I fully agree with whatever has been said about the Honda Digipad. I just bought a Honda City 2017. The much touted 7-inch infotainment system, called the Digipad is a BIG DUD!!! Firstly, in tooday's world of processor speeds, the sytem takes almost 45 seconds to a minute to boot up on starting the engine!!! That means either you wait for that much time before rolling the wheels or get distracted when in motion to use the Digipad. Secondly, it does not support Apple Car Play. I cannot connect my Iphone 6S to the Digipad because the Mirrorlink on the Digipad does not support Apple. When I connect my IPhone through the Bluetooth, it takes ages for syncronising the contact list!!! Also, when using the in-built hands-free, the voice recognition is very poor. I haven't been able to connect a single call using the handsfree while driving!!! The touch screen of the Digipad is very very insensitive!!! If you are used to feather-touch on your phone's touch screen then you will be DISGUSTED trying to type anything on the Digipad keypad!

As far as the built-in navigation app is concerned, the lesser said the better!! It does not have many important places mapped. It is not updated. Yesterday it took me to a dead end and showed my way THROUGH a walled university buiilding which was constructed years ago!!! Also, there is no frequent map updates. The Honda manual says that updated maps are issued twice a year- in March and October and the user must contact the Honda Dealer to "purchase" updated maps!!! Google maps cannot be used in the Digipad!!

Honda Spares Price list shows the cost of Digipad as INR 50,000.00 One can get much much better systems at much lesser cost. I am totally disgusted with the Digipad!!! Hope Honda does a seroou update for all users or else this piece of junk is worth shit !!!

      Good StyleDigipad, Price

Being a Honda Fan as soon as WRV launched I bought Honda WRV-VX Petrol . In Design this car is excellent still there are some observations : DIGIPAD INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM : 1. Its very Slow in response takes lot of time to come in operation after starting the Engine . 2. Mirrorlink operation is just for name sake , marketing gimmicks , not much of use . 3. In Phone Operations there is too much lag , once any call is received or made immediately after that making second Call takes time as " SYNCHRONIZING THE CALL LOG " message keep displaying on Screen at least for 40 - 60 Sec which prevents next action . Waiting for such duration is not acceptable in any system . As Mic Holes of Digipad , used for Phone Calls are just below AC Blowers on Dashboard , Call Receiving Individual at other end can not hear clear Voice of Caller in Car . With such critical issues using this Digipad System become difficult for Phone Calls , which is , nowadays , a basic requirement of any vehicle . 4. Navigation system is also slow , many time just " LOOKING FOR GPS SIGNAL " message keep coming . 5.HDMI Input given for viewing Videos also does not have compatibility with many phones like Samsung Mobiles like Samsung Galaxy Note 5 . Honda Management need to take up these issue with Digipad Vendor for resolution . GEAR OPERATION Gear Changing is not smooth , its very hard & require good amount of pressure for changeover which is not expected from Honda Car .Excellent Design# Poor Performance of DIGIPAD Infotainment System. Hard Gear Shifting .Less Engine Power

My Name is Sachin More, I from Pune and owner of WRV Petrol SMT Model .. Whereas I totally disappointed by WRV Pertrol performance and its Pick up issue Specially in Slope/Ghat section, In traffic situation .. I repeatedly check with my dealer on same from First Month of Purchase to Till Date (Since more than half year)..but still they does not provide any solution and now it fustrating situation for me. Previously I owned the Honda Brio and based on its performance I like honda to consider to go for WRV model also I have shared my requirement at the time of purschasing with Sales Team as well including Safety Feature and Performance ..Whereas they recommanded me WRV Petrol engine But now It seems they have cheated me as my requirements are not getting fulfiil. Now It is life threatening experience with WRV Petrol issue due to its Pick and Performance issue .. Now I faced horrible issue with WRV Petrol car performance ..My car is not moving forward on slope, it get rolled back where as having heavy traffic on road.. it almost hit back vehicles ..This happens multiple time .. Also when I check with dealer I came to know that they are already aware about this issue and the got answer that they do not have any option to resolve this as all engine are calibrated digitally/ It as per designed. In each visit I got answer from Deccan Honda representative that after servicing It will work better but Its not true I am still facing same issue. I have invested my hard earn money to buy this vechicle for Family. Whereas It look like Honda/Dealer dosent care about customer and their issue and playing with other lives. Now It almost a year that I am following up with them for same issue and still not get proper resolution .. Now I feel that Dealer need to take this vehicle back or solve my issue and its their resposiblility that they have delayed on provinding solution.

