easy to Park in the city 5. Base variant, but get ALL the latest features including Panoramic Sunroof, ambient lighting, telescopic staring, Auto AC, Keyless entry, TPMS, 10.2 Inc entertainment screen with blue link to control car cover mobile 6. 200 MM Ground clearance, no need to worry of Big humps and potholes 7. Not as expensive as Safari, Hector, and Harrier 8. Proven engine with millions of kilometers from Creta owners, we have hardly heard about issues in this engine/gearbox/cars 9. No vision block while driving like Safari/Harrier 10. Elderly parents/short height people can climb up and get down easily unlike safari 11. Post 30 Km/h OR post-1600 RPM car has Awesome power 12. Best in segment boot space with all seats up (almost nil in Safari/XUV700) 13. Easy to maintain interiors with dark colors unlike white/ cream colors in Safari / XUV700 14. Very soft suspension, good for bad road 15. ORVM /IRVM coverage is very good and the turning radius is also good for the city use 16. Waiting period is just 3 weeks unlike XUV700 with 1+ year 17. NVH level is AWESOME better than any diesel car in the segment or above 18. Awesome Mileage ( My brand new car gives 17+ with 70% high traffic Highway and 30% City), post 2nd service will go over 19+ for sure. 19. Good Resale value (My guess) since this is the big brother of Creta 20. Very good headroom in all 3 rows 21. since has a good size boot 3rd rows of passengers would be a little safer compared to safari/XUV700 with no boot (I Guess) 22. Seats Fold completely FLAT in both 3rd row and 2nd row, hence easy sleep / take rest on emergencies 23. Very easy to go to the 3rd row due to tumbling seats from both the sides, not there in XUV700/Safari CONS: 1. Not Spacious like Safari/ XUV700 2. Engine struggles below 20Km/h, will force to go to 1st Gear unlike Safari/XUV700 3. Hyundai Labor cost during services is a BOMB 4. NOT for a family with all Tall members (above 5.8), very Cramped compared to safari /XUV 700 5. 3rd row is for Purely for Kids below 10 years or short people below 5.5 feet (that too only when 2nd row is pulled all the way front) 6. No BIG SUV feeling here (Just looks exactly like Creta from the front) unlike Safari/XUV700 7. Person sitting in the middle does not get a headrest nor 3 point seat belt 8. 3rd-row seat is too upright, and not comfortable for the long drive. 9. 2nd-row seat does not recline much, just at a relaxed position, cannot sleep like in Hector 10. With a full load and on low speeds, frequent gear shifts needed 11. 2nd-row seats are not wide, and sitting 3 is not as comfortable as Safari 12. Cannot go fast over a bad road/small humps, the passenger will be thrown up 13. When people see from front, many will ask is this Creta or assume it to be Creta and ask questions
