With all enthusiasm, wife and I landed up at the showroom cause I simple loved the looks and the technical configuration. The brochure impressed us. Least expected the rude shock when we went to see the demo vehicle.
Styling was good from the outside, the insides were a complete dissappointment especially given the standards they set in the old City. The interior non-beige upholstery is a real damp squib. The silver paneling with the black AC knobs reminds me of the Indica!
Then the supposed advanced audio. My take on it, "Pretty sad!". Would rather have a CD slot cause most systems today have Ipod/USB slots along with the player.
Finally, no alloy wheel option is a killer! No clue what's the thinking.
Clearly, they did an excellent job of the shape and the engine is a winner if it delivers what they claim in power and mileage. BAD IDEA to have tinkered with the interiors and try creative stunts. Now my hope for owning the new City pins on the revised 2009 version! Hope my friends at Honda are listening!
Fuel economy for the Power it delivers, external stylingPathetic upholstery, cheap looking paneling, no alloy option