I bought this 24 May the Petrol variant with sunroof. I have already driven around 400 km in 8 days. I must say it’s a great offering from Honda, really a very nice compact SUV and comfortable also. Overall design is excellent and so are the interiors.  Interior comfort is best in class. The cabin has good ergonomics with touch screen and seating posture. The exterior looks great. For this price you don’t have any better model to compare. This is my first Honda car and I must admit that I made a good choice. Look is really great. Inside with a big dashboard I feel like driving a big SUV. Lot of leg space in front and in the back also. Engine is very silent, pickup is good. I love its diamond cut Alloy Wheels, they really looks very exciting. Regarding the mileage currently it’s about 10 kilometres but as I know after first service I am expecting around 14 km in city.

If you are looking for value for money and high reliability then i think this is the only option with sunroof.

The exterior looks greatRear armrest missing, Rear AC event

      Driven? 5000+ kms
Fuel Type? Diesel I've been using this car for about 4 months now and have driven close to 6000kms and hence I've decided to write a review about my new Honda WRV i-DTEC VX.

I've researched a lot, compared a lot and read a lot of reviews (Brezza, ecoSport and WRV) and finally decided to go with Honda WRV. (no regrets till date).

      Look and Feel & Comfort:

Initially I felt that the cabin is not properly insulated as I could hear the rattling diesel engine sound but now am used to it. If you have a family with tall people then this is car is meant for you. WRV beats the competition when it comes legroom. The boot space is also pretty good and usable. The drivability is good in both city and highway conditions. The body built quality is way too better than the competition (Brezza,Nexon etc).

      Features:

The car is WiFi enabled and has a HDMI port as well. (you can mirror your phone screen with the help of a Micro USB to HDMI cable). The cruise mode is a boon if you are on long drives and want to relax on a decent 4-lane/6-lane highway. The default speakers and audio system are pretty good. There is no aux port. The default navigation app is very basic but if you want you can install the Google Maps application which is quite helpful. The auto-air-condition does very good job in maintaining the preset temperature. The sun/moon roof is a big advantage if you have kids, it lets in additional light and air into the car while on highways.

      Mileage and maintenance:

I have tested the mileage in all possible ways by travelling in multiple traffic conditions. Tested it in bumper to bumper traffic conditions (distance of 19kms in 90-100mins time) and also in moderately smooth traffic. Even tested the mileage on highways by taming the tank and by cruelly zooming the car as well. I have mentioned the figures below. The maintenance cost is very minimal (at least during the free servicing period).

      Mileage:

City? 16~19 kmpl (depending on bumper to bumper traffic or smooth traffic)
Highway? 20~24 kmpl (depending upon your driving style).

      PROS:

      - Good mileage
      - Great pickup
      - Very stable at high speeds (120+kmph)
      - Good speakers
      - Ample of legroom for all passengers (especially rear seat passengers)
      - Sunroof/moon roof
      - Great build quality
      - Cruise mode
      - WiFi enabled (car can connect to a WiFi dongle or mobile hotspot)
      -

      CONS:

      - Slightly pricy (but worth it)
      - Touchscreen infotainment system can have much better software (they are using Andorid 2.1 version)
      - Slightly noisy cabin (engine sound can be heard from inside the car)
      - Does not support Android Auto
      - Arm-rest not height adjustable
      - Missing rear arm rest
      - Missing rear AC went (but never really felt the need for it)
      - Touch screen response is laggy at times
      - Missing aux cable port

Final Verdict: If you are ready to spend a little more for better build quality and a safer vehicle then definitely go for WRV!

