First of all the diamond shape style from honda reminds me of the F-117 Nighthawk from Lockheed Martin. This car has such a balanced frame, you can drive it anyways you like it. For the looks it's totally different. Well I was looking for a bigger hatchback in terms of space but just got carried by it's looks. Also you don't get unneccessary chubbiness here and there.
The sitting position is perfect for me as I'm 6 ft in all and don't require height adjustment but the smaller kind would definitely require that. The controls are easy to reach and the car has a perfect driving position. A good view of the front and sideways and the rear glass boot lid helps to get a clear view whats behind. A bit more insulation is required for sound proofing the cabin. the boot space is small but I would say that customers should see this as a car for singles or for people who love their vehicle and not for persons who like to carry the whole society for a ride. Those can hop onto other brands.
Engine performance is fantastic. One loves revving this honda's silky smooth engine and driving on open roads in Punjab is a dream came true. Also uphills this car is perfect as the body control and the supporting engine lets you drive like a wrc pro. The fuel economy green "ECO " light is a booster to save fuel also try not to rev more than 1800-2000 rpm while cruising. You'll save fuel and the environment. The gearbox needs more freedom while engaging. It's smooth and direct while it requires a smooth syncing like the engine.
The ride is taut and under control no matter what speed you're driving you always feel that confidence while negotiating a simple or sharp turn. While the comfort inside the car is good. The ac is good in cooling the interiors quickly. 4 people of 6ft size are having all the space they need with good legroom and headroom, 5th can also come but of a smaller size albeit. The music sysytem has a decent voice and ergonomics are also perfect.
I've driven 20k's in the car and have never felt like shortage of power or style or boot space. This car is not for lugging load but it's your companion. As Honda says you "love this car it will love you back". Only say would be kindly check what your rquirements are an then buy a car.
Some more features like more insulation inside the cabin, a small alloy antenna in place of the older kind and a diesel engine for Brio would make this the next best seller in India.

Exterior Looks very good from every angle. Love the rear glass. Best looker in its segment.😷 sharp looks. Taillamp cluster looks very unique and beautiful.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Bestest car in terms of space and comfort in hatchbacks. Space is better than polo. plastic quality is just amazing. AMAZING :D love steerig mounted controls. Music system is amazing. Interior colours three-tone looks very very good. Check co-driver seat doesn't pushes all the way front same as the driver's seat.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Perfect for city driving. Great maneuverability. Llacks performance when a/c is turned on,though not very much. Gives around 16 kmpl if driven carefully on highways. Around 13 in city. It is good car to drive on highways and perfect for city...gearshifts are smoother than its competitors.
Ride Quality & Handling I think I don't need to say about Ride Quality and Handling..at the end of the day it is honda...😎
Final Words Good VAlue For Money. My perfect choice.
Areas of improvement :O I said it is Honda... :D :D :D

Exterior I chose silver and after 3 months, it seems to have dulled a bit but I suppose all cars would given the sun, pollution etc.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Its definitely wide but the upholstery could have been better but that has to do with costs too.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The fuel economy is the best thing about this car. I get an average of 17 km/litre in city driving. have reached 22 km/litre for a drive of 15 km which is better than what the company claims at 19.4 km/litre. The average on a 40 km drive from Gurgaon toll plaza to Pacific mall was 20 km/litre on a Saturday afternoon - took me around 1 hour, 15 min to cover the distance.
Ride Quality & Handling No complaints but I had test driven Indica Vista and liked it better.
Final Words Buy it if you like to get maximum out of a litre of petrol. I think this is very important; not just because the running cost would be low but also because, you would be lighter on the environment.
Areas of improvement Rear view mirrors - they cant be adjusted from inside the car. This is definitely a draw back.

