I am also driving Fiat Palio 1.2 Elx currently, so my expectation was high when purchasing Honda Brio. In all area i have found the Brio good except the suspension compared to Fiat palio. Fiat Palio flattens the road But Honda Brio not.
Exterior I like Front and Rear look. Side look might be good if length would be increased.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I got Brio S MT at 4.65 lacs on road price with in-built 2-Din music system in Nov 2012. No other car of this category was providing in-built 2-Din music system at this price. Interior looks good and roomy. Seats are comfortable and there is sufficient room inside the car. My height is 5'11'', so for me, rear seat is not so comfortable due to lack of thigh support. Rear suspension is not so good. For large path holes you will need to make the car very slow, otherwise rear passengers will curse you :)
Good AC with large vents to cool the cabin fast.
Good Music system but without CD/DVD player. Boot is small for this segment.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very smooth. But initial pickup is less Despite engine with 88 PS and 109 Torque. High rev pickup is good for overtaking.
Average mileage is 13 - 14 with ac and 14-16 without ac in city driving. Mileage increased as time passed. GearBox is good. GearBox is becoming smoother as time passes.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good. Handling is the key feature of this car. Handling is very very good. I feel comfortable driving in city and highway.
Steering is very light, very useful in city.
Final Words Value for money with Quality. You will not regret the car if you have no much requirement of large boot.
Areas of improvement Suspension should be improved. Its length should be increased at least 100-150 mm to increase the boot and for side look.

I am now proud owner of silver exmt brio with awesome interiors and exteriors. I am fully satisfied with my brio till now. Its being one week. Right from the beginning it is giving me FE of 13 to 14 kmpl highway while i am a new driver. It is my first car.
My cousin is 15 years experienced driver, he drove it with FE of 15.5 kmpl on highway. He liked its powerful engine and fantastic control even on bad roads and in traffic. I hope after first service, FE will definitely increase to ~19 kmpl.
The Honda staff is very helpful. They always try to satisfy my queries on phone and in person. Earlier, they refused any discounts/accessories. I still wanted the car. At delivery time, they gave me few accessories like rear parking sensor, discounted wheel cover and anti rust, mud flaps, floor mats etc. I am very happy. This was my dream car and my dream comes true.
Guys, it really loves you back. You need to love your car. Drive it with love and care.

Exterior
Just lovvve it. 4/5 stars due to the lack of Japanese version roof rail which looks stunning. Optional indian roofrail as an accessory at a price of Rs 7500 just looks odd and sucks.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
No complain. A perfect 5 seater though with not all the bells and whistles but have every essentials in its VXMT model.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine is naturally aspitated free revving one . Ride over 2500 rpm is best ,in lower rpm zone though not compared to swift but not complainable.
Mileage is 13-14 in city BHUBANESWAR which is decent. In highway 17+(Mind blowing while driving between 80-100 kmph).
Gearbox feel is good and short throws just match the engine brilliantly.
Ride Quality & Handling
This is the most exciting department for brio. Its the best and all its competitors including swift zxi cant even a match to it. This department turned me to a BRIO FAN from a SWIFT fan.
-It just has a poison balance which holds the ground like a leech. Steering is precise and weighs up nicely with the loading suspension and increasing speed. Feedback is awesum. It might sometimes make me briophobic.
Brilliant engineering by HONDA in just Rs 600000.
Final Words
Mr Ashok has his opinion which I think RUBBISH AND BASELESS. If u people want to buy a brio then just go to nearest Honda service centre and ask the owners or drivers. U ll have ur answer closely matching to my review. Bcoz its the truth.
Areas of improvement
Japo roofrail, turn indicators on mirrors , rear wiper, latest fm antenna.
On engine profile please dont change anything. I just love it.
RIDE AND HANDLING with the best power steering in this segment or above.Rear roof rail should be there just like the JAP versions. Indian one sucks.

