Exterior

 Very bad. My Honda Brio's (2013 model) back windshield glass shattered into small pieces 3 days back. It blasted off without any external impact when it was parked (I believe it has something to do with blasting off the high compresses hydraulic piston which hold the back shield, but there may be other reasons). This is dangerous as it would have hurt someone badly.When I said this to Honda Car India they are not accepting it. I have a guard who witnessed it. I had a believe that honda quality is one of the best but I think one should think thousand times before buying Honda Brio. I am planning to lodge complain in as consumer.

Areas of improvement  

Exterior That is very personal. Many of my friends donk like the "different" exteriors, but I like it. This is totatly a personal choice.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Dont get carried away by outside looks, interior is spacious (very comfortable for 4 people and comfortable for 5). Leg room for rear seats may be a concern for tall people (may be only). I know bout the boot space limitatation before purchase itself. So no more comments.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox FE good- consistly getting 17.5-18.5 for long drives. But with "patient & skilful" driving i.e "ECO Light  ON" always (no high acceleration, 70-100 kmph, correct gear ratio) we can get above the stated value (19.4kmpl) easily. I managed to get 20-21 kmpl in some short rides.

Ride Quality & Handling Very nice handling. Unfortunately alloy wheels (2 nos) got bent because of poor roads. Although whhel balancing done and vibrations in steering wheel subsided, still original ride quality is lacking. Be cautious while handling the vehicle in potholes and speed brakers. Ground clearance also a concern.

Final Words Very good car with lots of safety features at a reasonable price.

Areas of improvement 6 months service shedule of Honda is irritating as my car covers only 4500-6000 km during that period.If it were a maruthi/Toyotta, I have to gof for sevicing once in an year only.

I am very much disappointed with the services of Courtesy Honda, Wazirpur, Delhi. At the time of purchasing the vehicle they have taken charges seperately for getting registration and it was told to me that registration will be done in 3-4 days. However, since last one month i am following up with them but they are not responding properly. Even they have not given be slip for payment of registration fee after repeated reminders.  In such circumstances, i am in fix how to proceed further and how i can drive without vehicle number. I even could not get the Email IDS on website where i can esclate the issue to Honda COmpany. 

Exterior Vehicle is very good. It look like a european  car launched in India.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) No comparison to other small car in India.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Honda engines are great.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)You have mentioned cd player and am/fm usbin interiors whereas no cd player has been provided in the vehicle.this is cheating on the part of honda brio manufacturers.It will give a bad image in the market

Ride Quality & Handling I purchased new vehicle smt brio from m/ssugoi motors pvt ltd delhi,on 23/05/2012 but i have a very bad experience while dealing with the car dealer things agreed by the company before purchasing have not been provided despite constant follow up for the last 5 days several times which has not been appreciated from such a reputed company it will give a bad message to the future buyers.at present there are very few vehicles on the road.

Areas of improvement plastic parts interior as well as exterior .horn needs improvement.fuel display system is not upto the mark needs improvement.

Exterior Good Exterior, with new colour & unique colour availability with the other small car available in market. 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good with features & inner space, aslo give importance for safety point of view with Air bag feature in a small car. Good interior with thec comparision of all other small car available in the market.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Honda engine & gear box with good fuel economy.

Ride Quality & Handling Better option for 5 people sitting space for comfort ride. I love to go on long drive with Honda Brio alongwith my family.

Areas of improvement Need to launch in Diesel & CNG.

Exterior 

 looks are attractive.......rear hatch attract eyes at first sight.........side view reminds of suzuki A-STAR.........front view gives a aggresive sporty look while back side is just opposite...

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 it provides  good plastic quality with two beidge interiors..........dashboard gives a touch of luxorious sedan ...................space and comfort is a part of concern for honda as back seats are not comfartable for long travelling....back seats are erect in shape which provides pain for person seating behind....features are appealing and a class apart from other cars in its segments but lack of bluetooth(even in higher version) somewhat outstnad its features...

honda cars are known for its level of engine refinement. this is what done with honda brio too. power and pickup of car is better than all car in its segment.....engine noise is very low and provides good perfomance by 1.2l i-vtec,........fuel economy is low but no point of complaining as ratio of power to economy is high.......