Exterior
Car looks small but lots of space inside. The rear luggage area is a bit small.A wiper at rear would had helped.Specially i like it from the back side.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Its quite comfortable. Just i dont like the music player.Being such a small car still it does have enough space to sit inside for (3+1)
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Fuel efficiency is a bit less. But overall performance is good.Gearbox is normal like all other cars at the same price range.
Ride Quality & Handling
A perfect friend.Good handling.Power steering helps.ABS helps a lot too.Very good for long drives.
Final Words
As per the price rance its quite a good hatchback car presently available in India.Am just not happy with you honda. The car build quality is excellent but why so poor after sales services.A lot of harassment to face.
Areas of improvement
Services in kolkata is worst.Honda should look after it...rest all good. Never expected this from you guys Honda.

Exterior
Looks great to us. Size is adequate for Indian roads and the boot door is a nice touch. Good maneuverability.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Adequate space, good ergonomic controls for music system. Speakers are good. Seats are well designed. Two airbags a must. Space for seating is very good. Boot space could have been more.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
We have the petrol version. Automatic gearbox therefore smooth driving. Fuel economy is okay (I think it is comparable to most cars). Engine is quiet.
Ride Quality & Handling
We bought the automatic option. Driving in Delhi is much easier now!
Final Words
Highly recommended. Automatic is a great option. It also comes with airbags for both front seats which is critical.
Areas of improvement
Boot space is small although we are a family of four and have gone on long drives and have always managed to get around it. Pick up has a tiny lag. Bluetooch audio would have been nice to have.

Exterior Very Very Cute looking u will for once see it on the road going past and if u buy red color it is just very very different then all the boring color like the black and white on the road.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Most spacious in its class where good on features and I have the S(0)MT which has ABS,EBD,2airbags at 5.60lakh(delhi) is really a bargain and the speaker are fantastic and for the cabin quility i will give it 8.5/10(good).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Lets see the stats first:88Bhp,110NM(highest in the class) and is still managing 14.6KPL in city which fantastic press accelrator and see it go if u have bymistaking bought SX4,Fiesta,Swift,i20 then i feel sorry for u coz this is a pocket rocket, the engine can scream upto 6500rpm and until there is no loss of power and really leave these car's in dust as the Autocar magazine say!!
Ride Quality & Handling Very Comfy, very good quilty, fantastic space.
Final Words It is a Honda at the price of Maruti and is league's ahead BUY IT or else make a mistake and then CRY FOR IT.
Areas of improvement Seats could have been more comfy and supportive.

The car from my point of view is good, I cannot deny that fact, but at what cost is my question. Should it be at the cost of poor dealer/ marketing/ sales and finally service. In this age where we live, where service is given the utmost priority , my friends, please beware of honda cars just because of the service they have.
I am referring to Whitefield Honda in Bangalore, and Sales and Service is so to the point, that it can be considered as an example as to our one should not be . If you raise the concern to the cutomer relations in HONDA, they revert the same point back to the sales and service abouit whom we complained about.
You will receive a thousand apologies, but I can guarantee not a single action to resolve the issue.
It started of during the sales of the car where the Sales head of the delaer Mr. Jay Shankar/Ramesh in person told me over the phone, that they consider Brio owners as third rate customers and that they need not bother about the post sales to customers because they are so confident about their brand and the product will be sold. After raising the concern with the Customer Relations Honda, I got few calls of apologies from the same person and chapter ends there
Next came the service time, when the Car was picked up for service but dropped back at night 9.00p.m. Now anybody can understand how much they are aware on when to deliver a car to the customer. The next incident happened in the Diwali of 2012. Infact 2 days back before I write this review, I had fixed an appointment to pick up the car for service on 14 Nov 2012. They had said their holiday was only on 13th and they had confirmed the same many a times
They call me on 13th at 10 in the morning to inform that 14th is holiday and that they cannot do service on that. I question them on their commitmment and their standard of service , and all they could come up was , they will waiver of my service charge , but which will be levied on the poor employee who made a mistake by mentioning the wrong date.
You will notice many such incidents where honda literally runs away from all the issues they face and transfer it either to its employees or to the customers.
I have been trying to get in touch with the Customer relations and even they do not have an answer to this and one of their agents could only accept the fact by hr silence that I bought a honda car, and now I must suffer the consequences and whatever s*** whitefield honda thriows at me.

