I have been waiting for Honda Mobilio's launch and went to showroom last week to check the vehicle. It looks OK for me and has two drawbacks. 1) Third row is only meant for kids under age 7, adults cannot sit for longer time and 2nd row is for two people 2) when compared (On- Road)prices with Ertiga in both petrol its (2.5 lakhs)& diesel (3.3 lakhs) difference. I feel Ertiga is affordable and has good sitting comfort in all the rows, so going for Ertiga :)
Exterior:- Good- it looks stylish
Interior:- Seats quality not good.propoer cushoning not there
Comfort:- bad. third row is only for kids under 7 years. Elders won't be able to sit for more than 30 mins.
Space:- Good. It has good amount of space to carry 2 big luggage.
Price:- High. Its higher than ertiga.
Airbags not available in all varients.

I paid prebooking amount of 50000/- with Solitair Honda, Andheri west, Mumbai on 14/07/2014 for Mobilio. It was assured by the dealer that if we don't like the car or the price at the time of launch which was on 23rd July then we will get 100% refund in 7 days. We cancelled the booking on 1st August after taking the test drive. After calling and reminding several times we were told that they will refund within 14 days and not 7 days. Todays is 19th and now they are saying it will take 10 more days. I had contacted Honda customer care about 5 days ago and they promised that they will speak to them and if they dont refund by 18th we sould inform them. I called them again today and they said they will look in to the matter.
Is Honda and Honda dealer surviving on prebooking amount? They spend crores of rupee on advertisment to attract the buyers and kick them when they come. I am going to move to consumer court if they don't pay withing 2-3 days.
Beware of this dealer and may be Honda.

Exterior Exterior looks better than the Competition at Rear, Ertiga looks better from the front. Mobilio looks good from the sides too. Exterior looks are a certain plus for Mobilio overall.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) There is a lot space. But the seats are not very comfortable. Last row of seats dont have any under thigh support, but it has recline. But sitting there for long time is just not possible.
Final Words The Mobilio is a good product, but it does not add more value than the ertiga. The only place where it really scores is at the boot and the way the rear seat folds. But it loses out on Seating confort and look of the dashboard. The plastic also looks cheap in Mobilio. So the 1.5 Lakh Premium (Mobilion V and Ertiga ZDI) is not justified. Considering Maruthi's great after sale service and sales network, I do not really see Mobilio Dethrowning Ertiga.

My two month's Driving Experience is very bad. Lot of Quality Issues:
Noise heard from Tool Kit area while driving (2) Roof Headliner pasting NG, coming out from left rear side, above third row seats (3) Fuel Tank Cap level difference from car body, not aligned (4) Rear Boot Door level difference from car body, not aligned, so unequal gap is visible on both left right side (5) Front Seat Back Spring marks visible above pocket area, in Co- Driver seat Rear Side (6) Lock noise heard from left co- driver and centre row right door on rough road (7) Noise heard while driving from dashboard mid BL area behind temple (8) Noise heard as if rear number plate is loose (9) Clutch operation Noisy (10) Steering Wheel Noisy.
Above all, I do not have any customer complaint email ID to complain this all to relevant authorities, Please help if you can.

Exterior Good looking exterior but still missing on turn light ovrms.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very cheap plastic dash board, seats are very thin and 2nd row only good for 2 people for 3 people you should have a waistline of 28inchs.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox With 6 people pickup was ok need to check for mileage.
Ride Quality & Handling We had a mobilio booked 2 weeks ago before launch and had a visit to the garage to look at it. and had the chance to drive it the second day of launch but didnt' feel worth it and we where only able to have 6 people sit and drive it a the second row was too thight for the 3rd person to seat in and the interior was not as good as expected and for the pricing not worth it hence have cancelled the mobilio and have planned to take up the Ertiga or the Scorpio which is worth the money.

Exterior Somewhat okayfrom front but it looks llike a facelifted Brio.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Poor interior, nothing inspiring.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is good, gear box is not that good, fuel economy is good.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is average , the speed is limited at 140, that itself shows the stability issues of the car. It is something like Honda got inspiartion after seeing e-rikshaw.
Final Words I won't recommend this product. Honda is trying to loot the customer. You may compare any other vehicle with this. You will come to know Honda is trying to cheatcustomers.
Areas of improvement Seats-really disappointing- almost like an Omni seat. and the last row is like an e-rikshaw seat. No ride comfort, cheap plastics and poor quality welding all over the vehicle. poor airconditioner with foul smell always. Basic model audio with no blue tooth. no CD/DVD, single wiper wash jet is not adequate to clean the front glass, seats reminds you blade. Above all poor NVH level. You can lsiten to all the sounds outside even after your window glasses are rolled up. Thin glasses, body, cheap interiors, unfinished welding and painting, and many more.

