After a couple of months research on compact sedan petrol options I finally ended up for Amaze VX petrol version and bought it last month, I was quite impressed by the look, silent cabin during driving, decent power delivery, the rear legroom, quality interior, segment best boot space, so fix mount etc But on the very next day of purchase i noticed a power lagging while negotiating a steep and thought that it may be since I am not hitting accelerator too hard, but it was June st an indication about the real issue of the car, I was literally shocked when the car was not able to ascent on a steep when I had stop in between and proceed, the car was not able to move further with 5 pax, I approached the dealer and service person told me that its a common complaint they are getting from every petrol car owners and they can do nothing, and they don't recommend it on a hilly roads, since its a common issue in every car they cant treat it as a complaint !! I wrote to Honda also but all in vain, I bought it for my wife and she is afraid to drive the car So I strongly recommend to everyone who plans to buy an amaze petrol to test on a steep and then only make a decision, else you have to regret about buying a car having all the features you wanted except the basic requirement: a safe and tension free ride on roads
