Why I call XC90 the 'Best'

Over five years of owning the Volvo XC90, the positives have solidified its standing as a remarkable luxury SUV. Technologically, the XC90 has aged gracefully, with the infotainment system and driver assistance features still offering a modern driving experience. The durable build and reliable performance of the engine contribute to the vehicle's overall appeal. On the flip side, the constraints become more apparent with time. The initial premium cost of the XC90 might be a barrier for some buyers, and over the years, maintenance costs tend to accumulate, potentially impacting the overall cost of ownership. While the fuel efficiency is reasonable, it may not compete with more recent models in terms of economy. As the vehicle ages, access to affordable and readily available spare parts could become a consideration.