Exterior is too good and best of its class. Cant compare it with Ertiga or Innova.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I feel comfort is same as Innova with little better leg space for last seat and bigger boot space then Ertiga. Just enough Feature is available but by spending some extra money one can get 2 din music system with rear view camaera.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox In city it is giving me 18.5 KM/L with AC.
Final Words One should go for it without second thought. It is HONDA.
Areas of improvement Nothing. Any suggession with increase the cost which will not be justified on this segment.

I am writting this view on clear lack of ownership from Honda as manufacturer and its dealer in Gujarat, pathetic service and sheer arrogance by Honda and its dealer. Writing this view so that other prospective customer think twice before buying Honda car.
I was very excited when Honda has launched its MPV car Mobilio in India, it was perfect match for our family. I bought this car last year, If I am not wrong in first month of its launch. However from beginning only its performance is not upto expectation, a "Honda" expectation and I am strongly condemning your slogan "Honda is Honda". I am totally disagree with your commitment that "Your Honda Mobilio is a wise investment and will give you many pleasureable years of motoring".
1. From day one itself oil leakage has observed from its engine. One can imagine Honda quality, their standards before delivering it to customer etc. - However this was rectified by dealer. During this incident I have tried to approach Honda representative but I am sorry to say here arrogant Honda representative has refused to meet. This problem was resolved by dealer promptly.
2. Within first month of purchase itself glow box from front side non driverside has started giving problem - on rough surface it is giving noice, irritating noice which is not at all acceptable from 10.5 Lac Rs car a "dream" car. During first free service itself I have reported this problem to dealer however I am sorry to say here it was not rectified. This noice so irritating and shocking at the say time unbelieveable from Honda car, I have never experienced such type of noice from previous cars. Same problems were reported to dealer in second and third free services also however their competant team was not able to eliminate this problem. Not only three free serivices I have reported this problem to highest level at dealership for other two times, all times they promptely sent someone to pick car to their workshop to fix this issue. However till now it has not resolved. Everytime after they deliver car to my place next day customer care representative invariably call and ask for feedback, despite being given worst feedback still I am left with unresolved issue. Last time some representative has visited my home personally to enquire about feedback and he gave commitement that my issue will be discussed at top level management within dealer and company and I shall be provided solution for sure, however till now no action on this. In nutshell for a problem which is not a great in nature if we go by dynamics of same dealer's team and Honda is not able to provide solution within one year. For five time in one year car has gone to workshop to address this issue, everytime it goes 30-40 KM trial runs happens, lots of energy have been wasted and the worst part is we never able to enjoy our dream car, it is so irritating, frustrating and disappointing. (I am attaching copy of three invoices which depicts that dealer has attended this problem - marked with RED color).
3. Third point is during purchase negotiation dealer has provided reverse parking sensor as part of deal. This sensor was not working properly and never shown right distance. After complaining about this dealer has promtly replace this with new one. After replacement it was working fine however since last few days it has stopped working. I don't know what is the quality of accessories "HONDA" is using. (Attaching one invoice which depict this problem was attended by dealer - marked with PURPLE color).
4. Fourth and most important point is car while running loose its speed. I have brought this point to my dealer for two times and botht times they have paid immediate attention to rectify this. However funny part is when I asked for what was problem they informed they didn't find any problem but both the times it started running well after it returns from workshop. Again for the third time same issue has come put, car has loose its pick-up one can feel this in start-up and normal running. This is not acceptable. (Attaching one invoice which depict this problem was attended by dealer - marked with BLUE color).
5. Fifth is minor problem as it is not affecting normal operation of car, however it should not happen from car like Honda. Problem is with its stereo system. When car is running with USB device in function and if you stop enigne and start it again, audio system of car is giving error. It is not directly moving to USB device, one has to unplug USB device and again plug-in. This problem is not bothering me as it is not affecting operation of car and this is auxiliary. But this also not expected from Honda. (Attaching three invoices which depict this probelm was attended by dealer - marked with BROWN color).
I myself has worked for Honda Motors GmbH in Germany, I was very impressed with quality and services they provided to their esteemed customers and was so much inspired that owning a Honda car was our dream. When we purchased this car entire family was so excited and was feeling very proud of owning Honda car but within few days only our dream has broken. I am very greatful to my dealer that many a times I approached them and they promptly send someone to look-into problem, however their competent team was not able to solve the problems and hence I reached to a conclusion that this car is manufacturing problem. I have planned to take-up these issues at different forums including consumer forum and other medium till I get satisfactory solution and create awareness to other customers for thinking twice before buying this car. I am thinking to create a forum of Mobilio owners wherein they can also publish their problems with this car if any so if it is a manufacturing fault company to recall these cars from Indian market. In a first step in this direction I am copying this mail to all western region dealers so that they also think twice before offering this models to their new customers if they are really interested about delivering good quality products to their esteem customers.
