Excellent car - Much better choice over Audi A4 & BMW 3 series

Exterior

Impressive and big  - with this car you can convey the message that "you have arrived". It makes you feel special with light effects and few other features. Generous usage of chrome all around gives it a clearly distinguished image and presence in upmarket league 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Black original leather interior looks good; though supporter of beige color interiors in India may have different view. However, globally, black leather interiors are associated with high end version of luxury cars. Airconditioned  / heated seats very comfortable, loaded with features which no other car at this price point carry 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Engine (same as in Audi A4 but with higher 168 bhp as opposed to A4's 140 odd bhp) is quite strong puller, For a change, Fuel economy is actually better than claimed by company.. (if you drive sensibly)

Ride Quality & Handling

 Absorbes most of the road unevenness, handling good, very silent inside

Areas of improvement  

Vehicle manual provided by VW is not consistent with presence / absence of couple of features in Indian version of vehicle. Overall, I also found it not so informatively and fluidely written. This factor is important when you are trying to get used to the vehicle during first few weeks.
