      I bought a new polo one litre engine highline plus and iam very much dissapointed about the new treatment done with this engine by engineering into one litre, the power delivery is very less to respond, it takes a hell lot of time to give you power and the worst you can feel while climbing high range and if there are 5 people inside while climbing highrange you can feel the car shivering once u have to stop and climb.

      The whole body shivers while u release your clutch and that happens because of less power, Volkswagen must rethink and do the best to change this new one litre engine and upgrade to the best because the customers who are buying volkswagen need quality not the mileage we are concerned, and apart from that as always the body quality and safety is the best while comparing to other cars.

      Worst experience. After buying within one month I went to service station 4 to 5 time for REPAIRING... In new car ... no one giving proper answer only REPAIRING.. now in 5 month around total kept car for around 8 time for REPAIRING. No proper answer from company worst experience . From company they are giving no answer

      VW sales team are one of the best i have come across. They try to understand the need of the customer and accordingly try their best to chalk out a solution. In terms of ride quality, nothing comes close to VW Polo in its segment i feel. Look and feel of the interior is excellent. The quality of plastic used throughout the car feels very good even at the bottom areas near the floor mats. Things have been designed and technology has been used keeping in mind the convenience of the driver and the passengers. Overall outer looks should be improved a bit. The engine is a bit underpowered compared to the rest of the competition in this segment. VW cars are quite hassle free and requires minimum maintenance.

      great car ..love to drive ...handling is amazing..saftey feature is above the mark..saved my life many times.. Good handling Good engine safety features is great build is solid.. servicing every 15000 Km or 1 year its a myth that servicing and spare parts are costly..there isnt much difference. boot space is good rear space is bit less.. gear could be bit smooth ground clearance could be better

      Best car in 1000cc segment Good pickup I liked very much. Good milage also. Anyone who prefers to take a car in 1000 cc should go for this car only. It is the best car for highway journey and is also preferable 4 city journey but spare parts are little costilier than other brands. Good car ?????

      i bought VW Highline plus from Deccan Himayath Nagar - 2017 December . Driver comfort car , In Highway and Traffic , one can feel the Volkswagen's Engineering Skills . when car cruising at 160km/hour - passengers inside the car cannot feel the speed . Break control system is super , power steering makes the drive comfortable

      I owned a 2012 Hyundai i20 CRDI 6 speed magna version. At the time there were no hot hatches in India , the polo gt twins came later in 2013, my dad insisted in buying a polo tdi 75bhp but I wasn’t really looking forward to buy the car due to low performance, however the i20 had 15ps and 45nm more , I also liked the way i20 looked , i was about 20years old then , hence got a i20 mid version which on road costed aroun 7.6 lacs with no abs and airbags ! Drove the car for about 80k km and was done with it as it lacked performance and safety kit , steering was so light it could make u nervous on highways, interiors golf the i20 started rattling , I knew it was time to upgrade as it had been 6 years. One of my friend was selling his Gt tdi 2015 model , when I saw this thing up close I fell in love with the design, u wouldn’t know unless ur standing next to it , though it’s about 10 years old , still looks better than some of its competition, the car is absolutely brilliant, the way it takes off u will be pushed back to your seats , I love this beauty , love the black interiors, the quality is on another level for a small hatch back , Hyundai and Maruti have to learn from these Czech and German car makers ! Also the polo lacks rear seat space , I don really like it’s unbearable, I have sat behind comfortably and I’m 5.11. Unlike the gt tsi which drinks up a lot of fuel , the gt tdi returns about 12kmpl even when driven hard , highways I get about 20kmpl which is too good for a car which is has over 100 bhp n weighs above a ton ! Overall I’m happy with this car , touchwood so far I have not had any issues in the last two years , service cost is around 12 to 13k which is good and I don understand why people create such bad impressions about the after sale service, yes they to improve it but only if u buy these cars is when VW earn more money to invest in service centre’s around , my friend who drives an 2014 Audi A4 says the steering feel and the handling is pretty much the same on the gt tdi which is a huge compliment to the car , one can’t say that about a Hyundai or Maruti. This beast can do 170km an hour in a jiffy , on a Hyundai i20 goin above 140 could make ur palms sweat ! I wanted to buy a regular polo but I could finally manage to get a gt which was like a dream ! I love this beauty , will keep this for another 5 years before I could upgrade again ! Thanks VW ????

      I am writing review after driving it almost 40k+ KM in 2.7 Years. First Impression. Before decided to buy Polo, I took test drive of Tata Zest Diesel, Hyundai Verna 1.4 ltr Diesel, but the experience I got from Polo I didn’t get from rest of 2. The drivability, control, pick up & built quality everything were just outstanding, So I went with Polo avoiding the constraint of rear seat leg room.

      Exterior: It’s just like all time beauty without aging, front steel grill & headlights are very attractive, from outside looking like a small Car, but actually not. Outside view is really good.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Driver Seat & Front Seat is comfortable compare to rear, space in rear leg room is less & Rear AC Vent is also missing compare to competitors. I enjoyed essential features like Cruise Control, Rain Sensing Wiper, Auto dimming Rear view mirror, Driver Seat manual height adjustment, All 4 windows one touch up down button, Touch Screen music system missing GPS navigation, but we can connect 2 mobile at a time via Bluetooth 1 for Phone call & another for music, Telescopic Flat bottom Steering Wheel etc. I tried multiple time to connect mirror link enabled phones but didn’t succeed yet, getting error mirror link is not certified. Features like Apple Car play/Android auto is missing. Rear Sensors are working fine & convenient.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Engine is pushing a lot after it crossed 1500 RPM. Engine is Little bit louder from outside. I crossed 180 mark easily on YExp. Way, multiple time I crossed 160 mark. Build quality & sound insulation is superb. Corning control is also good but needs to keep right pressure on type i.e. 32psi, otherwise little bit vibration observed on high tyre pressure. I drove for 1800 km in 2 days from Mumbai to Bhadrakh, Odisha after 1 night stay in Nagpur & also return back in 2 days without facing any issue during this period. Build quality is just fantastic, as Road condition is just terrible from Aurangabad to Amaravati with big big ghadhas. Fuel economy in city I measured is near about 15-17 Km & on Highways 18-20 km per liter with AC. If you drive with cruise control mileage getting around 20-21km. The best part of Manual Gearbox is its automatically picking up, means if your speed is 10 & you are in 3rd gear, just leave the paddle, its automatically picked up your speed to 20+, like this all gears are having defined speed if you leave the accelerator, 30km per hour in 4th & 40km per hour in 5th gears as well. Ride Quality & Handling Tilt & Telescopic Steering wheel is very convenient & responsive. Telescopic Steering is not very much essential, as legroom is small.

      Conclusion: Excellent Ride & Build Quality, Cornering control everything is just excellent except service quality.

      Improvement required: GPS navigating system & Service Quality. Service Quality is just pathetic.
