I purchased my New Polo 1.2L Highline Petrol car on 07/12/2012. I drove the car for 1261 kM TILL 29/01/2013. On the same day when I was driving the car on the highway, suddenly one street dog came on the way and hit the front bumper. The car speed was nearly 80/90 kmph. I stopped the car suddenly by merely 10 meters away from the spot. It is astonished to see that the front bumper cracked n there are leakage in the radiator by which the entire coolant drained out. I approached the RSA n came and rescued my car and carried the same to the budge budge workshop at Kolkata of OSL Exclusive which is only an authorised workshop of VW in West Bengal. I filled up the insurance claim for the accident. After few days, the service engineer intimated that the car is ok but he needs the permission for the test-run. Again after few days when I enquired about the car's delivery, the service engineer said that there is some engine problem and he needs the job order from me to open the engine. I requested them to contact the Bajaj Allianze Insurance Company from whom the first party insurance purchased. However, Insurance company is telling that as there is no external damage in the engine, no job order can be issued against the same. Now, my question is after purchasing the car with great hope by ignoring the country made cars like Maruti, Tata etc, who is responsible for the service/repair/replacement of my new car. Kindly help me out.
