Exterior The exteriora are great expecially the small bonnet. It gives so much room to manouver around the car and also the cutsare very smooth.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior features and the sterio system is gr8. The amberchrome illumination is really attractive. the cup holders and extra glove box space is awesome and can be used to great extent to keep a lot of stuff.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The performance of the car is too good. i just love the drive. I found people saying it has low pick up below 2.5 rev. I didnt find it. May be in the new jazz they have rectified the error or after smetime i mite come to knw. the gearbox is early smooth nd the gear shifts are done by one finger.

Ride Quality & Handling Great ride. I just love it, the handling is good and cutting the car and manouvering it thru traffice is really confortable.

Final Words Awesome car, gr8 quality, just a lil over priced I guess.

Great exte3riors and interiors, awesome drivenone so far, a lil overpriced still.

Bought this car after a lot of research and waiting (waited almost 7 months before delivery in May'12). Wait period mainly due to floods in Thailand and had nothing to do with Honda India per se.

Had test driven a lot of other petrol cars in the 7-8 lakh range (i20, polo, linea, fiesta, sunny) but chose Jazz primarily for practicality & driving pleasure.

Exterior Futuristic, appealing design but poor build quality. Even a small bruise causes a big dent. Very light body. You need to be extra careful while driving.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious. 5 people can sit comfortably with enough leg room for all. Boot is also big -bigger than the new DZire ! Seats though are average. I find Maruti seats to be more comfortable.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Noiseless engine - difficult to make out if engine is on or off when car is at halt !! Steering is a joy to behold. Makes driving thoroughly enjoyable.

Fuel economy is poor which has come as a nasty surprise. Am getting avg 10.5 kmpl using tankful to tankful method though almost half the travel is for short stretches (home to office) of 3 km driving at 30 kmph. Still had expected much better from an ivtec.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is excellent. Can handle high speeds effortlessly. Have driven at over 150 kmph in the Mumbai Pune Expressway. Ground clearance is a concern especially if 5 people are onboard. You are bound to scrape through high bumpers 

Some features I Love If you forget to switch off the head lights after switching off the engine, an indicator beeps in sometime to warn you that the lights are on. If you try to drive with hand brake up, there is an indicator which beeps after sometime. Foldable outside rear view mirrors (available in top end models of most cars).

Areas of improvement Definitely needs a more solid body and higher ground clearance. Lots of features missing (which competitors offer)- Rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps ( a pleasure), auto climate control, parking sensors, etc

 Final Words If you are willing to pay a premium for a premium car - go for it..Otherwise, a lot of entry level sedans come at this price, sometimes with more features than Jazz.

To those who think that Jazz may be dicontinued in India. I personally feel that the chances are low. They are probably not advertising Jazz like Brio and City because there are few buyers in the   7 lakh+ petrol hatchback category and those who are will definitely consider Jazz even if they dont see ads and offers by Honda!

Exterior All new refined looks. Front and rear bumpers changed. Honda has really put life in the new JAZZ. Its a beauty.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors seem to be unchanged. Unmatched quality. The beige color added gives a new fresh appeal. Overall JAZZ has the best in quality, premium sports interiors.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine and the gearbox remain unchanged as were in the previous model. HONDA has revived the 'JAZZ' by cutting the cost upto Rs. 1.5 lac and this is an excellent step by HONDA. The Previous model of the JAZZ sold in less numbers because of the stupid pricing by the HONDA people. But this time JAZZ will take HONDA to a new height.

Ride Quality & Handling Lower pickup at low revs. But this can be ignored in comparison to the quality, features and ofcourse the 'PRICING' of the new JAZZ.. After all its a HONDA.

Exterior It would be a best car for present city traffic & parking space. 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent interiors, cabin looks spacious & comfortable even for those who are 6 ft in Height, good leg room in both front & rear seats.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Silent engine. Gear box is very smooth.

Ride Quality & Handling I test drove Jazz in both  city as well as in the highway of Bangalore roads. Compare to Honda city it has better ground clearance but even then not to take a chance, the car needs to come to complete stand still before passing a speed breaker. Test drove in bad roads too, the riding quality was good.

In highway test drove to 120 km/hr & could not make out the car is running at that speed. In fact overtook a lorry at that speed the car was very stable.

Final Words It is a good family car who is very particular about cabin space, comfort, and millage. I too was in double mind either to go for city or Jazz. After driving the Jazz my mind is set for jazz. Just because it is overpriced it lags in the Indian market. If Customers who are very much particular about comfort, space, millage & brand then they must come forward to test drive the car ,hope they might change their minds in buying the Jazz.

Very Spacious, Enjoy driving, good ground clearance for Bangalore roads, good fuel economyExpensive, bit sluggish & noisy engine at low RPM need to shift gears.

