As petrol version of the volkswagen vento is very bad in its mileage, it is more sautible on highways only for driving to get good mileage of about 14-15 km/l, in city case it gets 9-10 km/l. But it has awesome smooth driving as we can drive the car more in third gear itself. But in most of the cars we have to change into the second gear when it comes to 20 speed, but it is not the case in the vento. This is only major change i have liked. very tough maintanence for petrol. The vento cannot compete with the present technology car like new hyundai elite i20, which has awesome features in its middle price range of 9 Lakhs.

Final words Very tough to maintain the petrol version of the vento for middle class family, which attracts more at the time of purchasing.