Exterior It is really beautiful it is not copied from any car it has own look and its completely unique. Just like a cute and beautiful girl.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is ok, I am missing water bottle carrier to rear seat. Although its simple and spacious. It seems it is a small car but it is spacious inside and sitting comfort are good. When the driver sits in the car the sit completely gives comfort to him.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Wow, its really amazing to drive this car. Its completely noiseless and the car does not stop at 4th gear even @ 20km/h speed. Without AC 15KM/l in Pune city and 13km/l with AC. Gear changing is enjoyable.
Ride Quality & Handling I feel I am driving a world class car by paying just 6.2 Lakh.
Final Words What to say I get world class ride feeling, ABS, SRS bags for front passenger by paying just 6 Lakh. Amazing.
Areas of improvement Everything is Honda Brio is standard, I just miss automatic AC control.

Exterior
Front looks good, Rear not so impressive, Silver color and Grey looks good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Spacious but Luggage space is very limited and awkward to use; Sitting feel very low (s if you are used to wagon R, Zen, Santro etc type hatchbacks, AC cooling waned in few weeks itself
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Overtaking can be a challenge with this car on 3-5th gear and that too with AC on, Fuel economy not good, Gears are fine
Ride Quality & Handling
One on the highway it is smooth and silent, braking is good. Low ground clearance is a key issue and this car can get continuos beating from Indian road bumps, stones, etc
Final Words
Pulse, Liva are better competitiors if you wish to be more concerend about driving than anything else. Just 2 months with it, now planning to change.
Areas of improvement
Ground clearance, Fuel economy, Pick up on high gear
Front looks good, SpaciousLow Ground Clearance, Low Fuel Economy, Overtaking is risky

I bought this car in Feb 2013 from Pune. So far I have drived this car close to 15K and overall I am very happy and proud on my car. Almost all friends and relatives appreciates the design, comfort, space (except boot space) of this car. Regarding Milage I always drive with AC and in city it gives me around 13 KMPL and on highway it gives around 15-16 KMPL which is very decent for 1200 CC car. In past I have drived many other cars but this car is best in terms of smoothness in driving. Even with engine on, you will not realise that car is actually on.
Lets talk about the negative side as well. This car has got small boot space. In Liter you may find it almost same but with the currrent design of the car it is very difficult to fit big bags, everytime you will need to adjust rear seat for utilzing the boot space which many time seems big issue. One more problem which makes me very unhappy is some sound from the rear (sound like some stone hits the car while driving). Every time it goes from pit on road (Gaddha) car creates this sound. I have get this checked with so many service stations but everyime I did not get any solution. In fact many time they changed some small parts as well but problem is still same. I will certainly give 5 Star if someone can resolve this problem.
Good Fuel economy, Specious, Style, Value for money, Service Centres ETC...Boot Space, Some heavy sound from rear which all service stations so far not able to identify

Exterior It is an absolutely stunning looking car and to my mind has the best look in the segment. Its a bit smaller in length than other hatchbacks in the segment which makes parking a bit easier for me (parking is a big pain point in Delhi. So few inches less is great).
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The cabin is fantastic and in the VX MT model, given the biege interiors, it feels quite spacious. The ride is comfortable. Have already take it on two road trips to the hills and the ride quality felt very good. There is a stereo which has amongst the best speakers available and not just in this category. I have had friends with cars 4 times the prices and they prefer the stereo of the Brio to those in their cars. AC is fantastic. The only disappointment is lack of covered storage (besides the glovebox). In my previous car, I used to use the small sliding ashtray (perhap dunno what else it was for) for storing coins and change. This used to come very handy for parking and tolls. Lack of similar storage is a downside in the otherwise fine interiors.
The key problem is boot space. I did travel with two other friends for a short 4 day holiday. Some of our bags (camera bags etc.) were sitting on the fourth seat. Recommended to use bags/rucksacks instead of suitaces. Before I bought the car, I knew this would be a concern but I knew that it would not be such a big issue simply because I travel light. And over 95% of the time, I am dirving in the city and the boot is fine for that use.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine feels great (which is obvious given it s VTEC). It is very smooth. Have been driving this car for over 7 months now and have driven it in the city as well as highways and it is brilliant everywhere. Gearbox as well is good. Fuel effieicncy depends on traffic conditions and how one drives honestly. In the city right now, I am able to get about 14.5 kmpl which is great because Delhi NCR have insane traffic conditions and jams or slow moving traffic really kill the fuel effiecieny for no fault of the car. Overall, I am quite satisfied
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good. The car feels sturdy and that reflects in good handling and stability on highways too. even when I was driving in the hills, I felt pretty confident and the car feels very planted.
Final Words I had my eyes set on the Brio for several reasons - its a HONDA, engine is VTEC, it looks absolutely stunning, has good trims levels and is quite good to drive both in city and on highways. I would highly recommend this car to all.
Areas of improvement Boot space is a challenge and thats a compromise because of the design. For me it was not a big sticking point because I travel light and use cabs when taking flights.