Ride Quality & Handling    ride quality is superior..,.....powerful electronic steering makes ride quality a less clumsy for long distances.wether riding in traffic or on highway,steering is point not to be of more  focus..handling at high speed is easy with EBD and ANTI LOCKING BRAKING SYSTEM

 a good car for small family. car with badge of honda provides less part of concern towards maintenance and perfomance.....it is a value for money car and provides a better option in its segments

Exterior The first sight on the car blows you away with the revolutionary styling. Honda has not made mistakes in this department for all its cars. It is aerodynamic styling and low sitting stance motivated you to have fun while driving. Check the rear side of the car with the contemporary GLASS finish and CIVIC style rear lamps. It is terriffic to see the design.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I am still trying to understand how honda has created ample space for passengers in this small car. It is unbelievable to see such a rear leg room space availabel in this car. I could say one of class leading. However tall people sitting on the rear may feel uncomfortable since the integrated headrest in the rear seats are not at the right position. The seats are optimum. Ladies with saree and old people can easily get into the rear set of the car gracefully. There is no CD player. But Honda has made sense in this because carrying lot of CDs with you may eat space in this car. The sound quality from the system is very good. The dials are sporty and gives basic information like Avg Fuel consumption,Trip meter, ODO, Seat belt warning for driver.etc.,It is sad that there are no refelectors on the knobs where you can adjust Mirrors, Windows. This makes difficult to reach to the buttons during the night while driving.There are only two bottle holders and map pockets in the front doors. The bottle holders hold good for small sized ones. There is a ECO mode light in the dials which will glow when you are driving in economy range. It is always fun to make the motor to glow this light. I would always struggle to keep this light glowing in heavy traffic. Tigh support for the seats are less. Three people at the rear seat is not a good idea for long journeys.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox IVTEC what else do you want. The very famous Honda engine. It the same JAZZ engine but  slightly broght down in power. The 1.2 liter engine responds very quick. You reach fifth gear on low RPMs. This means better fuel efficiency. It is so silent that sometimes you feel like turning off the music system and enjoy the drive. The gear box is not as smooth. I dont know if this issue is only on my car. The throws are smaller and the knob is very small. Ladies would love to drive the car because of its easy handling. It is easy REV engine. I have clocked a fuel efficiency of 17.5 kM/l in long distance as displayed. I maintained a speed of 90Km/Hr. My city driving conditions gave me not more than 12 kM/l.

Ride Quality & Handling Brio's suspension is not that good. You can feel that it is not soft. The rear passengers can feel a Pot hole with a shake. Thats probably because of light weight body. It has a good ground clearance with 165 mm for it wheelbase. You can feel tyre noise inside at high speed. The steering is very smooth and sharp which makes cornering an easy task. Brio's airy feel makes it easy to park as well.

Final Words Mind you this is a 1.2 litre engine and this car is the cheapest in the lot. You could see i10 offering lot of disounts and does not come with alloy wheels. For a hatch back equipment levels are not important rather VFM is more in this segment. With the Honda Batch this car is really a VFM. You would feel proud that you are driving ECO conscious brand. 

Compared to Etios Liva, Brio stands out in design,interiors and Better engine. However Brio failed in space and Gear shift.

Compared to Swift, Brio stands out in pricing and refinement level. Brio fails in ride quality and Equipment level. But Swift is expensive

Compared to Maruti Ritz, Brio comes better in engine and design. Brio fails in space

Compared to Hyundai i10, Brio comes better in ride quality. Brio fails in equipment level and Boot space.

Areas of improvement Honda can improve the suspension and place some reflectors in the front door knobs. This refeltors count on the safety. Rear seat headrest can be thought of.

Exterior Very attractive , stylish different look in its class.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior quality is very good and material quality is very excellent.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is noiseless and with a good performance, fuel economy is ok and gearbox is like cutting a butter with a knife.

Ride Quality & Handling Driving brio is a awsome experience. you never feel you are in a small hatch back. it gives you feeling of a sedan like honda city.

Final Words I have driven Satro for years and am great fan of its pickup, maneuverability through the city traffic. I was looking for an upgrade which gives me more pleasure than the legend (santro) itself. I have tried and tested i10, Swift but missed the fun and control in i10 and space (rear leg room) and interiors in new swift. Brio test drive, left with nothing more to ask for. Besides the package was most value for money as well. I was initially concerned about mileage as engine was bigger than santro. But, economic indicator in the car helped me in bringing up its initial mileage of 9km/l to 12.5kmpl in 2 months at normal traffic conditions in delhi. When tested for longer distance than 5km, the mileage increased substantially upto 16kmpl but over the weekends nights, during which traffic is minimal over the roads. Looking in hindsight, I love the decision taken based over the facts, test drive and Honda brand equity.

All in all this is ultimate car. One should go for it..at least one must try it before purchasing any other car.

Areas of improvement Antenna, boot space.

Exterior Looks superb and the back of the car is the one that attracts many people. Don't prefer white color, because its not metallic and will fade away soon.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are good. Music system warranty is unpredictable. Nice sound quality without warranty.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine Performance is good. Does not give any sounds. Fuel economy is also decent(12-14KMPL). Gear box is a little bit hard, which doesn't matter at all.

Ride Quality & Handling Quality is amazing. Its very open inside. The car feels more illuminated from inside and doesn't feel congested. Handling is very smooth. Brakes are sudden and the accelerator response is a little bit slow.

Final Words Great car to buy for people under 5'10". Good value for money. Beats all the competitions it has. Looks are very good. Fully satisfied.

Areas of improvement Space, Music system, interior colors. Mind you, these are just small factors and doesn't matter at all.
