Exterior Futuristic and stylish design with the aerodynamic chisel feature could dodge a bit of air above 60 to save you fuel too.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Plush look, good seats, great space at the rear, boot is huge too. I like the front dash board, could have played with the lights though with white and blue on the tachometer etc.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Great engine good power to weight ratio, a bit slugish uphill from 3rd to 4th guess a 1500cc engine could be upgraded to a 1600 for that extra torque. Fuel economy about 14 in city traffic peak hours, gear box could be tweeked a bit for a smothness.
Ride Quality & Handling Rear seat discomfort on pot holes and inferior roads, perhaps because of the low ground clearance the suspension doesn't absorb the bumps through the shockers very well.
Final Words A good buy for people with less baggage. I would rather go for an automatic if I do decide to buy another city as the 3rd car in the house.
Areas of improvement Ground clearance, climate control and cruise control. Suspension on the SMT.

This is to inform you that I, had purchased a new Honda City VMT on 31st October, 2009 (Reg. No. DL 4C NC 4504) from RING ROAD Honda, Moti Nagar, New Delhi and that in all probability RING ROAD Honda has given me a refurbished car. There are a couple of reasons that have given rise to this apprehension like:-
1. The ABS Sensor for the rear left wheel was missing from the car. The ABS indicator on the indicator panel was on. I did not expect Honda to deliver a car with a fault so I took the car assuming that it was normal and the ABS indicator always remains on. On giving the car for 1st service to Sunshine Honda, Jaipur I came to know that this was a major concern and Ring Road Honda is at fault if they have delivered the car in such a condition which could lead to a major accident. However, the ABS sensor was fitted by Sunshine Honda under warranty.
2. Since the time of purchase, I have been feeling noise and hardness in suspension. I have been making complaints about it since the 1st service. Representatives at Sunshine Honda told me that the sound was normal as it was there in all cars of this make. To make believe, they made me drive some other cars of the same make and to my utter dismay, I felt the same noise and hardness in all the cars. On contacting Ring Road Honda for the problem, I was given the same reply but they too could not sort it out. All Honda representatives feel the noise but they say it is normal because it is there in all the cars of this make. If the problem continues to haunt users of all cars in a make then why is it not solved instead of misguiding the car user by saying that this is normal? And if this is the scenario, then why is HONDA changing the Power Window Master Switch in the older model of Honda City? The problem with that master switch was there in all the cars of that make. So even that should have been considered to be normal.
3. The inner and outer roofs of my car have gaping spaces in between them, which to the best of my understanding and auto knowledge is an issue that will lead to faster collapse of the inner roof over time. When contacted, Ring road Honda again asserted that this too was normal as it is there in all cars of this make, leading again to a stronger belief that I have been cheated by saying that a brand that claims to add “power to dreams” is turning my sedan dream into a gross nightmare and terming manufacturing mistakes as ‘normalcy’.
4. The Power window master switch is making noise. I have been making this complaint since the 1st service. This problem was solved at one instance by Sunshine Honda, but the problem resurfaced in less than a month.
5. The power window motor of the front right door is making scratching noises.
6. The inner panel of front right door is making rattling noise.
7. There is a lot of noise from the dashboard of the car like some small parts are loosening and falling apart due to reffiting/remodeling, and thus does not feel like it’s a first hand drive.
8. The black color on the dashboard is peeling off, again tending to worsen the fear of having been cheated with a refurbished car while paying for a brand new one!
9. There is vibration on picking the car in 1st gear, that comes only with prolonged use and depreciation in engine value/quality and not in new purchases.
The above mentioned issues have all been checked and identified by Ring Road Honda, but no action has been taken in this regard besides suggesting changing an entire plethora of parts in my car! Honda Dealers need to be reminded every weeky/forthnightly to solve these problems after which I perforce have to neglect my work and go to the Honda work shop and spend the whole day there to get my car to perfect condition, which they fail to keep up too in any case!

Exterior Great feel of a Honda car's build. Looks swanky in its rich red colour.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable and elegant, but no CD player. You need to buy one and fit it for an extra price. The space is lavish and can seat 4-5 people comfortably without feeling cramped.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fantastic engine, great economy, smooth auto gear shift.
Ride Quality & Handling Comfortable ride an complete control.
Final Words Hands down the best car in its segment. I have driven it for 7,000 KM and am in absolute love with this car. The automatic gear shift is a dream rid in choked Mumbai Traffic. The After Sales service is great. Its been a great 12 months period using this car and the affair is here to last.
Areas of improvement Please give a CD player as a standard fitment. Also add a bluetooth option. Please also add a sunroof option.

Exterior Good looking car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Comfortable, being a passenger & driving.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Mileage - Good on Highway and average in City Traffic, Good performance.
Ride Quality & Handling A little bumpy, nothing to complain about.
Final Words Overall a good package. Definitely overpriced. Not sure how it fares against the VW Vento.
Areas of improvement Creature comforts missing. Climate control, alloy wheel on the spare, softer ride. CD player, dead pedal, thigh support on the seat needs to improve. Funny smell while gearchanges. Apparently on both the Manual & Automatic Transmission vehicles.
Interiors lags way behind the Civic. Needs a stepup. Top end should come with an optional black interiors as well.
When asked as to why Honda is not offering so much on the inside, the dealer proudly said that HONDA has invested a lot on the i-VTEC engine and that they have no funds left to offer back to the customer on other fronts.
Paddle Shift, Good mileage on H/wayAverage Mileage in the City, Missing dead pedal, Climate Control, CD Player. smell during gearchange

Exterior Good and stylish. The shape of the dicky is very good and differnt from other cars in the range.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Just OK, back seat comfort very poor. For this price the co. should give better quality seats and upholstery, better music system and a more stylish dash board.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent. It is a pleasure to drive the car.
Ride Quality & Handling Easy to handle but ride quality poor on Indian roads.
Final Words Should redesign rear shock absorbers and tyre size for Indian roads. The car is too bumpy along the length as weel as the width of the car. It can be back breaking in long journeys of 50 km and above.
Areas of improvement To check the positioning of the rear seat vis a vis the rear tyre position to improve the comfort level at the back.Possibly introducing additional coil springs in addition to soft shock absorbers can help.