Exterior Wonderful styling, car looks brilliant from all angles.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Amazing interiors, great volume of space packed in (unbelievable at times), the front cabin extends far beyond any other small car . It truly feels like a premium sedan from inside. the color of seats should have been darker such that even water drops look like grease-stain till they evaporate. rear view mirror electronic adjustments, wonderful music system with steering control and clutter free front panel is pure class.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very smooth engine (way more smooth than any hatchbacks), electronic power steering(much lighter than any other hatchback), gears are smooth at par with good hatchbacks like polo.
Most important part - MILEAGE - they have a digital meter that reads mileage. But it needs calibration just like swift ZXi's. For example in my case actual mileage is somewhere between 0.6 to 1 unit less than what idigital calculator shows ie. if it shows 16.7 , actual mileage might be 15.9 or so. Now in city u get approx 14Km/ltr (actual) , on highways it can be anywhere between 16-18Km/lt (actual). ECO button is also helpful in reminding you to drive economically.
Ride Quality & Handling Very smooth suspension tuned for city traffic. good road visibility, comes with MRF tyres (atleast bridgestone was expected). smooth steering like no other car in any class. You feel the light weight of the car while driving as soon as you hit the road and step on pedal. The response is almost immediate.
Top speed is 149KM/Hr. best mileage achieved was 19Km/hr (actually tested and not depending upon the digital meter's readin).
Final Words I am known to be a person who is extremely critical , especially when i feel let down from any of my purchases but i need to confess regarding Honda Brio.
My most satisfactory purchase ever. Unbelievable product/cost offering - honda must be too desperate that they are offering such great product at rock bottom prices , i suggest we all make use of this desperation of honda. And make sure u negotiate well, try to put competing dealers against each other to get extra cash discounts.
Areas of improvement Rear wiper missing even in top end varient - a big flaw. they could have atleast provided anti-mist if not wiper. Rear seats should have been split into 2 instead of one whole seat. Front seats are too high , could have been shorter by 2 inches. Seat colors not perfect. they look good but in indian conditions such a light color is a big NO. Only MRF tyres instead of bridgestone or michellin.
Final Words
I am not happy with the spare parts availability of BRIO ..
My car met an accident on 5th Nov. , and little damage to the right hand side at front , but the car has still not got repaired (today being 26th nov) and the spares are no where available. They dont even have a date when i can expect the car returned to me.
.. if this is the condition in Mumbai, then god forbid what would happen in small towns.....My advise to everyone, when it comes to cars , technology/product is only as good as the service/spares availability ...because of all the technology products (like TV, smart phones, laptops, cars etc) car is the only one which would always call for service, and if thats poor , u r doomed..waiting for my car's spares since last 20 days , and they cant even tell me when can i expect the spares, leave aside getting my car back.. (complaint # 111201260) {*I should have followed others and gone for i20}

Exterior: Nice to look from outside, both front and back.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Steering drops into your lap and hard to get out of the car.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Engine slow pick up at the start but picks up later and speed is good. Able to manoeuvre well in Chennai roads. Poor fuel economy: only 8 km per litre for a petrol car. My old Hyundai Santro was giving better!
Ride Quality & Handling: Ride is better and smooth, easy to handle and park. Good to drive on the highways than city roads.
Final Words: Misled by reviews into buying this since I wanted good mileage. I drive within a small area in south Chennai and perhaps not the car for such persons. On the highway is good with space for front driver and passenger, manoeuvres well, but low on space to hold luggage or large shopping and no place to rest leg for driver when not using the clutch.
Areas of improvement: Rest pad for legs when not using the clutch is a must, mileage improvement necessary else will have to sell and go for car with better mileage. Honda's poor service is also hurting. RC book not given despite having bought the car 40 days before.
Good style, driver and front passenger space is goodPoor mileage, 8 per Km, poor service, back seats and bag space less, pick up slow initially
