      Exterior

       FRONT IS VERY DASHING

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

SEATS AND SPACE IS VERY GOOD

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

PICK UP IS GOOD ALONG WITH FUEL ECONOMY

      Ride Quality & Handling

       RIDE QUALITY IS VERY GOOD

      Final Words

YOU SHOULD BUY THIS CAR WHEN COMPARING OTHERS IN THE SAME BUDGET. I WOULD SURLY ASK HONDA TO PROVIDE TWO REMOTE KEYS AND SMALL THINGS LIKE MUSIC SYSTEM REMOTE, LIGHTER, REAR AC VENT ARE EXPECTED.IF CAN SPEND MORE MONEY GO FOR OTHER CAR OR HAVE LESS BUDGET AGAIN NO, AS I WOULD ADVICE TO BUY A CITY OR SX4. FOR THE SAME BUGDET IT IS THE BEST BUY.

      Areas of improvement

CLUTCH AND STEARING SHOULD BE SMOOTH. TO ADD A WOOFER IN THE REAR SPEAKER TRAY WE HAVE TO CUT THE BODY. THERE MUST BE SOME SPACE IN THE TRAY SO THAT TO ADD ON SOME MUSIC STUFF, IT CAN BE DONE WITH EASY CHANGES.

STYLE AND INTERIOR IS GOODCLUTCH & STEARING IS NOT SMOOTH

The Civic should ideally be in the C segment. There is no doubt about it. It is as much a chauffeur driven car as a self driven one. The power experienced and comfort in driving the vehicle is understated, and I sincerely believe that the vehicle has been deliberately kept out of the reach of C segment buyers, although it is not justified. However, it is the best compromise possible for borderline buyers; a C segment car with the D segment feel, in terms of price, comfort, and affordability. It is not as expensive or as powerful as the Mercedes C Class, but has the class of a D segment vehicle. Spaciousness is legendary; however, riding comfort in the back leaves a lot to be desired. In other words the suspension needs a bit of reworking.

Exterior There is no car in the segment that can match the exhilarating exteriors of a civic.Corolla altis is a grandpas car and the design of volkswagon's jetta and skoda's laura are really boring. Civics exterior designs is completely  to the century and thats the reason why when we got toyotas or skodas showroom their executives speak more about civic than their own cars explaing it deficiencies.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Civic rear seating may a little stiff but its not a DRIVERS CAR.Its purely designed for youth and stylish people and not for those who prefer sitting on the back seat.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gear Box The ivtec engine in the civic is one of the most techinically sound engines and honda has proved it to the whole world. It has clearly set a new trend in the market with efficient and  responsible engines. The Gear box is set to be stiff yo make the car more sporty.

Ride Quality & Handling You may feel a little tired if your taking your civic for a long journery of 600 or more kms. The civics handling is pretty ok with a good turning radius and the steering is very very responsive.

Final Words Civic has proved dominance in the segment with an innovative design and the car is always worth for your money.

Areas of improvement The rear suspension can be improved.

Sporty interiors, charming looks, good gearbox, value for moneyExpensive Service

      Exterior Extremely sporty and stylish.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very good, gets you cockpit like feeling, pretty ,much spacious.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is quite good, fuel economy is pretty good for 1.8L engine I get alomost 13.5-14 Kmpl within Pune city , on highways I regularly get 18-19 (with A/C on).

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality good if roads are good, but on a pot hole filled road the ride is pretty uncomfortable. On hilly stretches I found the road handling to be quite good

Final Words The only crib I have about Honda is not about the car, its a pretty good car, it is the Honda service which is a major area of concern. The average cost for servicing a new car comes anything between Rs. 4-6K, but the quality, reliability is worse than any road side garage. I did make several complaints to Honda siel but nothing much changed except few words of apologies came by. Before you buy any Honda product make sure you have a good service station (preferably non-Honda ) otherwise stick to Toyota, Marutis and Hyundais. Bad service can actually become headache, because all these service stations they want to make money out of selling spares which are pretty costly. I now understand why Honda has not gone anywhere in last decade or so. Somebody was telling me this bad quality service is consistent throughout India.