Good looks, nice pickup and seating comfortPricy, laggy touch screen and no aux cable port

This is only 1199cc car. It is a challenge While driving in Delhi. It is an under power or no power in pick up and comfort. I did written complaint to Honda several times but nothing is done expect one line you should check while test drive. You feel like car is going back on flyovers Driving this car. Sincerely avoid buying this car.

Rattling engine noise when vehicle touches 80kmph. This has been put across three months from vehicle purchase and now it is more than 12 months. The dealer and Honda unable to resolve ... very unprofessional approach. I plan to go legal. WRV is a bad choice Brezza or Creta are far better. A SHEER WASTE

Let me start with what led me to select the WRV. I previously owned an Honda City and VW Vento. I sold my City and bought a Honda BRV and was on a lookout for replacing my Vento as well. I needed something that gave me a decent mileage; a higher seating position than my Vento; spacious interiors and safe reliable vehicle. I test drove Ford Eco sport; Hyundai I20; Maruti Brezza and Honda WRV. I finally went for Honda WRV for the following reasons. WRV gets an edge over the competition in terms of 2nd row space. Leg room and width is phenomenal. Mileage is at par with the competition which stands at 25-26kmpl for the diesel variant exclusvely on highways whereas I get about 17-19 kmpl on city roads. Maneuverability is better compared to all.Accurate turns and smaller turning radius is a big help in cities like Pune where I live. Only closest competitor for the above was Brezza. While the top end WRV does get a lot of goodies like sunroof; touch screen infotainment; center console armrest, I went for an Alive edition as my car was mostly chauffer driven and meant for travel for my parents who dont play with that stuff much. The Alive edition though comes with rear view parking camera and leather trim, so thats something I love too. When compared these features with the competition, WRV is very cost effective and closest one is Hyundai I20. Helped me to stick around my budget of 10L with just the feattures that I needed. Talking about seating comfort, the I must agree that Ford gives the best experience in terms of back and cushion support, but WRV clearly gives better support in 2nd row. Being a diesel engine, the WRV performs much better at higher speeds than lower gear ratios. For maximum city drives, I20 would be better IMO. The visibility needs much appreciation as blind spots can be easily avoided by smart placement of A-pillars & B-Pillars. A regular driver will surely know what it means. A big let down in Brezza and Eco sport. Also, Honda engines are well known for their longevity and reliability. For a more better performance, one can opt for the legendary I-VTEC. The stick shifting is easy on and smooth on WRV and at par with the competition. The ground clearance is also adequate and the over designed speed breakers in Pune couldnt touch my cars underbody as was the case with Vento. Even Ford does better in this case. The Boot space is humongous compared to all the rivals. Others give you nothing compared to WRV. Trust me thats a huge scoring point. Talking about sales experience and my first free servicing, Deccan Honda Pune gave me decent discounts while buying WRV and after sales support has also been prompt in helping me add some aftermarket accessories. The exteriors is an perception but I fell in love with the design compared to the box shaped cars in the competition. The beefed up bonnet sets it apart from the regular lizard faced cars running around on the roads. Adding the exterior kit makes it look even more better and bulkier. Though I would term WRV as more of an crossover than a regular compact SUV. Will list some cons for WRV. The Interiors or dashboard could have been much better on variant below top end. Touch screen infotainment system can be expected for a price tag of 10L. Cabin noise is evident at lower gear ratios. Armrest is missing for both driver and passenger, which is very helpful for long drives. Top end though provides a driver armrest. To conclude, the WRV ticked the right boxes based on my needs and I am very happy Honda customer - for the 3rd time AGAIN!!

The only problem with this car is its 1199 cc petrol engine, which is totally inadequate for its heavy body. The engine is very sluggish and it takes time even to attain a speed of 60 kmph. Sometimes it becomes difficult to move it out of the basement parking. I am really scared to take it to hills. It is definitely not a value for money proposition.
