My more than three month's Driving Experience is very bad. Lot of Quality Issues: Model Name BRV –S Diesel VIN: XXXXXX Engine No: XXXXXX Odometer till 19th Sept 2016: 5061 KM Purchased BRV on 21st May 2016 and lodge complain on 26th May 2016 about noise from co-driver side door and pillar side, Back side Tail gate door noise, back seat noise and Back side tail gate rear Mirror rubber strip sucks automatically. Visited Paras Honda more than 20 times from last three months but till date not satisfied and complains are not rectified from any one in Honda service center.

(1)Noise heard from co-driver side area while driving.

      (2) Lock noise heard from left co- driver and center row right door (3) Noise heard from Tool Kit area while driving.

      (4) Rear Boot Door level difference from car body, not aligned, so unequal gap is visible on both left & right side and have noise.

      (5) Steering Colom cover is not aligned.

      (6) Noise heard as if rear number plate is loose (7) Steering Wheel Noisy above 120 KM speed.

      (7) if you service your car from Paras Honda your cars mileage drop immediately and it show in odometer more than 30 KMPL why no answer.

      (8) Best part is that, they use double tape to reduce noise in car. After 04 – 05 days again noise increased. Company don’t have permanent solution for noise reduction done and I have done under body rust treatment from same Honda service center. Paras Honda people only know how to sell accessories and create bills for extra things. They don’t know how to fix problems. Twice complain on Honda call center but not satisfied. Hope complain will reach to higher authorities.

Exterior It is Good on the exterior part except that it looks in similar to Mobilio which gives bad image. Tail Lights is good. Small Width of the vehicle.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Worst Dashboard Design ever seen. Its left so empty on the music system part with plain plastic without design. No TV Display system for any of the version. Its good in Spacious. Highly uncomfortable during long journeys and you will body pains.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gearbox can be a little better in smoothness. Engine is good and low noice levels.

Ride Quality & Handling Driving is nice. Lacks suspension. Small dent on road makes huge jerks inside car.

Final Words If long journey is not a concern, and just need people to fit in. This car can be preferred.

Areas of improvement Suspension must be improved a lot. Dashboard Design is real worse you will feel. Comfort levels for long time seating is very bad. Inside-Top looks cheap plastic and it can be improved to give premium feel instead of cheap feel.

Driving, Space, No Sound, Tail lightsUncomfortable for long journeys, Worst Dashboard Design, Mobilio looks

Everything is good in this car for family use from looks to mileage. Space and driving comfort to safety. Highways mileage around 18-23 and in city 12-13 kmpl. CVT is best for busy roads and hill stations as it moves inch by inch on ur control just with on leg effort.

Overall it's excellent car. Only drawback is low pickup while overtaking and should have touchscreen &reverse camera. Plus points are smooth driving never get tired and bored. Seating is comfortable. Ground clearance is good. Suspension is good. Ac is powerful.

Absolutely love this Car!!! Now before I go Ga-Ga over this SUV/ MUV/ City car, let me introduce myself so you all understand my perspective. I am an mechanical engineer who works in an automotive seating design and manufacturing company. Our company basically caters to almost all global Oems seating systems. Since this car has been around for quite some time I bet everyone knows about it’s competitors. I would directly place it against Hyundai Creta and recently launched Mahindra Marazzo. Having driven both, I still went for BRV CVTfor following reasons: 1. When placed against Creta > has got an additional third row > CVT is butter smooth compared to Cretas automatic. > larger windows gives you a more roomier and spacious feeling > interiors of creta, (I mean the dashboard and the controls) are better than BRV and more appealing. I replaced my existing audio system pioneers touch screen system (22k extra - worth it) > is cheaper than Creta > 2R and 3R seats offer recliners. A good to have feature for long drives > boot space is tremendous > Ivtec engines are known for their performance over the the world. 2. When placed against Marazzo > Marazzo doesn’t offer CVT or automatic for that matter > you don’t want your personal car to stand next to the one that ferries people from city to airport on a regular basis > seating comfort is better in Marazzo than BRV > IMO 3rd row legroom is better in BRV than in Marazzo or would say is the same. > for a Marazzo mid variant the cost is same compared to a CVT BRV version. > no cruise control on BRV but there are paddle shifters Now I didn’t pit BRV against innova or hexa as they belong to an entirely different segment and a lot costlier than the Honda. I believe the BRV is a more practical car and gives you just enough features to fall in love with it. For eg.. door handle car lock/unlock, engine start stop button, on the roof ac vents, one touch fold and tumble seats, alloy wheels etc. Now I would have loved to have more variants in CVT with may be a sunroof or leather seats or with a touch screen display but unfortunately Honda sticks to what it’s been doing on almost all their offerings. Also the things that go with the BRV are it’s low maintenance cost compared to creta or Marazzo and the insurance cost is also cheaper compared to other two. That reduces the cost of ownership. I have driven on highways for about 200kms and the mileage I have got is a decent 15.5kmpl and about 11.3 kmpl in the city, but I will update the review after I put on more miles on this vehicle. I have also driven over rough and patchy roads and there was some body roll observed. However the 210mm ground clearance is helpful in going over the rocks and pits. The buying experience was also great. I bought the car from Deccan Honda pcmc, the staff was prompt and handed over the car within 10 days of my booking with an handsome discount. All in all, I am very content with the car. It is just what my family of 6 needed. FYI ., the 3rd row is now reserved by my daughters.. lol. I wonder why Honda didn’t market it more as it’s an excellent family car with rugged SUV looks and can driven well inside the city. I would suggest people to go for it.