Exterior Personal Choice. I love every bit of it. I like the rear glass a lot as it is pretty sturdy and strong.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Loads of space (except luggage) for passengers, Easy to fit in 5 people. Driver height adjustable seat is really useful. For other passengers getting IN and OUT is not good as the car seating is low. Good under thigh support for everyone. A/C works fine (if alone then close the passenger side vents).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Poor power at lower revs. Need to downshift gears to juice out the power. But never felt lack of power after downshifting.
Fuel economy is subject to your driving styles. I am a sedate driver. For my daily ccommute from South Delhi to Gurgaon, in summers (with 100% A/C ON) i get between 12-14. In winters (no A/C) i get around 16-17. I mostly drive with Green ECO lamp ON. The best fuel efficieny i got was 25 for the first 100 kms from delhi to Jaipur at early morning (almost nil traffic) with max speed 80. When my wife drives in city with 100% A/C i get barely 10-12 average.
Ride Quality & Handling Very practical road manners. Well implanted on road and never feels like going out of control. Suspension is on stiffer side. which is good for highways but bad for city conditions (esp potholes). Looks low floor but i have never faced GC issues (rubbing with ground).
Final Words Excellent car for daily commute in 5 lac buget. Great fuel economy (only if ECO driving). Loads of power beyond 2K rpm. Great after sales service as service reps themselves detected rear shocker oil leak during regular service and inititated a free replacement under warranty.
I plan to keep it for a long time.
Areas of improvement I always wanted to have Auto A/C in the car. They just recently launched new BRIO with that option.

Oh I just love the looks. Its a style statement. And excellent quality of finish and paint. The doors thump nicely on closing - the sound of good engineering! Glasses are top quality. I just had a minor issue with the wipers. Not so effective, the one on the co-driver side.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Front seats are very comfortable. Easy to get in and out especially for elderly people. Rear seats comfy but not too much space for an adult. Also the rear doors dont open as wide as the front. Good for children though. Boot space is at a premium. But thats a compromise you would have to do for a small car.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine has a sweet sound of power and good tuning. Is powerful too especially when you give the vehicle some legs - try revving high at 60 - 70 KMPH and see the fun!
Fuel economy. In Delhi I get about 14.5 with AC. Long distance (I have driven 8000 KM in 6 months 250 - 300 KM at a stretch). gave me 18 when new, 20 after first service and now 22 after second service.
Gear box is a sore point. Some vibration on the gear stick and a bit jerky - not too smooth. First gear is too high, second too low, fourth not that effective.
Ride Quality & Handling
Handles like a peach. Great fun to drive. Ride quality is good but on the country roads you gotta go slow - ground clearance is negligible. On a few bumps in Rajasthan, Punjab and Harayana village roads I have hit a thing or two.
Final Words
I love the car. Should have bought it earlier. Love it. My wife loves it (though she would'nt admit it to me - she prefers her Getz) and my Mom loves it. Great for city rides and on highways.
