Exterior There is by far no doubt that this vehiclw will impress you immediately. The aerodynamic styling, paint job, sturdy build and pleasant alloys just add to the beauty of the car. Anybody would just respect your car on the road and make way for it!! The bigger boot is a useful feature in this car which no other hatch would provide.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors of this car are way better than any other car. May be the HONDAs will come close by. A few accessories could have been included to just boost the sales of the vehicle such as GPS, EBD and EPS (available on the new 2015 Vento). The rear leg room needs a little improvement. I thought VW can extend the length of the car by a few millimeters may be close to 4 meters so that the rear leg room will improve. A rear AC vent would just make it a step better than the i20. Polo has one-touch auto-up and down anti-pinch windows, not available in i20. Polo has cornering lamps (the fog-lamp turns on automatically at night when the headlamps are on and you put the indicator and turn the steering wheel towards the side you want to turn). This feature illuminates the road better towards the curve. The automatic climate control is also a useful thing to have.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox This one is sleak, well planted and thoughtfully designed. There is no lag at all and the engine is quite peppy. Its a nice idea to put int he new 1.5L Engine derived from the Vento. It beats out the i20 by miles in this aspect. I drove the i20 Elite before deciding to buy the Polo only due to this aspect. The mileage of the car is a bit on the lower side where other cars prove to be better. Better drive the car below 2000 rpm. The mileage comes close to 14.5 kmpl in Hyderabad traffic. On the highway, it is better (around 19). The best part is, if you turn off the A/C, the car will simply zoom like a rocket at just 1500 rpm and the fuel economy will also improve a lot.
Ride Quality & Handling Simply awesome. Just effortless, you wont get tired driving this car. Drive even at 160 Km/hr and you wont even know at what speed you are at.
Final Words After all we are all buying a car for the Engine and the safety, others are all useless. In this aspect I chose to buy the Polo over the i20 Elite Asta. And mind you, the Polo HL TDI costed me 8.9L with immediate delivery while the i20 costs 9.5L (with a 2 months wait period)

German Engg looks awesome, Allow wheels are great. front grill is best in all hatch back.
The most important is color which I like Red which gives the sporty look to my car.
Build quality for each and every part is good. Leather Wrap steering, leather wrap hand brake with great qualtiy are something never observed in other hatch back cars. Interior is very rich and high quality material is used.. Music system with bluetooth is very awesome.
Fuel economy I get is 15-16 kmpl in city and 18-19 kmpl on highway for my Petrol highline version. Even sometime I got more than 20 kmpl on good highway like expressway.
One cant compare the ride and handling quality with any other hatch back cars. These kind of ride quality you will get only in premium luxury german cars.

Neat and plush. No oddities here with a mild body roll felt when on the pedal. The car does struggle a bit to hold its line but doesn't feel like a driving an RTC bus. No complaints at all.

I had bought polo1.2 at Elite motors -hosur road(a horible shop and service center).
1) They promised to give bumper to bumber insurance, sice i dont know eactly what it is, they cheated by giving general insurance.
2) I had given car for first service and got by car back after 2weeks to my hand(requestede elite motors service center to repair on dent by claiming insurance)
3) This point is amazing, after one month of first service,... my car is not moving at the trafic in silkboard-banglore which is a heavy trafic place .People moving on road felt inconvinient due this break down.road side assistance guys came to me after 2hours 30mins(wow).then i got a call from elite motors that i have to pay 30,000 rupees(wow).though the car is under warranty this great company is charging 30,000 rupess (car had romed around 10,000kms only).
My suggestion is dont by car from elite motors for sure.

Exterior It looks very much like a professional car. Very well designed in all directions. Exterior painting is very attractive and has got 7 years anti corrosive warranty. The exterior is very strong to withstand crash. It is designed with crumble zone in to consideration. All the exterior paints are of top quality to withstand for alifetime.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interiors look so royal , hard and give afeel of a big car from inside. the steering is designed differently to get a better driving experience, The seats are ergonomically designed such that no back pain is felt in a long drive. Very good boot space in its quality- will not be a problem in a family trip long way.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The TDI engine a big plus for this Car. With 1300 rpm it is able to reach the spead 100 kmph which is not possible by other car in this segment. The acceleration is very linear we do not feel any lag in it. The gerswifting and working is very smooth eventhough the clutch is little heavy. It gives fuel economy above 22kmpl when you drive below 2000 rpm and 50-80 kmpl. in city it gives 16-19 kmpl. Best value for money product

I purchased a black polo highline. I love the looks. Paint quality is excellent.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Interior plastics, seat fabric, switches and knobs are high class. It has great fit and finish and gives a rich look when you are in it. I am 5'10", its comfortable for me.even seat at the driving position, I tried sitting in the rear, its not that bad , the way its tlaked about. Its good for car of this size.

Engine noise is slightly audible at low RPM, gear box is great, well positioned, short throw and slots well.

A great car to drive, steering is fantastic and ride quality is amazing. Apart from this car, I have a corolla and Suzuki Grand Vitara, I love my polo. I can easily reccomend this car. Great work by volkswagen. Worth every penny. I feel my hard earned money has been well spent.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Providing Airbags with base models will benefit very much in the sales and two tone dashboards will be added advantage but sometime it feels not classy. The steering wheel looks well designed comparing current car.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine will be the best in class, seems it can wipe out all issues with current 1.2L engine. But the NVH is still unknown.

Exterior Great Exteriors, though I have expected difference like Sunroof to differentiate with other varients.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are great along with music system, though Space is somewhat less for more comfortness.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is high class and the gearbox as well. Love to ride at anytime. Fuel economy is not at its best but still doesent matter if you want class of that kind.
Ride Quality & Handling Verybuttery you can say. No one has complained as of now.
Final Words I would love to ride this vehicle at any point, whether you wake me up early morning or in midnight, no issues, even not worried of traffic as well. It has great pickup and no one will beat on that.
Areas of improvement I want to see Sunroof in near future and also one small change I want to see is that on dashboard when any door is open it shows same symbol of door open, to be precise what i want to see is that it should show symbol of perticular door which is opened, like if front left door is open then it should show accordingly instead of showing same right door open symbol, this will be more convenient.

Exterior VW sell all their cars as secure design. The body is strong, but the front and back bumpers are lousy plastic that will just break with no effort. The plastic mold that hooks the bumper to the body is bad design. A small accident, while reversing the car at less than 5 KMPH, resulted in the entire plastic bumper coming out. I have not seen this poor quality in either the Fiat or Ford that I owned earlier.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior is well designed. The seat is ergonomic and stereo gives rich output.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The fuel economy is better than promised. I was told that Palace Cross VW fired Manoj [who under promised, but sold professionally] out for that reason. A refreshing change about car salesman behaviour.

Final Words The service sucks. The second biggest VW dealer needs 30 days to replace a bumper. The car is sitting in their service station from 11/02/15 and the expected delivery is 07/03/15. They have not given an alternative - that Maruti and others give, I was made to run around for three days and they need five days for service pick-up from residences. Just keep away
