Exterior It is an absolutely stunning looking car and to my mind has the best look in the segment. Its a bit smaller in length than other hatchbacks in the segment which makes parking a bit easier for me (parking is a big pain point in Delhi. So few inches less is great).
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The cabin is fantastic and in the VX MT model, given the biege interiors, it feels quite spacious. The ride is comfortable. Have already take it on two road trips to the hills and the ride quality felt very good. There is a stereo which has amongst the best speakers available and not just in this category. I have had friends with cars 4 times the prices and they prefer the stereo of the Brio to those in their cars. AC is fantastic. The only disappointment is lack of covered storage (besides the glovebox). In my previous car, I used to use the small sliding ashtray (perhap dunno what else it was for) for storing coins and change. This used to come very handy for parking and tolls. Lack of similar storage is a downside in the otherwise fine interiors.
The key problem is boot space. I did travel with two other friends for a short 4 day holiday. Some of our bags (camera bags etc.) were sitting on the fourth seat. Recommended to use bags/rucksacks instead of suitaces. Before I bought the car, I knew this would be a concern but I knew that it would not be such a big issue simply because I travel light. And over 95% of the time, I am dirving in the city and the boot is fine for that use.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine feels great (which is obvious given it s VTEC). It is very smooth. Have been driving this car for over 7 months now and have driven it in the city as well as highways and it is brilliant everywhere. Gearbox as well is good. Fuel effieicncy depends on traffic conditions and how one drives honestly. In the city right now, I am able to get about 14.5 kmpl which is great because Delhi NCR have insane traffic conditions and jams or slow moving traffic really kill the fuel effiecieny for no fault of the car. Overall, I am quite satisfied
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good. The car feels sturdy and that reflects in good handling and stability on highways too. even when I was driving in the hills, I felt pretty confident and the car feels very planted.
Final Words I had my eyes set on the Brio for several reasons - its a HONDA, engine is VTEC, it looks absolutely stunning, has good trims levels and is quite good to drive both in city and on highways. I would highly recommend this car to all.
Areas of improvement Boot space is a challenge and thats a compromise because of the design. For me it was not a big sticking point because I travel light and use cabs when taking flights.