Exterior Quite a Good looking Car in its segment. Linea gives a tough competion on looks but any other car (SX4 etc) are way behind.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are good too. May be Honda Could have done a bit more going by the price but again comparing to other cars in this segment, HC is better. Music is supererb.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is satisfactory. Gear shift is smooth. Getting fuel economy as 14 Kmpl in Delhi NCR traffic & that too with AC, so quite satisfied in this regard. No other car can match that. Have driven about 15 K & on the whole quite satisfied. A very low maintainance car. Im owing it 4 the last 1 n half year and on an average spending only 2-2.5K per quarter on maintenance. As far as I knw, other cars maintenance cost is higher than HC.

Exterior Best in its class. Though the paint chips off with minute scratches. Paint job can be improved... Not even in the same class of old M800, though the shining is better.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort Would have liked presence of rear AC ducts. AC is not at all effective in rear.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very smooth, much better than vento, its noise levels are very low.
Ride Quality & Handling Very Good. No other car would be in this leauge..in similar price braket.
Final Words Not a good buy, considering longterm maintenance & service costs. It has to go to service centre every 3 months. There the so called honda service advisers (I call them emerging business leaders) would greet your car with a big service list everytime to make your wallet light. Expect around 30K...50K for maintenance per year.
Areas of improvement Tyres, Attention Buyers : - Do not take the delivery of the car, as long as Michelin tyres are fitted. My vehice has run just over 7K, and making screeching noise. The michelin tyre engineer says the noise it is due to cemented road surface. Do you want to hear same noise in your cars??? We all love cemented roads & the tyre does not like it, sounds amazing.

Exterior Excellent exterior see Hyndai is copying in model
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable and excellent leg room both front and rear with lots of boot spce ( amazing for some boday moved from Maruthi 800 to this segment)
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Struday engine No maintenance constntly increasing fuel efficiency as you run Km currently after 7k it is hitting 12km/ lit in city and 16 to 17 in high ways ( very honest fact)
Ride Quality & Handling Very good , gear box and steering so smooth a passive driver like me can manover easily
Final Words Still a great car I have seen in Hyderabad market still this car is great hit and I enjoy this car
Areas of improvement May be ground clearance but that is ok in good cities like Hyderabad , Honda city still command respect as best sedan with concept of man & machine maximum.

Exterior Nothing short of beautiful!!!! I added alloy wheels of my choice and broader tires 195-65-15 Bridgestone which have improved the grip and handling of the car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good neatly laid out interiors. Useful electronics. Love the Brakes. Safety is good with air bags, EBD and ABS.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy is amazing (according to the figures read on the dash board). I get a minimum of 12 kpl in the city conditions and maximum far exceeding 20 kpl when alone on long drives(Cool driving without a/c, and using overdrive lavishly). Usual driving between my place of business and hometown is about 150 kms and the car with a/c and along with one more person on board will return about 16 to 17 kpl touching speeds of upto 100 kph. Love the Gear box too for the cluck cluck sound when you shift gears which can be so easily shifted.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride could have been better. The suspension appears to have been tuned for stability at high speed rather than comfort. The car handles very well and broader tires with matching 5 spoked alloys have made the handling excellent. The tires have already done 25000 kilometers and appear good enough for another 30000 kms.
Final Words I just love the car. I am just short of "delighted" with the car. My previous car was a Hyundai Verna CRDI which I hated.
Areas of improvement Service interval of 5000 kms necessitates frequent visits to the Service center. My car came with a few problems like improperly finished luggage boot, whose insides began to leak and rust was seen. But a visit to the service agents M/s Cosmic Honda at Cochin solved the problem with a new coat of paint inside the boot. Also I am not happy with the thickness of the exterior steel (gauge), which tends to dent on even the slightest impact.

Exterior
Classic City Looks! The first point of attraction, though I feel that the 2011 version looks a shade better than the 2012 version that i own. The nose design looks a little unimaginative... I guess the change has been brought about to increase the nose hitting the speed breakers in the earlier version. Could have been done with a little more taste
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Once inside, the space amazes you! This is a car where you can really stretch your body and maybe... your imaginations. Suit yourself, you can do both. The AC is quite powerful and is quite comfortable even at the lowest point.
The big minus are its front seats. I have got chronic backache after driving it for just 75 days. The Front Seats are not comfortable at all
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Good performance and it returns a mileage of about 14Km/ltr on the chaotic Amdabadi Roads. Gears are nothing to write home about and is quite rough. Far inferior compared to any model from the Suzuki stable
Ride Quality & Handling
Good Pick -up and great handling. But one should buy this car only and only for the smoothest drive on the Indian road for this price. I have turned the key in many instances even when the engine was running.
Final Words
BUY IT! Stack up a few pillows in the Front seat and enjoy the smoothest drive ever. Somebody said, that driving the car was smooth like Maska (butter); I gave it a better name - Chikni Chameli
