Good effort BUT Silly Costs Cuts

Exterior Its same as BRIO from front and side. Rear lamps like Old City. Can not be said the best styling in the game. SAIL, LINEA, MANZA, D'ZIRE look more attractive. The boot attached to BRIO lacks proper symetry. In case of D'ZIRE (Swift) , Manza (Vista) or SAIL (U VA) finishing is far superior, when the respective hatch backs are converted to saloons.

Front Indicators of most of HONDA cars are NOT visible, when Headlamps are in full beam, due to wrong positioning between front grill & headlamps. This is very risky.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Front seats without adjustable head rest are silly & painful cost cutting done in car that is more than half a million Rupees. Interior space management of Honda cars are never best in business. D'Zire, Manza, Linea, Rapid etc. offer much better space.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Its too early to say anything for Honda's Diesel engine. Honda 1.5 Diesel sounds heavy. And lighter 1.3 MJD in Maruti, Tata & FIAT cars has proven record and cost of maintenence is much lower than even petrol engines of most of hatches. The sheer volume of 1.3 MJD on Indian roads is nearly 5 Lakh vehicles and fast growing.

Fuel economy, showroom staff says can be 15-17 kmpl in city.

Ride Quality & Handling Can not be said about handling, as saw car in showroom. Sales staff just started the engine. Cabin space is among the smallest in the segment, ride quality can not be the best.

Final Words Its good effort and can lay foundation for future HONDA diesels.

Areas of improvement Front seats, Front Indicators, Rear styling, Cabin space etc. are ares need improvements.