I test drove the new Jazz last week and here are my observations that may help a few; 1/The first appearance is the car being well-built and practical. 2/ Innovative space utilisation is class leading 3/ The fuel economy (estimated) is class leading. 4/ Good a/c, nimble steering, lot of storage, airy 5/ The fist thing that puts you off is that you don't get much for what you pay. No driver seat adjust, Tilt steering does not have reach, no alloy wheels, no climate control a/c, no leather seats. All these are not even optional though you expect a manufacturer to provide these for what you pay. 6/ The engine sucks! With 4 people inside, it finds hard to pull in lower power band. The low end torque available is abysmal.You really have to keep working on the gears to keep moving in the city. This is due to max torque available around 4200-4500rpm. 7/ The rear visibility is very poor and women would find it very hard to drive this. 8/ The general advise is to stay away from this car unless you go for anything Honda. After all, it's your hard earned money and don't get cheated knowing you get LESS while paying MORE! Would have loved to give a comprehensive report, but I'm short of time now. I hope it helps! Exterior Its good to look, but every one may not like it, it suerly gets attention when on the road.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It can be compared with sedans, back seats are super comfy. the large glass area gives good overall visibility, but it also alowes lot of heat to be transfered in to the cabin, make sure one has good sun film all around, V kool ae ideal.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Over all a good performer, but jazz chassis deserves a 1.5, sometimes if you are not in the right gear for that rpm, one does feel the underpowered engine, but get it on to a boil and you can feel the ivtec working, its good and bad, good as its uses much less gas, bad with the ac on 4 people on board one needs to constantly search for the right gear, but its no pain courtesy sliky smooth gear box, i have to say honda makes the best stick shifts in town.

Ride Quality & Handling Superb, you will not feel anything inside the cabine.

Exterior May not appeal to all but definitely extremely stylish,feels grand and has an enormous road presence.looks gorgeous from the back and the extended front glass provides a sporty layout.Though looks too far extended from the sides but still makes a prominent style statement.The grand look also provides an image of robust built to last look.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Beautiful interior lay out with ample space inside.The car feels extremely wide and has more space inside than normal 3box cars like Sx4.Though some small things like climate control and sun roof could have made it more fun but ou wont miss them.The car is a treat to sit inside.The large glasses provide a happy open area for long distances.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is refined,peppy and the amazing gear shift quality of honda makes it a pleasure to drive in any driving terrains.Though the engine has a bit of lag and causes some regular downshifts but still is an awesome car to drive:)

Ride Quality & Handling The best ride quality and handles better than ay other car of the segment.The steering is extremely responsive though braking can be a cause concern for some rash drivers else the car is a pleasure to drive.

Handling of the car is amazing and the steering response is just right,The car is slightly soft sprung but it still handles corners pretty well.

Final Words  Test drive it once and drive it for a little longer than noral testdrives and you will end up buy the car.

Areas of improvement Some basic features such as climate control and sunroof and the engine could be made a little more responsive at low RPM's.

Styling,ride quality,light gear box,zippy in traffic,simple to park and the handling is marvellousNo climate control,no sun roof and lack of arm rest in the front,Less peppy than the honda city

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

14 kilometres on heavy traffic and on highway i was able to get between 16-18...please note on HIGHWAYS.

On bangalore-salem highway i was able to ride on 165 ....thats a very good speed  with a superb handling. Its always better to shift the gears down and up according to the given RPM and the driving style and also to stop immediately the car rather than just applying the brakes.

Final Words

I am ok with this car...infact i took this car for my parents , and they are very happy with it, Vision Honda at Kottayam (Kerala) offered me with free alloy wheels, side and front protectors,  free sunfilms & reverse sensors .

I had to fit additionally fog lamps for 5000 RS (a very good price). Internal extra rubber floor mats for 1200 RS

 For a better AC performance and night driving, its better to get the windshield done by antiglare by 3M or Gareware. i went for gareware and was 2500 Rupees. I love the music system. really superb (when compared to other cars).

I strictly use only synthetic oil , as i go for long drives quite often !

Areas of improvement  

Rear Disc brakes, and a bit more power , electronically foldable rear view mirrors + the ipod connection hub.

Definitely honda have to do something for the ground clearance

***NOT AT ALL A GOOD CAR FOR KERALA ROAD CONDITIONS***   as the ground clearance is only 160 mm , the bottom of the car always hits very badly on a bump or in a gutter

more Airbags (there are customers who have experienced honda & are ready to pay )

Automatic gear shift can be attractive as well !!!!!

the all new honda jazz is gud 4 nthin..it lacks of exterior-front looks is old honda city,no alloy wheels,even no tubeless tyres,nt affordable price.etc etc.

fog light present in top end model costin arnd 780000,...it is just nthin in front of its comparitor hyundai i 20....hyndai i 20 is a complete package of features,styling etc