Exterior is stylish and cool for an SUV, I love the tail lights.

Interior (Features, Space) luxurious interiors and good quality space.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good pickup but lacking mileage.

Ride Quality & Handling You can feel the bumps when driving but good handling. worth the money definitley and features of the car for eg. parking sensors armrest seat covers. Needs some improvement on the mileage and shock absorbers. You fly in th air on the bumps and mileage is around 11 kpl.

This car comes in lots of different colours but the best in my opinion is the silver metallic. The music system is also very clear and loud. The back A/C vents make sure that the 2nd and 3rd row are comfortable and cool.

      "LET THE HUNT BGIN".

In all I would say a good vechicle from Honda.

Will come with more detailed review once i have completed 1500 Km....its just 300KM done so that review is still in the nacent stage.

good style, maximum space, luxurious seatsbad mileage, not the best performance

Honda BRV V-CVT Honda is known for its steadfast cars and India needed a full blown 7-seater MPV in mid-range, A 7-Seater in this price segment would have been a godsend for bigger families with limited budget (Toyota Innova is about 25 lakhs). Honda decided to jump in this blue ocean with its game changer for middle class big families MPV called the “ Honda BR-V “ a.k.a “ Honda Be Ready Vehicle “ and yes it is as its name suggests a “ Be Ready Vehicle “ with a seating capacity of 7 adults and talk of the town boot capacity of 223L (All 3 Rows Up), 691L ( 3rd Row Folded). The purpose of a mid-range family car can be easily obliged with Honda BR-V without that big hole in the pocket (For Innova we pay around 25 lakhs) and this being a smaller engine the cost of maintaining this MPV is much lesser than any other 7-seater (Fortunately-Unfortunately only Innova is a proper 7-seater) Indians have a tendency of comparing cars of the same price range without understanding the fact that different cars are made for different purposes, Like BR-V is being compared with Creta but is it really a wise thing to do so? No. Creta is a bigger hatch-back and BR-V is a proper MPV with better ground clearance than most of the SUV’s in India (210 MM and to put it in context Mahindra Scorpio has a ground clearance of 180 mm) Apart from being blessed with awesome ground clearance and 7 seater capacity the Honda BR-V CVT is blessed with world know 7- Speed Automatic (With Paddle Shift and this really cant get any better) Continuous Variable Technology gearbox which makes it a cake walk to drive it in city traffic and a pleasure on highways with a descent mileage of 15-18 Kmpl and believe it or not this is a real good number that BRV-CVT churns out on being an automatic car of this size. The 1600cc 120 BHP power house powers up BRV CVT Petrol and I have driven it on Hills like Nainital with 6 Adults and luggage and not even once I felt the need of paddle shift or Sports mode. BRV was negotiating hills and turns courteously. On the interior side it has a piano black finish which adds to the class of the cabin, push button start, blue tooth connectivity, Aux plugin and classy music system (You will fall in love with the quality of sound) adds to the pleasure of driving. Not to forget the roof mounted AC vent for 2nd and 3rd row feels like gift of God in Indian summers. Steering mounted audio controls, dual air bags, Pre-tensioner Seat Belts with Load Limiter, Anit-Theft system with immobiliser are other pluses. All said and done there are few things that Honda could have done better to make BR-V a complete package like a touch screen system ( that is made available even in smaller Maruti stable cars), cruise control and sun roof (May be because of roof mounted AC vent there is no sunroof ) and a bare minimum reverse parking camera as a stock supply ( For a car of almost a Cessna length reverse parking camera is a must ). With a wheel base of 2662 mm, the car offers a very generous leg space even in 3rd row, However the width 1735 mm is little less and could have been better and this could have added to the comfort of seating to adults in 2nd row. With 1662 mm height even a 7 feet long human will have space for puffy hair style the 16-inch rim size and diamond cut alloys adds to look and stand of BR-V and the front disk/rear drum breaks are good enough to bring the car to a dead stop from 120 kmph in mere 3 meters. BRV is a dressed family car for big families that loves to travel together with safety and Honda’s world known trust of petrol engines. Looks wise BRV may not look like an SUV but neither does Volvo V 60 nor does BMW X1 looks like one. India needs to understand the difference in SUV and MPV and the day we understand this BRV will be loved by millions of big Indian families who love to move composed in sheer comfort. Or probably, as we follow herd mentality in India, the day SUV word became talk of the town everything is tried to be bracketed in this, rather than creating own niche.

I have driven 1Lac 80 Thousand kilometer. but still feels like a new car. Giving an average of about 22 to 25 depending on your drive on the highway. Best for a long journey with Six people. Service and maintenance costs around Rs.50000. Safety feature is great. at 140 km per hour speed I applied brake and it jammed on the road. great experience. spacious car
