Poor quality of infotainment system. No replacement from Honda for last 6 months after so many follow ups. No care of customer. No clear commitment on replacement date. It's simple hopeless response

In 2018 I bought this car. The engine has very good interior quality and build quality. Amazing excellent great mileage. My claim is 20km per liter in city mileage. Maintenance and service is too costly compared to Maruti ciaz and Hyundai Verna. But driving is very smooth. Its such a real sedan car. Legroom is sufficient but one reason ground clearance not for Indian roads.

The dealer took a long time for delivery after booking and also the response was not so good. After sales service station is not available in low tier cities and have to travel a long distance for servicing.

Car is good but some attention to refinement is due. Considering length of car bonnet is too long also they should think of modifying the rain gutters on the bonnet and boot as too much gunk gets stuck there. Also the gear shift and hand brakes to be rearranged to seat 3 persons in front. Engine and automatic gearbox is superb. The extra wheel fixture is useless!!!

Exterior Exterior is good look wise but build quality is very poor. body quality is very poor. with finger you can press.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space and comfort is very good. but again inside build quality is very poor. insulation is very poor. you can hear tyre sounds, engine sound, glass sound of doors. Skoda is very nice. reverse camera is pathetic. digipad is waste with 2.3 android. you cant signin with account,. lags while playing video.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel comes around 10 in city, performance is good. gear shift sometimes feel hard esp reverse.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride qulaity and handling is good

Final Words Car is not my choice I planned to buy skoda rapid. but all family and friends suggested city since brand name and service and resale value. but I felt its better to buy of our own choice. Its overpriced product good for nothing. Lagging in so many fields. better to go maruthi in case of resale value and features since the build quality is almost same. or go for skoda or volkswagon.

      Areas of improvement So many.

      1) infotainament.

      2) reverse camera.

      3) no parking sensors.

      4) build quality.

      5) interiors lack of quality.

Space, clutch is smooth, boot spaceSo many

The driving experience is really amazing, the comfort and the sound system which is inbuilt is amazing. The only issue i felt is that suspension can get a little better, the car gets stiff on the bad roads and pot holes.

Bought my honda city back in 2017 as an upgrade from my SX4. After a lot of confusion between CVT and MT ... VX and V...finally I landed up buying a V MT as which is a complete value for money package...till now I have driven 50k km and have no big issues with it, it is absolute fun to drive Pros: -Honda petrol engines are know for their durability...even now we can spot some 1998 city on road...but it is hard to find a Ford ikon or even a fiesta on road. -nice reliable car and economical cost for service -1.5 VTEC is the best petrol available in the segment Cons: -poor head unit lags so much touch is insensitive but that isn't a big issue when the car is so lovable to drive...we have 1000 after market options for stereo and not for the engine ...also heard honda has rectified their issues in the new digipad. - alloy wheels not as good as in VW's Buttom line--- honda city is the best petrol sendan in the segment just have some reserve money from ur budget to change the stereo and alloy ( after 3 years of purchase). Definitely consider if your planning to keep the car for longer years.

The buying experience was extremely smooth. The car looks amazing and dynamic. The highlight of the car would be the automatic LED lights. They give an outstanding view of the road at night. Other than that, seat comfort is the best in its segment. Drive for long hours and you wouldn't have any reason to complain. The petrol engine by Honda is the peppiest and revs freely, giving it a sporty edge. However, I wish the steering would have been more dynamic to complement that engine. Although, people using the car for city drives would be happy as it is a breeze to manoeuvre through small roads and traffic. The other area where Honda could improve is the infotainment system. It really does look aftermarket. Those looking to simply connect their phone via Bluetooth and listen to music would be good to go through.