Areas of improvement Enforcing better standards of Service quality. at least learn something from Toyotas, Marutis how do they ensure certain minimium standard.

Goof fuel economy both in city as well as highway. stylish looksLow clearance, very high maintenance cost, extremely poor after sales service

      Exterior Classy.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very Good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox NA.

      Ride Quality & Handling Good.

Final Words Training of technicians is at best very poor. Specially in Kolkata. Very unprofessional and yet arrogant. hallmark of Kolkata? Maybe. No pride in their work and obviously underpaid and disgruntled. Overuse of contracted labor which affects quality when not supervised.

Cant understand the requirements for 150 words when most of the problems with Indian cars is service and non Technical. Product comes from Japan and is perfectly good. Its how u use it and how it is maintained that matters really.

Most laymen shud not bother much with Technicalities just go buy a car they can afford and like the looks of. If you break it then U are screwed anyway no matter where in India or abroad you go.

Areas of improvement Paintshop quality and cost is ridiculous.

This car looks very beautiful and good style and most comfortable and luxurious.

This car is designed for chauffer/self driven executives in India and large number of executives are showing interest to buy this car, this has a very beutiful style in its class and fuel economy is also very good, the design taken by the Honda is appreciable, whenever and whereever the requirement is there HONDA is ready to design for the same with the requirement of the Indians and thanks to the HONDA for designing this car.

The seating capacity is good and comfort the control panel and the gear shift and front view and lighting braking are excellent and the technology used in this is very latest one, performance is excellent in its class, in my view no compromise with this car, it has a very good features, excellent drive, excellent braking, everything is perfect and no match with other cars.

      good style

Exterior A very good looker. very futuristic.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are very futuristic. interior space is great with lots of storage space for knick knacks, huge door pockets. very good plastic quality too (much better than corolla's).

Space is great due to long wheelsbase. once 6 footer behind another is not a prob. flat floor at the rear makes for comfortable seating of 3.

It is decently equipped too unless one wishes to have features that hardly get used like sun roof and cruise control.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is great and very refined. hardly any noise at idle, though it has considerable lag below 3000rpm. its also very quick and stays planted at speeds in excess of 150kmph.

fuel economy is fantastic. the fuel indicator shows an avg of 11.8kmpl in city with ac running at moderate speeds. this figure is aided by good driving and using appropriate gears at different speeds on my part. gear shift is good.

Ride Quality & Handling There is a very nice mix ride and handling. steering could do with more feel but isn't as lifeless as honda city's. its great to hold and has a short diameter. driving position is good but visibility is poor due to high dash and thick pillars.

Final Words Overall its a brilliant package. should appeal to individuals and families alike. though slightly on the expensive side but its surely worth it. honda service quality and attitude is very good. its been my mate since a year and i love it to bits.

Areas of improvement Visibilty, exterior build quality.

engine, fuel economy, interior space, speedometerexterior build quality as compared to european rivals, poor visibility.

Honda civic, a world winner so to speak. Its competition the world over is the corolla, which unfortunately we haven't yet put through the paces, but the Honda has let the cat among the pigeons, and their Japanese competitor scrambling for shelter. I know that you have already been smitten by her looks, and waiting to drive one, perhaps drive one home! I've dwell-ed on the drive I had in Delhi for a few days before writing this; just to let the testosterone settle...

Well, I don't' have too many things to say about the looks, except "Just look at it". Well, some of us thought the C-pillar looked like it came out of the BMW, some wondered if the low ground clearance would hurt on the usual Indian roads. Some even called it a huge PlayStation!! But, looks are subjective; and I think this Honda looks amazing. I think it goes to show that India is getting more and more mature, and won't accept anything but the latest in design. The car is complete with skirting, deep wheel wells and big 5 spoke alloys which look more Italian than Japanese. These are able to match the size of the wheel wells; unlike some other cars sold in india . The front looks amazingly aggressive; it resembles the Accord, yes but not to the extent that this becomes a carry forward. The rear end is also very muscular and big, but does give the feeling that it was completed in a hurry. The thing about this car though is that it only makes the car look chunky from the rear.

      amazing styleChunky from rear
